A truly vacation escape for family and friends, this house is undoubtedly one of Barbados’s first-rate residences. With beautiful uninterrupted views along the West Coast with its azure sea and clear blue skies. This substantial property is approached along a majestic avenue of Royal Palms.

Infinity House presents over 8,000 sq. ft. of pure style and luxury and is designed by London based architect Alistair Downie (Harper Downie) and built by Guy Counter Berridge, an English bespoke property developer who has made Barbados his home since 2004.

The open plan design is both spacious and practical, featuring 6 en-suite bedrooms, stunning kitchen, dining pavilion, numerous courtyards and balconies, a media room, study, central living pavilion, provision for a gymnasium, garage and 15M infinity-edge swimming pool – all complimented by and nestled within over 0.5 acres of indigenous landscaping, an integral aspect to the architectural design of the property.
Additionally there is a spacious 2-bedroom/2-bathroom guest apartment at garden level which provides the owner a degree of privacy.

St. James is located on the western side of the island and boasts world-renowned hotels, five-star restaurants, private villas and beachside mansions. It is safe to go out at night, safe to use the buses and taxi's and safe to walk around.

Getting Around:
Car rentals are quite popular and are great for those who'd like to adventure the island! However, taxis are also available and can certainly be arranged throughout your stay. Also airport transportation can be arrange from and to the airport at an additional cost.

We wanted to find a place to handle three generations with a pool but access to beaches given we have two infants. The online listing was accurate but when we got the confirmation it showed Curaçao. We found out it was some glitch in the reservations system and that was the only glitch for the stay. The home was beautiful and there were plenty of rooms to allows family groups to have their own space. The views were amazing over the west coast (beautiful sunsets). The home is in a gated community with the gate always open but a separate gate for the property (they provided two openers for use). The only day-to-day concern that was a little tough with you kids was the slickness of the floor and patios (the whole area is stone/tile). They warned us about it and we had no major incidents but a couple of minor ones. The home come with access to the Fairmont Beach club which is a 5 minute drive and has ample parking. They have five membership cards which gets 10 lounges and five umbrellas right on the water. The club has food and drink but be warned they stop food service at 15:00. The home also comes with two housekeepers who were amazing as well as a chef who great and was very accommodating of various dietary needs and pivoting on planning various meals. They were all great with the kids. The home is well located for most of the island other thank the east coast. Many great beaches were close by, hometown was close with easy shopping, many attractions and good restaurants within 20 minutes. We will definitely out this island on our rotation and will also look to stay here again.
