We loved this property at Jeff St. it was warm, cozy and easy to get around! It was also very very clean!

We enjoyed our stay. The location to everything was great. The only downside was the cottage is in a very industrial area. And it did not have any outside amenities.
But we would definitely stay there again.
Thanks again for a lovely time.

Friends and I were here for a wedding, and in the bridal party so didn’t spend too much overall time at the property. It was clean upon arrival and check in and check out was smooth. The area is definitely industrial and not the best, but it was very quiet and we felt safe staying there.

We had a awesome stay here! A short trip to downtown charleston, and not too far from the beach! We took an Uber to downtown and to schem creek, and it was the perfect distance to everything! The host responded very quickly and I would recommend this place to anyone!

What a great stay! Sarah was fantastic from the beginning. She ensured that I read the property description and understood that the location is in a more industrial area, so there were no surprises. The area is quiet and safe, though, so there were no concerns.
The house is perfect for a family or small group (up to six). It is decorated adorably and has most everything you may need for a week. The coffee maker wasn't working on our first morning and Sarah dropped off one that day.
The information Sarah sent for check-in/ checkout were very detailed and easy to understand. She sent great recommendations for restaurants, activities, etc. and was quick to respond. Could not ask for a better hostess.

Awesome host/Questionable location
A bit hard to find. Host was amazing though which made up for location. Enjoyed Charleston - rent from her… she’s awesome!

WORST RENTING EXPERIENCE
This is the WORST experience I’ve had with renting a stay. Starting off when we got to the location it was located in a very remote sketchy place. No kidding I passed it intentionally because I thought I had the wrong location did not seem safe. Secondly, the air conditioner had repeated problems. We stayed Friday- Sunday and it broke everyday during the day and in the middle of summer when it get 95-100 degrees it was terrible. The owner fixed it at night but it was a consistent problem. We thought about opening the windows but there is a mosquito infestation in the area. Lastly, the last day we checked out 25 minute after the checkout time because we were cleaning up (dishes, sweeping, made the beds, took the trash out) and understandably she charged me for late check out. When I requested for the fee to be waived because we cleaned and the discomfort of the air conditioning she left me a bad review and charged me an additional charge a week later for “excess cleaning”. This could be a problem with her cleaning crew that is over charging her but she is trying to pass it on to her guests.
When we got there, there was already sticky tape on the walls from the prior guest which she is now trying to blame on our stay. This property has caused me a lot of headache. This is my first bad review EVER. Just trying to save people the trouble and bad experience. Charleston was beautiful and had a great time with my gal pals but do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else

Location
House is beautiful just as listed but the location of the property is terrible. The neighborhood it’s located is very low income and a night club right in front of the house, very hard to fall asleep.

Nice clean house
Very cute, well decorated, clean house. Had a bit of a fishy smell when entering like someone cooked fish recently but the house was very clean. Neighborhood was industrial and didn’t have many homes nearby but was a convenient drive to the historical part of Charleston. Sarah was very nice and communicative, great host.

Sweet little house!
We very much enjoyed this jewelbox of a home as a resting spot for our visit. Super convenient to downtown, easy to to-and-fro from, and enough space for our family of four (including gangly teen-aged twins) to relax at the end of the day. House was beautifully clean and tidy upon arrival. Bathrooms were very thoughtfully supplied with various soaps and toiletries. The beds are all super comfy, and the bedding was attractive and comfortable. The laundry room on the backside of the house was so convenient, nice, clean and neat, well lit, and totally not spooky! -We've seen some things, y'all :)
The house is tucked into a little side road between some industrial areas and lumberyards, with just one immediate neighbor. It was generally quiet, with an occasional (2x in seven days) early train passing by. We sleep with a white noise machine, and didn't find the train disruptive.
The kitchen is a great little nook for breakfast and coffee, with plenty of space to whip up a snack or two. We very much enjoyed checking out the restaurants in Charleston, and were happy to settle in mostly with snacks and drinks at 'home'.
We very much enjoyed our stay, and absolutely recommend this space. Sarah was excellent in her response time, communication in general, and her recommendations of nearby attractions were spot on! This was a much enjoyed 'post-pandemic' Spring Break for our family, and we are extremely grateful to have found this gem.

Charming House, Great communication with Sarah, location/area not great
We had a wonderful stay, Sarah was wonderful with communicating. The house was clean, accurately described and perfect inside. The surrounding area was however not what we expected and felt wasn’t quite as it seemed from description. We were not familiar with the area and should have done a tad more research perhaps, so that was our fault.

Great house - industrial environment
This house was adorable and accurately described. Perfect for a two night stay! It is definitely in an industrial neighborhood. I had company so I felt safe. It truly was quiet and we had zero issues. I just wish the surrounding houses /businesses were kept up as well as the Vrbo house! Great communication with host; we would stay here again. Thanks!!
