Aging facility, bathroom was not great, room wasn’t ready at check in time. Grounds are beautiful.

A charming old (1805) inn with gorgeous views of the White mountains. Our Host was very attentive and breakfast was delicious.

Rose was great and accommodating to us. Communication was great so if we needed to adjust the room temperature she was on it right away. The room was spacious and the bed was quite comfortable! Unfortunately we were up and out too early to have breakfast, but I have read great things about it! Overall, it was a peaceful stay and we had a great time in Maine.

The stay was great, only one night, room very comfortable. Inn is exactly what they say on their website. The owners were very accommodating and provided a quick tour before I headed to my room. In the morning the views from my room were fabulous. The breakfast was exceptional. I’m sure in late summer/ fall the outdoor space would be very welcoming but I stayed mid November and it was a bit chilly.

Rose was a lovely host and a fantastic chef. Our breakfast was amazing. However, the house is old with heating controls outside of our room that controls the whole floor. The decor was questionable and not appropriate with naked women at in the bedroom and the dining room. Not our cup of tea. There was a Bambi weaved rug in our room that was very inconvenient for luggage and not comfortable to walk on I tried to take a picture of the sunset and the windows were too dirty to get a picture. It advertised that dinner was available but it was not and restaurants are at least 20 min. Away. The home is isolated in a small town with no amenities. We would not stay there again unfortunately because we really liked Rose.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-day stay at the historic inn. And Rose is an outstanding chef. The breakfasts were especially a delight for us and the other couple traveling with us.

This B&B is a delight and I hope to visit again. The room was well-appointed and clean. In particular, the bathroom was well-stocked with complimentary items, better than some major hotels I've stayed at. The manager greeted me and showed me to my room when I checked in, and provided keys to the room and front door. The door locks are somewhat troublesome to use. The bed was amazing. I do regret I couldn't accommodate their limited breakfast hours because I bet it was delicious. The property is well-kept and quite scenic. I would have loved to sit in the garden with a glass of wine, but I was only in the area for the night before continuing my travels. If you're in the area to visit Ebenzer's, this is the best place to stay, hands down. Rose is running a gem of a bed and breakfast.

The Center Lovell Inn is so lovely! We only stayed for one night but I wish it were more. The room was comfortable and absolutely charming. It had everything we needed. The main Inn building was also very comfortable and homie. Breakfast was INCREDIBLE. Gardens on the grounds are outstanding and there is a gorgeous lit up outdoor area that would be wonderful day or night.

Since this was our first trip to Maine we got the overall feeling of how unique Maine is with the land, lakes and architecture. The Inn of Lovell gave us that natural experience.
Our only negative would be when we came down for breakfast each day we would have liked some heat. We wore our coats to have an absolutely delicious meal. Rose was wonderful and a gracious hostess/owner. Hopefully, we will return soon.

I was unable to use the room because I came in close proximity to a friend that became very sick with covid19. I let the Lovell Inn know and was told that I would be charged for the entire amount regardless. I’m spreading this word to everyone I know so they won’t stay at the Lovell Inn.

The owner Rose is so personable and welcoming . We needed to check in a little early to prepare for a wedding we were attending. She had the room ready when we arrived. She was still walking the grounds when we returned from the wedding and asked about the wedding . At 7:45 am she served us an amazing breakfast .

We had a wonderful stay here! The inn is comfortable, inviting, and clean. The service was friendly and professional. Breakfast was delicious and they even accommodated our one-year-old with a high chair. Our room had everything we needed and was so lovely. The area is beautiful and so peaceful. We highly recommend and hope to be back soon.

Great location, especially if one is planning on going to the Fryeburg Fair. Also, we have family nearby on the Five Kezars so this location is quite convenient when visiting them.

Everything was excellent! The breakfeast was great! Our room was on the street side, and unfortunately we found the traffic very noisy.

Our room was miserable. It smelled like mold and was very drafty, the floor was so sloping it was hard to walk. The bathroom was filthy. Black hairs and dirt all over the floor. The bed was not a queen (as advertised) but a full and hard as a rock. The only saving grace was the breakfast it was wonderful. Please review this property before renting it to others.

Excellent service and amazing breakfasts in this charming Inn. Rose and Prince made my weekend feel like a quick vacation with family. My only suggestion would be a wifi booster! It would be nice to be able to have cell phone coverage but short of that internet is helpful. Beautiful setting and charming atmosphere. Will stay again if I’m in the area!

Our first trip to Maine led us to the Center Lovell Inn and we were so pleased that this is where we spent five totally relaxing days. We stayed in the cottage adjoining the Inn with a private bathroom, Everything was very clean, small refrig in the room, and comfortable bed and pillows. Rose is a wonderful host and we enjoyed visiting with her during our stay. Her breakfasts were wonderful, colorful and delicious. It was a pleasure to go to the dining room each morning to see and taste what she had prepared. We especially enjoyed the banana pancakes topped with fresh, local strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. An omelet with fried potatoes, sausage that had a maple flavor, and fresh fruit was wonderful. Five days there and five wonderful breakfasts. A hiking trail is close by that gives a wonderful view of the New Hampshire mountains. We stopped at the local historical museum down the road which was a gem and gave us much appreciation of those who settled the area. The antique store across the street was open on the weekends and very reasonable. We enjoyed traveling the roads and the beautiful scenery of woods, lakes and mountains. We also drove about 75 minutes into Portland for a day of sightseeing. I would love to come back and enjoy the peace and quiet of this natural setting again. We really appreciated the hospitality that Rose demonstrated. It was like we were staying in someone's home and we were!!

The room was not comfortable at all and each time a car passed from nearby road it would wake us up because of the noise. Also we were not informed we had to share a bathroom at the time of booking. This was not acceptable at all. Only savior was the breakfast which was nice and served hot. Definitely not worth 130 bucks i paid for 1 night

Wasnt aware from website registration that bathroom was shared with another room. No TV, no cell coverage, WiFi in main lodge only. Our building needs major renovation of loose & crumbling plaster. Out of code extension cords running fan & refrigerator.

Solo weekend getaway and I could not have chosen a better place for it. The owner, Rose, made me feel at home right away. My room was cosy, clean and just what I was hoping for...quiet! While it is in the middle of nowhere so to speak, there is plenty to do if you want. To top it off, the food was phenomenal! Had breakfast both mornings and dinner my last night. Rose is a fantastic chef! She and her husband, Prince, have a wonderful place. I am looking forward to another stay...solo or not!

This is a diamond in the rough. If you like a place far from the madding crowd, no TV, no cell svc, but exceptional hospitality and cuisine with a grassroots eclectic flare...this is your place! Kezar Lake close by, intimate beach, and great local antique shops. Dont miss Ebenezers Tavern down tbe road@

I selected the Center Lovell Inn because I wanted to visit with my relatives who were camping in the area. It was the closest location to their site and was about the only lodging that would fit into my budget, so I did not have high expectations. What I found out to my delight, is that the Center Lovell Inn is a destination in itself. It is absolutely lovely and charming. I did share a bath because it was the most economical, and I do miss not having television in my room, but the ambiance and extras far out-weighed those factors. The room was charming, very clean and provided a mini-fridge so I was able to have some light food on hand. WIFI is available, although the service is iffy due to the White Mountains. However, I enjoyed sitting in the inviting and comfortable common room where my WIFI signal was much stronger, and was able to watch my Netflix at night with ear-buds as I sipped my wine. The breakfast is sumptuous and made with lovely, fresh ingredients. Rose asked about my dietary limitations and accommodated me, and still prepared a breakfast beyond expectations. She was also very helpful in giving me assistance in finding my way around. Within 24 hours I had fallen in love with the Inn as well as the location. I live in Florida, so a trip back to Center Lovell Maine is not easily done, but I will recommend this special destination to friends and hope to be able to return,.

The B&B has been around for a while. The former owner had a contest and the lovely couple Rosie and Prince won the contest. The rooms could use some updating but the bed was firm and comfy. Rosie is a chef and breakfast was absolutely delicious. Both she and her husband are warm and welcoming to their guests. It was a great stay! We wish them all the luck in there endeavors!!!!

This was a Nice Inn to stay at. Older property, but nicely maintained. A really nice breakfast was included and a nice view from the hotel. Our room was good except for a very squishy section of the floor. I felt like I might step through it any minute. If your looking for brand new 5 star hotel look elsewhere, but if you are looking for a charming Inn with nice owners and a nice experience, I would Recommend the Center Lovell Inn.
