3* family-friendly, all-inclusive, no fuss space. Nothing luxurious but affordable, comfortable option with friendly staff.,
The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We requested a 2 bed bedroom via booking.com they did not receive the request but found a room without fuss when we arrived.
Great location - 5 minute drive from the airport.
The beachfront with the grill was lovely and picturesque.
The room was clean with great AC - it was actually too cool in the room at one point even with the AC off.
Breakfast was great, fresh made to order omlette was available, bacon and french toast as well as usual Jamaican options (saltfish fritters ), continental - fruit, cereal and yogurt too.
Lovely grounds - pool, beach front and nice seating areas dotted all around the property.
We would stay again due to location (near airport) and beach access and helpful front desk staff.
The shower head was busted/old so water splattered everywhere and didn't mix hot and cold well. Made it especially difficult for the little one (4) to take a shower.
Took long for them to bring towels - this may have been because the room wasn't prepared for us when we arrived and they moved us at the last minute.

I definitely enjoyed the beach side , you walk across the street they do provide a crossing guard. Once over at the beach there a bar and life guards and the section is blocked off where you can only go out so far. It’s a beautiful view.
The room we had the back door knob was broken along with the door. We immediately told the front desk because there’s a $100 deposit you pay, with the room we had the music playing at night echos and with an open door it just made it worse. The music played is extremely loud, the food was bad not every many options it is the same thing every day for breakfast lunch dinner you know what your getting every day. It takes them a long time to replace food that was finished. The food was a little on spicy side the deserts were nasty. We didn’t have a blanket in our room we called front desk through the phone in the room no answer then called the what’s app number given and text as well no answer. Went downstairs and asked for a blanket and they never sent one finally next morning house keeping came around she was able to give us one by the afternoon time. The gift shop on site was EXTREMELY expensive. $32 for sun screen 50 for a 8oz or smaller bottle. Bring exact change he claims he never has change and won’t give you money back.

Food was good, operational staff were very helpful and polite.
Upon checkin I moved room 3 times. 1st room was incorrect configuration - I booked 2 double beds not one. 2nd room had ants crawling all over the bedside table. 3rd room was OK but there was a burned out dressing-table stool and you could see the slats on the base bed so the mattress / base bed linen didn't cover it appropriately.

Plenty of choices for food and drink throughout the day.
The beach food as in the Jerk chicken could of been heated up a bit more.

Area, approximately to the beach and main strip, the food, staff, size of room.
Small tv with what appeared to be one channel only. Weird.
3.8
It had beautiful gardens
Most of the staff didn't seem to want to work, and we were constantly treated like we were a nuisance. The rooms were very basic, the bathrooms were gross and our toilet broke. The food was appalling, poor choice and ran out all the time which they didn't replenish. It wasn't particularly child friendly and hardly any of their equipment worked in the gym.

The property was very nice and clean
The communication was a little off

I like everything it was the perfect stay for the price, food was amazing.

I thought for the price and stay it was an affordable deal
When I first arrived i felt really hott and not feeling well
So I had to wait under fan for another 30 min.
Since I did have my pass I found out the day after that the gym had ac and wish they had suggested that as I was waiting for my check in time since I felt dehydrated and really warm after I arrived. If I knew the gym had ac I would have waited the 30 min in there on treadmill

Great staff convenient location for airport good meals good options for meals. Nice beach and pool. Convenient shop onsite to buy things you have forgotten. Good sea views from room.
A bit noisy but manageable by closing the room balcony doors.

This was 1st time in Jamaica so I don’t have anything to compare to but I love the property it gave you real Jamaican feel. If you looking for something more American then this isn’t for you. The staff was very professional at all times(to many to name). Tour guy Kevin was great. Plus also it Jamaican own

The staff was great especially Latoya was awesome! Room was really clean (only a few ant expected since the balcony door was open). The check in was very long the room was not ready until close to 5pm. We received the band to eat and enjoy the resort until ready.
The shower would drain slowly. The variety of good could be better. If you want bacon on morning ask lol. Also if you want early cocktails it doesn’t have until 10:00! lol The entertainment could be better. Still ok. The beach by far was peaceful and the DJ and staff cooks over there are amazing! Clean clean clean clean! The shuttle did not pick us ! Use gate 5 they would get there. Don’t be afraid to bring cash for tipping.

We really enjoyed the private beach and non-motorized activities available. The room ACs worked great and kept us cool. The resort space is quite spacious and has potential.
The website and pictures were not fully representative of the reality. I really wish, and recommend, that guests receive a packet upon check-in with hotel information such as check-out details, food and entertainment times, recommended taxi providers, FAQs, hotel map, etc..
The resort is currently under renovations so one half of the resort has older rooms (get in with an actual key and older furniture) while the other half is more upgraded (key card and renovated bathroom)- something to keep in mind when reserving a room.
In the room, the TV wasn't great (static and audio was distorted), three pillows for 2 people was not enough for us (even though we requested more, we did not get them), room service cleaned our room but did not replace towels (make sure to ask).
In general, while resort is all inclusive keep in mind the liquor is bottom shelf and most drinks were on the sweet side. Food was solid but breakfast was generally the same so after a few days (we were there for 5) it got boring.
Montego Bay is beautiful and fun but excursion sites are quite far so plan accordingly.

The beach lagoon area was beautiful.
Very dated and uncomfortable. Toilets and sinks were so low to the ground and hard to use. The staff were very unfriendly, most of the women. Checking in took about an hour and wasn’t even acknowledged while waiting. This tended to be the trend throughout. Beach area is across the street and as you go across you get hounded by locals wanting to sell you something. Made me VERY uncomfortable. The food was awful and repetitive. There really is only one restaurant and it’s a buffet. They ran out of food quickly and didn’t replenish. We waited for coffee and water for at least 30 min! We were there for New Years and the party they had at the beach was a bust. The live band played elevator music and didn’t read the room as to everyone falling asleep! The DJ at the “disco” on the property didn’t acknowledge any requests. The tours ladies made it seem like it was a chore to help us. Trip advisor had better deals too!

All inclusive and entertainment.
Did not get the room that I booked. Was not compensated for that issue.

Staff is very courteous & helpful. Food was good . I would definitely go back
I wish there were more activities for young people in their 20's but my daughter still had a great time with other guest that she met there . Parts of te beach had seaweed so I spent more time @ the pool.

Pros: The property is quaint and nicely laid out, however it is not being maintained up to par. The dining room staff is mostly friendly, efficient and nice with the exception of the tip-seekers. More on this later.
The food is nice but if you are here more than 3 days everything is repeated and there is zero variety.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the balcony is nice but the bathrooms are not stocked properly. There are not enough towels, shampoo, and other toiletries for even 3 people and you have to keep asking for this.
Here are other positives: The tennis coach is AMAZING. The poolside DJ was excellent. Mileesha in dining was fantastic as well as Kellece. The ladychef at the beachside grill and the omellete makers at breakfast were excellent. The small beach is actually quite fun. It is clean, private and well maintained. The food is mostly tasty but no variety. The nightly entertainment was quite good. However there are no other options to do anything else in case you don't want to watch that.
Also we met a lot of Jamaicans from Kingston staying here, who paid a far, far lower price than the foreigners who are basically subsidizing their stay.
The front desk system is 10 years outdated. Everything still being done on paper, making copies, stapling. This makes checking in a nightmare and in turn, the staff are agitated, stressed and rude, but I blame management for this.
Unfortunately the few positives are not enough for me to recommend this resort to any non-Jamaican tourists.
This place has the potential to be good but at this time I cannot recommend it. I am dissatisfied with my experience and felt the promotion and marketing of the resort was deceiving in many ways.
Cons: Dinner is 7 to 10 pm. BUT, every night, the main entrees run out by 8:15pm and they will not be replaced even if you ask. If you come after 9 pm you will get salad and some scraps. There is only one dining room and there are no other options to eat anything anywhere including even if you go outside because there are no restaurants in walking distance and the area is not safe to walk anyway. You can get a grilled cheese sandwich at the so-called pool-side grill which has the worst food on the resort.
There are numerous people walking around the property, eating, drinking, swimming that don't have wristbands and it is very obvious that they are locals and are not staying at the hotel. Most of them are seen chatting with the staff and are obviously their friends or relatives.
This is an all-inclusive. Which means not have to walk around with a bunch of cash tipping everyone. However the tipping culture in the resort is HORRIBLE. Most of the bartenders, a few of the servers, are looking for tips and if you don't give, they give you a dirty look and are rude.
The bellman at the door is a SHAME. Since our bags were light we were just taking them out ourselves at departure and when we politely refused a bellman he got agitated and sarcastic and loudly started saying "Why don't you want a Bellman? Why not?"
The housekeeping was horrendous. Each night there was some major error. Either there were zero towels or toiletries, or something else not done right. However after the 3rd night we gave a nice tip to the girl and after that the room was cleaned very well every day!
The game room was closed throughout but is still yet deceivingly advertised. So there was no table-tennis, or billiards or any game options. Nothing to do in the evenings.
Literally everyone is trying to rip off North American tourists. From the tour desk, to the taxis, to the gift shop. They want to charge American prices but the service is not anywhere close to it.

the pool could accommodate my baby girl

Lovely hotel close to the airport lovely clean colonial style rooms with very good food and nice friendly staff run by locals far nicer vibe than the usual high chain all inclusive resorts i usually choose for the family with young kids which thankfully didn’t have any rooms available also had own private beach serving drinks and snacks through the day
lunch time could have been longer was only 12 to 2pm could have been till 3pm and not enough bath towels in the rooms for us in the triple but we improvised other than than nothing else was wrong
3.8
it’s very clean and easy to get around
on the beach side, Fri-Sun, it’s very noisy
