Welcome to Mansfield. Home of Shawshank prison, Mid Ohio Sportscar course, Inkarceration music restival, Snow Trails ski resort and so much more. We LOVE all things 70's! The music, the toys, the decor, the furnishings, and our beloved oil rain lamp too. Experience the things that made this decade iconic. Listen to our extensive music collection on both vinyl and 8 track. Check out our View Master collection as well as tour huge collection of vintage board games, and Fisher Price Little People you remember from your childhood. Relax with a good book from our "free library" or sit down to game of Battleship We feature a step free environment, a FULLY stocked hot beverage bar (coffee, tea, hot chocolate) with all the extras. Enjoy fresh eggs for breakfast from our free range hens from our farm next door in shades of blue , green and brown. We are conveniently located just off the interstate near Snow Trails Ski Resort. đWe are dog friendly with a fee of $50 per dog per stay. No weight/size restriction. This was one of the best VRBO stays we've had! The decor was whimsical and fun, the unit was very clean and bigger than we'd expected, and the coffee bar and included items were so thoughtful.
The area is quiet, yet still very close to Mansfield.

We stayed here for a local event we were attending with our dogs. The host was very gracious and left a goodie bag for them! Would stay here again

They went above and beyond!! My one and only issue was i did not see a hot tub...that said, if it was further away outside, i might have missed it given the time of year...they more than made up for it in accommodations, though! And, like i said, maybe it was an issue on our end!!

My wife and I traveled from Granville to Mansfield to have dinner at Prohibition at the Caves. The property was beautifully decorated, very clean, perfect amount of room to relax. It was stocked better than any property I've ever rented from VRBO! Literally everything you might need. I'm going to tell friends about this experience, they need to see it!

Just walking in the door we were welcomed by the whimsical fun 70âs decor and goodies for us AND our dog. Back to the 70âs made us feel like kids again! In between tours of the Renaissance Theatre and Ohio State Reformatory we read the various magazines and played with the toys that brought us back to our youth. Nothing is left undone here, from the games to the farm fresh eggs to the list of things you can see in Mansfield, plus brochures on EVERYTHING nearby, this place is a true gem! Bob and Barb are the most wonderful hosts. Highly recommend if you come to Mansfield!!!

My husband and I love to stay in fun and unique places when we travel and this definitely fit the bill! Barb and Bob have thought of every amenity. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip in time back the 70s and had a blast playing the games and sipping tasty coffee.

Super fun, everything you could need is provided from snacks to mouthwash. The host makes it a point to welcome you for the occasion of your visit. However, there is an odor in the bedroom. I guess the fact that dogs are welcome would probably explain it. I wasnt prepared. We sprayed febreese often and it helped. Just be aware if you have a sensitive nose or arent an animal person. The place is so clean and welcoming - it didnt make sense to us at all. We had so much fun with the toys and all the snacks too.

This house was amazing! We enjoyed all of the 70s items and feeling like we had stepped back in time. Barb included so many extras! She had anything you could ever need in the bathroom, the hot drink bar was out of this world (I have never seen so many choices!), she also offered movie night snacks! We were so surprised to open the fridge to see a dozen farm fresh eggs. They were delicious! Barb also left gift bags for us! So thoughtful! Her house was in a great location so close to downtown Mansfield, but in a very quiet spot. We had a great time!

My husband and I stayed for our 16th anniversary. We were welcomes with a "Happy Anniversary" sign. When we entered there was a card and wine left for us! We loved all the decor and everything about our stay! Thank you so much. Also close to everything....within 10-15 drive to the things we planned. Luckily, Walmart is 5 minutes away because not only did I forget things but a few pieces of clothing lol I guess I was too excited to think.

This was a surprise for my sister and daughter. When they walked in their jaws dropped, they loved the feel and decor. We were able to cook dinner, play games and spend time together as a family. Very convenient location to sight see in Mansfield. Host was quick to communicate and answer questions. We loved our stay in the throwback 70âs house! Highly recommend!

So far, this has been my most favorite VRBO stay!! The house was exactly what we expected and more.
I think we missed out on the fresh eggs and the garden,but there was little time for that.
Barb had is well prepared for the Inkcarceration Festival with her famous survival kits! She really thought of E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. If I could, I'd book this place now for every INK to come!

The decor was right on par. The property owners were amazing. They even delivered to our door, fresh eggs from their chickens and gave my son a birthday card. To add to that my son adored one of the decors and she offered my son one the homeowner had in storage made his day. Super friendly, very clean. Hospitality was amazing. Definitely recommend it and if youâre bringing a dog, the yard is quite large our dog had the time of his life having that big of a yard to run in.

Place was spotless clean, very well stocked, exactly as described.
No problems whatsoever. Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful area in country but literally just a minute or two to highway, food, shopping etc. lots of recreational things to do in this area and this is a great location to make your base camp.
A minor note: I have terrible allergies and a auto immune disorderâŚthis Vrbo is in a basement of a home and has the normal slight musty basement smell that nearly every home in OHIO or the Midwest will have. While it slight it is noticeable but it did not affect me at all.
Some folks these days freak out about such thingsâŚif it were a problem it would have affected me for sure.
It did not. I would recommend and stay here again. And all the cool 70âs stuff was a treatâŚgames, magazines, and comic books, etcâŚvery cool.
Perfect if youâre coming to Mid OHIO Sports car course for a race etcâŚ

A perfect quiet location but close to a lot of Central Ohio attractions. Nostalgic 70's vibes throughout with perfect thoughtful amenities to make the stay comfortable and like home. The owners were great too and felt like immediate friends! Will definitely return!

Absolutely loved the place, quiet & peaceful. Was impressed with all the little extras. Everything I needed from a doggie welcome basket with blanket treats & toys that I forgot down to basic food & drinks. I was on a business trip that started bumpie so I was very grateful to have these basics on hand to hold me over till I could get to the store. We got to talk with the owners so it was just like visiting with friends. We will definitely be revisiting this location for a vacation trip.

We enjoyed hiking different trails around Mohican State park with our dog. Wonderful to have a pet friendly place to stay near the park and restaurants in Mansfield.

I let Barb know my son's birthday was Saturday and she had a birthday greeting banner, a card, and small gift waiting. Everything you could imagine in throw-ins: bottled water, toiletries, instant oatmeal, panchos, snacks and candies. Really very thoughtful and accommodating. The decor, mags, toys, etc. brought me back to visits at my grandparents' house in the 70s. We streamed the NHL playoffs on Saturday evening on the smart TV. The TV remote batteries were dead but no problem--- I found some spare batteries in less than a minute because they were exactly in the first drawer I looked, right where you would expect them to be. The house was extremely quiet, clean, and beds were comfortable. This was exactly what we needed for the weekend. Thanks Barb and Bob!
