We could not have been more pleased with our stay! The home is comfortable, beautifully decorated (even better in person than in photos!) spacious, close enough to conveniences but far enough away to be realxing. Outdoor spaces and bikes were a bonus. Sean & Carra are awesome hosts, gave excellent recommendations, and thought of everything we needed + more, will be back!

What a great house for a week exploring acadia. The house was clean and well stocked. Seann and Casey were easy to reach and left great recommendations. We loved the fresh flowers and blueberry as well! Highly recommend.

This house was perfect for our family. There were spaces for the kids to get away from the adults and space for the adults to get away from the kids lol. Everything you could want was provided, from towels and toiletries to zip lock bags and coffee filters and coffee! The house was super clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring and easy to get to grocery stores and restaurants, souvenirs and just about anything you could want.
We didn’t have great weather for our trip, but we made the most of it. We were able to get in 47 miles of hikes and bike trips. My son and I used the bikes provided by the owners and they worked beautifully. I wish the weather would have been better, because we would have taken the kayaks and paddle boards out. They literally had EVERYTHING you could want to have an awesome outdoor adventure in Acadia National Park! The down time in the house was a pleasure. You couldn’t find a better place to stay!
I highly recommend this property!

We had the pleasure of working with Sean and Carra and staying at this beautiful property for our small wedding. It was the absolute perfect setting and Sean and Carra went above and beyond to help make our day special. We were able to covert the backyard into a reception space for dinner and dancing. The accommodations were perfect and everyone kept raving about how comfortable the beds were! The surroundings were classic Maine and were really nice for all our out of town guests. We cannot wait to see the pictures as this home was the perfect backdrop! If you are thinking about staying...do it!

Our family of five stayed at SW Harbor Hideaway and it was our favorite rental home ever; we would definitely go back and have already recommended this rental home to many friends. The location was perfect for us because we enjoyed being on the quiet side of the Island. The house is fully stocked with everything you need which made packing quite simple. We loved using the bikes for an 11 minute ride into downtown SW Harbor for popovers and taking the kayaks out to Little Long Pond.
The owners, Sean and Carra, are incredible hosts and we enjoyed every single one of their recommendations. You can tell they really care for this property because every detail is superb. The outdoor area is amazing and we loved using the fire pit for nightly s'mores and playing cornhole under the twinkling lights. Our experience was entirely positive and Acadia National Park is gorgeous!

Great week in Acadia!
We stayed with our two boys, 12 and 9, and had a great time hiking, biking and kayaking. It was nice to have kayaks at the house with mounting bars to put on our car. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, including a large washer and dryer, life jackets, maps and guides, a library of books, games and fun decorating touches. We enjoyed eating outside, sitting by the fire and having corn hole tournaments. Carra and Sean were great hosts and very helpful. We definitely recommend staying at this home!

Perfect Family Stay
This house was a fantastic place for our family to stay. It has endless details that make it fun, convenient and comfortable….all the things that you want when staying in the woods with young children. The hosts were absolutely wonderful…extremely communicative and helpful. Leading up to our trip they sent incredible amounts of information about activities, restaurants, hiking trails, etc that were great for guiding us along. They even let us know when the registration date for Cadillac Mountain would be. The house is thoroughly cleaned, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the layout and decor is so fun! The backyard (surrounded by a forest of pine trees) has a huge dining table, fire pit, and a bags game set up. It was perfect for relaxing after a day exploring in Acadia. We didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks or bicycles, unfortunately, but everything you need is provided (life vests, helmets, etc). It truly feels like your own home. Sean and Carra seem to have thought of everything. I could go on and on about this place. It really complemented our time spent in Bar Harbor and Acadia perfectly.
