This is our 2nd time being here. Absolutely lovely! Everything about it is so peaceful and it is as described. Something we did this go around is sat out on the 2nd floor balcony at night and took in the night sky. You don’t get that just anywhere. Every night was clear and the stars were so bright with shooting starts. Very hard to describe, you just have to see it for yourself. We will definitely be back!

Great cabin, beautiful sunsets, & very peaceful. Those are three of the biggest stand outs. Lovell is a lovely town with super friendly residents..even had the opportunity to meet Stephen King! Debra is fantastic, from the small touches in the cabin, such as s’mores, to her communication to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our week. Even recommended Lovell Center Market for some delicious pizza. Cabin was spotless & the furniture was comfy, had a great nap in the recliner 😁 Overall extremely satisfied & looking forward to our next adventure there.

Very happy with my stay there

Both the property and host are top notch. Even thought we had 18" of snow the first three days it was maybe the best vacation we've ever had. Debra is extremely gracious and answered any questions right away. The property is clean and the views are incredible. This was our second stay and we're already figuring out when we can go back again!

I would definitely try to stay there again, when in the Conway / Bethel area

This is the perfect location for privacy and unobstructed views yet not too far from convenient amenities and shopping in the White Mountain areas. Direct access to the snowmobile trail system is excellent. Property hosts made our stay easy and communication was clear and concise. The property was clean and well kept. The wood stove is a nice touch and gives off exceptional heat. I would only note that this property was listed on VRBO as having a hot tub under ammentities and does not, I am not sure if this may be a glitch on the site itself. Regardless, we will definitely be back in the future.

Came as advertised. Very accommodating host! Debra even started a fire for our arrival and personally introduced herself when we checked in. Place was clean and well maintained.

We had a great time at Mountain View Cabin! Everything was exactly as described and we had some nice holiday touches added for our stay since we were there at Christmas. We enjoyed having family time, cooking, playing games, and watching movies by the fire. Our dog loved exploring the trails behind the house. Sunday River was about 45 minutes away for our son to do some snowboarding and we enjoyed the nearby towns and shops and restaurants. We’re already talking about a summer time trip.

Our stay at the Mountain View Cabin was perfect. Plenty to do, quiet, relaxing, super clean with everything we needed. Deb is a wonderful host and we are already working on when we can stay here again. We stayed for 10 nights and our dog Augie loved exploring the land the property is on. I couldn't have designed a better place to stay my self!

Loved this place! We did scenic "fall foliage" drives including going north to Bethel, then west on Hwy 2 to New Hampshire, then south on Hwy 16 past Mount Washington, east to Fryburg, then back north to the cabin. Lovely 2-hour loop drive. Nice hiking trail behind the cabin. Burgers and pizza at AJ's Everything are great. Food at Ebenezer's was great, especially the fried haddock. Lake access would be easy in the summer. Hosts were very good.

It's a great cabin with all the updates and comfort atop a pleasant hill overlooking the foothills. Near to the lake and area hiking trails. I kayaked and swam in beautiful Kezar Lake and didn't want to leave.

We enjoyed our Mountain View stay and retreat. The home was cozy and spacious. We enjoyed the decks and the beautiful sunsets. We arrived to a clean home well stocked to cook. The beds were very comfortable, we all had peaceful rest and we really thought the s’mores ingredients as well as the complimentary bottle of bubbly was a great touch. Made us feel right at home. Taking drives around can take your breath away. You’ll find great big hills that give picturesque views of the mountains. Thanks for hosting us!

I cannot say enough great things about our vacation here. Debra made everything so perfect, from the warm fire when we arrived, the champagne welcome and adorable St Patrick's Day decorations, to the easy check in and communication throughout! Mike and I had the best time with our pup Mowgli, we will definitely be looking to come back!

We were looking to get away for some R&R for a few days. This location was everything we were looking for and more. Everything in the description is accurate. The place is absolutely beautiful with wonderful views. Debra was wonderful. There was a day that we had a snow storm. Debra came by the day before with extra fire wood. She told us what to do incase of a power outage. She answered questions and was very helpful. They came and plowed the driveway during and after the storm. The only thing I would say to keep in mind is, because the location is very rural, cell service is spotty. There is WiFi but we had trouble with that during and after the storm. While we weren’t worried about being connected, communication with Debra during that time was delayed. We had an amazing time! We definitely didn’t want to leave but are looking forward to going back in the near future. Thanks Debra!!

So I hesitate to give this a good review because I'd like for it to be available for us but I can't be selfish. This place is fantastic, from location to the layout inside to the property and the fact they allow a pet. We went up to work on building a home so we just needed a place to sleep but we got so much more. They did a great job in upgrading this cabin, it just works so well. Pictures never do justice and it goes for the cabin, in person it's so much more than what you see online. We would, and hope, to go back again. There is great hiking in the area and it's a great jump off point for hiking some great mountains within 2 hours as well. The only problem you may find is deciding what to do.

Debra was a wonderful host and quick to respond. We enjoyed the private cabin. The lounge area was cozy by the wood stove and the window with mountain views. The outdoor fire pit was perfect for sunsets over the mountain. My dog loved exploring the woods and the trail out back. Overall would definitely recommend!

We loved it. I wish my granddaughter (age 13) had been with us; she would have adored that upstairs bedroom with its own balcony/deck and a sky bridge to get to it. I sent her pictures and she wanted to come all the way to Maine to sleep there. For 2 old grandparents, we didn't use the upstairs, but the downstairs was perfect. The highlight of the week was a road trip up to the Rangeley Lakes area, which was just spectacular.

What a beautiful cozy cottage setup on a liitle hill with great views. Love the fire pit. This is a great home base to explore western Maine and the White Mountains.

The property was wonderful, and who know in the middle of nowhere, you could get perfect Wi-Fi. We could not see another House, just what we wanted.

Debra was a very communicative and accommodating host. The views and quietness surrounding the cabin were amazing! The wooden cabin itself is beautiful and carries unique touches such as bear accents on the outside light fixtures to give the real cabin feel! The surrounding towns are awesome to explore with beautiful lake and mountain views! My suggestion is to consider adding a "grab bar" in the gorgeous tile shower for a safety enhancement for guests. My family and I really enjoyed our time at Debra's cabin and would love to visit again in the future.

This property sits on several wooded acres and a very quiet area but close to Kezar lake boat launch. The house is dog friendly, and our dog loved going for a little swim at the boat launch area. The house itself is beautiful. Very clean, very comfortable furniture, and speaking from someone who has a bad back let me just say the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on in a rental property. I did not have any back issues at all and slept very well. The bathroom looks like it was recently remodeled with a nice rain fall showerhead. Excellent water pressure as well. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of dishes and cookware, the dishwasher and a microwave. There is TV with Wi-Fi and you can watch Netflix etc. if you have your own account but in all honesty we did not spend much time watching TV except when there was a rainy day or late in the evening. We were too busy enjoying the peacefulness of the property . There is a local store for some amenities close by but for a larger shopping trip you’ll need to drive about 30 minutes. We did take a nice drive one day to go on a moose hunt and we’re actually naughty enough to see a moose. Other than that we did not see much wildlife this trip most likely due to the heat wave and animals were probably sheltering in the shade. The house is only an hour and a half from Mount Washington so we took that trip as well one day. If you are into micro breweries, there are three in the Sunday River area which is not far away. Debra is an outstanding host, with excellent communication before during and after our stay. We hated to leave and hope to come back again someday.

Awesome stay
Loved the place!! I stayed there for almost a month. Beautiful views, loved the porches. I would sit on the porch at night listening to the birds while the sun went down. Owners are lovely people.

Cozy cabin in the mountains
We had a great stay in the cabin. Its private enough to feel secluded, but very close to a number of ski mountains. Great toasty wood stove! We enjoyed walking the trails behind the house. Also appreciated that they plowed the driveway during a storm while we were there. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful cabin
We had a great time at Mountain View cabin. We stayed here for almost 2 weeks in February.
This is a beautiful cabin in a great location with amazing mountain views. The trail leading to the national forest starts from the backyard. Also, there is a long driveway from the main street, so we could have our dog off leash.
Debra's cabin is spacious and cozy, with the comfortable beds, nice kitchen, and cozy sitting area with wood burning stove.
There is a high speed internet, so I was able to work remotely couple days.
Debra was very helpful and responsive, available at all times whenever we had any questions and checking in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed.
Definitely highly recommended! Hoping to come back in a summer time.
Thank you Debra for the wonderful stay!

Great cabin, Great host
I highly recommend this cabin. It had everything my wife and I needed. We stayed here for almost a week. The property was clean and secluded. Snowmobile/snowshoe trails lead right from the back in the property. It's close to Sunday River if you ski/ride. Communication with the property manager was amazing. She was very kind and attentive to our needs. Any questions were answered almost immediately and she made us feel very welcome. We would consider staying here again. I highly recommend.

Last Minute Getaway
We were getting stir crazy at home and booked this cabin with two days notice. It was the perfect change of scenery. The cabin was very clean and easy to keep clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The wood stove was great and there was plenty of wood to keep the fire going. We kept the kids busy during the days sledding, skiing, and snowshoeing around the yard and out the path to the snowmobile trail. Communication was great with the hosts.

Beautiful mountain getaway!!
My girlfriend and I found exactly what we were looking for; a secluded mountain cabin close to ski resorts and a wood burning stove. The cabin has a great open concept layout with new furniture and a small but newly remodeled bathroom. Deb was a very responsive host, kept the wood stocked and even had a fire going when we arrived. We definitely will be going back, loved our stay!
