The only complaint. Shower was very hot and hard to cool off for my toddler. Over all the location was perfect

For starters, it was totally worth the price we paid! At first glance everything looks fine, but this place is very old, the basement is not finished, the wiring isn't right(we didnt have lights 3 out of 5 days in the master, while many others flickered constantly, bath towels & dish sponge were funkkky. This is our 1st VRBO, so not sure...was I supposed to bring my own-along with some type of cleaning agent such as lysol or bleach? I cooked raw chicken(cut on the tiniest cutting board),nothing to clean with except the open mouth wash left in the bathroom(luckily I brought disinfecting wipes). I would have removed that or atleast put a travel size in there...people are weird in this world---never would I ever use an open bottle of mouth wash at a rental property. Property seemed to be under construction--note:the door with all the dangerous stuff downstairs should be locked, probably with a new door knob--had our kids(15-17) been any younger it would have been an issue because you have a fun pool table right next to it, which we loved! Our first night, first shower downstairs-water leaked all over the floor, which owner said they'd take care of if need be, but we just stopped using it....no biggie--there were two more... but then the toilet stopped flushing correctly... instead of complaining to the owner every few hours I just let it go, its a rental, it's cheap, these are small issues... I just wanted to have a good time with the family without complaining constantly& I did

The owner made the check in process smooth. The owner was not hands-on and gave us plenty of breathing room. All appliances were newer and worked well for us. The back porch was a nice area to get outside and enjoy the nice weather. The basement, once they add beds in each of the rooms will be fabulous! Basement rooms are nice sized/roomy carpeted floors but no working closet, wardrobe shelving or warm/inviting lighting. There is seating in the basement den and a tv so it’s useable if you know what to expect and plan accordingly. We LOVED the location. Stayed a wk due to having meetings at the Convention Center everyday. Very easy on/off the freeway, convenient to a couple shopping centers and at least a dozen different types of eateries. If you’re a coffee drinker, I highly recommend Porter’s Coffee House and Bakery.

We were in the Columbus area for my college graduation and this home fit all of our needs. The property was clean and inviting. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in away from home. Located in a great neighborhood and close to everything. Downtown Columbus was a quick 15-20 minute drive. Highly recommend.

Chemical smell forced us out
Spent around 15 minutes at this property when I began to feel unwell. My elderly mother in law and husband were also impacted. I tried to call vrbo to fix the issue and could not get anyone on the phone. The owners came over and denied there was any smell and said we would get no money back. We had to rent another more expensive property last minute with no help. When I contacted vrbo to address the next day, I was connected with the property owner who later wrote something to the effect that I should feel lucky to get 50% of what we paid him. I did not feel lucky but was astounded at this experience. Vrbo needs to make this right. Very poor customer service.
