BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to weather, heavy surf, strong currents, and tides. Due to Maui’s rural setting, you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Maui is in a tropical climate. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.
**We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. Any such disturbance shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment. By booking your stay with us, you accept that Host is not liable for any inconveniences arising from any temporary defect or stoppage in supply of water, electricity, air conditioning or plumbing that is beyond their control. Spacious, clean, and quiet! This gem was perfect for our family vacation. This family of four (70s+ and mid 30s) found the property well maintained and the rental big enough for us to spread out and enjoy Aloha-style life. Breathtaking views of the ocean, clean and comfortable beds, and easy access to many beautiful beaches make this quiet getaway one of our favorite rentals.

My family and friends enjoyed our stay. The view to the beach front was simply spectacular. I’m sure we saw a turtle each time were in the balcony. Closest beach was just a few min walk away. Stay provided 6 beach chairs and 6 beach towels that really convenient. We used the couch as a third bed and it was comfy enough to get a good sleep. The shower bath in the guest room did not drain the water. It drains slow enough for the water would stay around ankle high. The stay did not have any AC, but the beachfront waves and multiple fans made it comfortable enough to sleep through the night with no covers. Property management communicated in a timely manner with any questions we had. All in all we enjoyed our stay, it was the view to the ocean though that really heightened our experience. We would definitely come back again.

Overall was a great stay! We loved the ocean front views and the pool! The decor and furnashing were tastefully decorated.
The smoke alarm went off during our stay. The response to fix smoke alarm was very quick and the staff was very courteous and respectful. They ended up installing a new smoke alarm to fix problem.
Here are some things we noticed and some suggestions:
Bathroom with bathtub:
- Loose shower faucet
- Clogged shower drain, slow draining
- Sink drain unattached
- Drywall above toilet cracking
- Loose Toilet seat
- Bathtub needed a deep clean. We noticed Orange mold and buildup
Kitchen:
- Dishwasher door hitting wall when opened
- Drawer with silverware hitting oven door
- Need more plates
Master bathroom:
- Screen door does not lock
- Shower door sticking and needs new handle
- Shower stall needed deep cleaning. We noticed orange mold and buildup
- Needs more kitchen essentials like more silverware, salt and pepper, sugar etc. Some condiments like would be nice.
- Kitchen and bathrooms needs updating.

I have no problems with the unit or management. I just wished the there was a beach and that the unit was larger. I fully understand that management has no control over the ocean beating away the shore line. I would have no problem renting here again, just in a larger unit.

We stayed from 1/27/24 to 2/2/24. On 1/31/24, we were at the beach with the children when I received multiple calls and texts from Maui Paradise Properties requesting to install a refrigerator that morning. I replied that I would prefer for them to wait until after we vacated the premises. I was informed that the fridge would be installed anyway. I replied that I thought this was inappropriate, and received the reply, "Mahalo for your understanding." We arrived home from the beach to discover multiple workers in the kitchen. All of our groceries had been removed from the fridge and the ice cream had melted. All the ice was thrown out. This was at the time we were trying to feed the toddlers lunch. The workers left, and a couple of hours later while the entire family was sleeping for an afternoon nap, someone from Maui Paradise Properties came to deliver a gift card and stood at the front door yelling, "Is anyone home?!?" repeatedly, awakening the toddlers from their nap.
In summary, maintenance was performed on the apartment on 1/31/24 which was highly disruptive to our stay. I contacted guest relations asking for a refund on that date and have not heard further.

I rented this property for the view which was awesome. Great price for property. Great view from the bedrooms and the living room. Older property, quiet, nice neighbors. Cons: no beach, (there is a beach 5 minutes down the road) lack of dishes and silverware, no salt, pepper, spices. Not much in walking distance as far as restaurants and things to do. As you get closer to Kaanapali there is more of everything. All and all the place is good, but don’t expect a lot of frills.

I loved the location of the resort. Even though they didn't have air conditioning it was perfect. Loved having a washer and dryer in the condo. Beds were very comfortable as well!!!!

Nice location, clean and convenient. Close to the ocean, so could hear the waves and watch whales and turtles! Totally relaxing! Facilities were well kept and safe. Will definitely stay again!

Perfect location, we were able to explore all areas of the island from our homebase. The ability to sit right on the ocean and view whales, turtles and rainbows daily was spot on.

Let me start with the view is as good or better than the pictures! We arrived around 4 pm, by 5 pm we were watching whales. We ended up seeing whales at least half of the days there. We didn't see a turtle until late in the week and we ended up seeing 2. The unit itself is dated and could use an updating. You should have everything you need minus food while there. If you rent a vehicle, FYI, parking is tight. Yes, we would go back.

The property was very clean. Ocean views were beautiful. Peaceful sound of ocean at night. Pool was kept very clean. Washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board very handy.

We were pleasantly surprised. The view from the lenais (balconies) were amazing, you can hear the ocean crashing against the beach I (which can take some getting used to), the pool was clean and the whole unit was beautiful. We loved that there were a few of our favorite restaurants within a short walk. A++ We definitely will be looking to return.

This place is great in many ways. View, location, proximity to beach, layout etc. The biggest negative is no a/c, and broken screen door. We knew it didn’t have a/c before we booked. We won’t make that mistake again. Fans were provided, but still needs a/c. Also, needs some maintenance like a new screen door for the lanai. It fell right off the first time we opened it and was the main way out to the lanai. Management company did not respond to all texts. The property was in transition from old to new management.

Enjoyed our stay. The property has beautiful views from both balconies and was very comfortable. We would certainly consider returning in the future.

This was our first trip to Maui and we had the most amazing time. We booked HL-B204 through the Maui Paradise Property. We loved that we could open the doors and hear the ocean. (Great sleep machine, Lol.) The view was just amazing, we had a rainbow at least 2 of the mornings during our stay. Great snorkeling area just out back of the complex. We saw turtles, an ell and puffer fish. This unit was very well kept and well furnished from towels to base necessities in the kitchen. Washer and dryer was a decent size, not your typical small apartment washer and dryer.
