1) Ants in the Great Room. Didn't bother me but my wife and kids do not like bugs in the home. I had to run to Harris Teeter to purchase insect blocker.
2) I found Band aid in the outdoor shower
3) Sand throughout the house
4) Closet for the master bedroom was locked. My elderly parents had to use random things like chairs and tables etc... to hang their clothes.
5) Found a dead (very stinky) crab in the pool. Pool also had lots of sand. Kids didn't want to swim.
6) The Beach wasn't pretty. My party didn't go in the water.
5) Property Management company was unresponsive after a couple initial requests.
I booked a quick trip, without reading the reviews, to celebrate my mother's birthday. In hindsight I wish I had read some of the reviews. This place is decent for a young group of kids looking to have a good time but for a family that it used to cleanliness, this property would not work.
The place is being managed by a property management company which clearly doesn't treat the home like its own. I recommend to the owner. Switch out property management companies. Definitely switch out cleaning companies, at the least. Home also needs updating.

We had a great time. It was quiet and cozy. We did get to see dolphins jumping out of the water in our view from the house. We also seen crabs that were very cool looking. The only thing I didn't like upon our arrival was there were two doors left unlocked which was a concern. Other than that it went well

My husband and I with our 2 sons (7 and 9), along with my parents stayed at the house for a week over spring break March 2024. We really enjoyed our stay regardless of the weather not being so great. We used the pool table, the basketball hoop (bring a ball if you would also like to use it though) and the hot tub daily. We were a bit disappointed when we arrived and discovered that the pool was not opened, as promised. Coast Reality remedied the issue in a few days, however, and once the weather got better we were able to use it. We greatly appreciated it! The house is wonderful and very spacious. The kitchen is pretty well stocked, but I would recommend bringing things like hand soap, beach/pool towels, all paper products and even a hairdryer. Thanks for a great week! We would return again!

The house was very nice. One bathroom could use updating and the half bath outside was kinda scary-but worked!! Pool was nice and good size and the walkway to the beach was great! The sand was SO HOT several days but made the water feel so good!! The rental people are quite frugal with the supplies so just assume you need to bring your own-even salt and pepper. And tip is just wash the linens when you get there or use for exfoliation.

Amazing Property - Very well maintained! You can not beat the layout of the home, the size of the pool, the parking, and the Beach Access!!!! We had a couple repair instances while at the home, but they were there and FAST!! Communication for this property was perfect and we just could not get over how it fit our LARGE party super well! The property is beautiful and the location was ideal. The house was not dirty but there were some oversights in cleaning the floors. I would recommend updating the coffee maker as well. Aside from these 2 minor things we encountered this is a fantastic property and we would definitely stay here again with our entire family!!

Our party thoroughly enjoyed this beach house. The proximity to the beach and the living spaces were perfect for our joint family vacation with four adults and four teens. The property was clean and well-appointed for eight guests. The decks were fantastic, especially the beach facing ones. The 'sunset' deck was a little dirty but nothing we couldn't deal with.
The only elements of dissatisfaction with the property was the number of maintenance issues we dealt with. First was the inability to turn lights on in the garage/hot tub/BBQ area; turns out there was a short in the wires. After diagnosing the problem, it was resolved quickly. Second was that the hot tub wasn't holding water. Luckily the pool man came and was able to fix the problem on his return trip. Third was the pool heater, which was never able to be fixed during our stay. The pool was a big reason we chose this property so not being able to use it was disappointing. All in we had maintenance people visit the property 6-8 times during our stay, which wasn't ideal, thankfully, they were all polite and as undisruptive as possible.
All that said, we would stay here again.

We are very happy with our stay at Victoria's View. Our Air BNB was more than disappointing and we had trouble locating a back up until we contacted Coast Realty. They were able to get us into a house at the last minute and for a very reasonable price. While the house definitely needs a serious update on the decor within the house, some drywall repairs need to be completed and we missed having a Keurig, it was comfortable and accommodating.

VERY POORLY MANAGED PROPERTY!
This property was not cleaned properly upon check-in, there were dead crabs in the pool (5!) upon our arrival, the hot tub wasn't working, one of the a/c units was not functioning properly, and there are a lot of deferred maintenance issues. Never again!

Victorias View
This was our first time using VRBO. We had a fantastic experience! The property was gorgeous. We enjoyed the house, the hot tub and the beach. It was a cool, windy week or else the kids would have been in the pool. We would definitely use VRBO again!

Good Views, Quiet Street, Awesome House
We stayed for a week and really enjoyed our time. Loved the private access to the beach and views from the deck. The top floor was awesome and I loved the split level for the bedrooms. We had a blast and would totally go back!

50th Birthday Beach Break
The online process was very easy. Entry into the home was exceptional. Heather, the property manager was excellent. I called twice with concerns that were handled expeditiously. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the shower stalls. I did did find several areas of built up grime on the floor and walls. The area around the hot tub definitely needed policing. There was built up debris on the cover and all round the tub, which included discarded disposable gloves. There was also sand inside the tub.

Our stay was quite nice and the place was clean in terms of kitchen, bedding and baths. However, the home is in need of some attention with air filters, peeling ceilings, outside wood deteriorating, etc. Also, the agreement indicates pool and hot tub are serviced and cleaned prior to arrival which was clearly not true as both were not working. We never got to use the pool and were without the hot tub for 3 days and did not receive a refund for this.

This is our 5th year renting this house and it never disappoints. Great location,, wonderful amenities and very clean More! More issues with Beach Realty this year than tears past, but the house is great except the owners need the mount the dishwasher so it runs correctly and renters, PLEASE STOP taking kitchen items! 5 years ago this kitchen was fully stocked, each year it gets worse and we even leave Tupperware, knives and platters! Beautiful house with gorgeous views and tons of room!

It’s very hard to review during this time due to worker shortages and Covid fall out. Overall the house was great for a week at the beach. There were a few issues, however the property managers stepped up when notified. A wonderful family retreat, location very good..we all had a blast!

This home is in a great location - just few minutes from the center of Duck and steps away from the beach. The kitchen and master bathrooms were fantastic. The views from the back decks were great. The condition of the front balcony wasn't great - with a little TLC, this area could be a great spot to watch the sunset. The pool and pool deck were a great size and provided shade in the heat of the day. Overall it was a nice beachfront home.

We loved Victoria's View - location, design of rooms, pool size. Several things: - the dirty linen outside was disgusting. - the overall place needs some TLC. - the rental company was extremely responsive to our concerns.(dishwasher, dryer, and ice maker broke while we were there.)

We stayed here for 5 nights in the spring and truly enjoyed the experience. The home is well appointed, well located and very spacious. Easily the best part is the top floor great room and deck overlooking the ocean. Plenty of room for everyone to cook, eat, watch the Masters (go Tiger!), play games and generally enjoy themselves while being together.
