About this house rental
Number Fourteen is a spacious Victorian terrace house, a few steps away from the railway station to Norwich and other public transport links. We are a couple of roads back from the town centre making it so convenient for everything including shopping and eating out but quiet even in the busiest weeks. We are only 6 minutes walking distance to the beach and beautiful cliff walks to the East and West. Our recently modernised holiday cottage is light and airy and well equipped luxury accommodation for 3 people. The lounge has 2 sofas and a TV with FREE to view satellite box and a HDMI cable is provided for access to your own device. Internet is super fast broadband and included. The dining room with table and chairs for 4 leads to the kitchen and utility room. The kitchen is modern and has inbuilt fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob. Microwave, kettle and toaster of course! The downstairs utility and shower room has a washer-dryer, toilet, basin and shower.
Outside is a private and locked west facing courtyard garden accessed by double opening French doors from the dining room making a super safe place for your pet or child . We have outdoor taps with hot and cold water for washing sandy legs and paws!
Upstairs a large master bedroom and small single bedroom are available to sleep 3 comfortably. The large bathroom has a bath and shower with rain shower head.
Sheringham is a delightful Victorian seaside town oozing character and charm. The carnival team organise a range of fabulous fun events throughout the year which are sure to bring a smile. The Forties weekend and Morris dancing Potty weekend are a couple to look out for.
The surrounding countryside is simply stunning and the area is known as North Norfolk’s Deep History Coast following the amazing archeological finds in the region. The beach at low tide is always a wonderful walk whatever the weather (correct clothing may be needed in the colder months !).
On a well established migration route for many birds the area is a must for those interested In nature. This summer we have been lucky to spot some bee eaters.

Lovely cosy, very clean cottage and in a great location.

We loved staying at Number 14. It had everything we needed and was in a great location close to everything in Sheringham. Even our golden retriever did not want to leave!

The house was lovely. It was very comfortable and had everything you could need. It was in a perfect location very close to the town and beach. Parking was a bit difficult but worked out okay in the end.

Decent sized property in a great location with no major parking issues. Property lacked some basic essentials one might expect (e.g., spare toilet rolls and basic cooking ingredients), but otherwise, happy. Of note, it would be better for all if the second bedroom had a small double bed to accommodate 4 guests.

Apart from the weather, everything about our stay was excellent. Good communication with the host, facilities and equipment more than adequate, proximity to shops, restaurants and sea was a bonus.

The house was exactly as described. It was very close to all the towns amenities and the beach, but was also in a quiet location, so the best of both worlds. We had good weather which also made our visit memorable to the Cley and Salthouse saltmarsh wildlife reserve. Sheringham station of the North Norfolk Railway was in easy walking distance and the steam train journey to Holt was also very enjoyable.

Amazing property that has surprisingly large airy spaces and tasteful decoration. Really clever use of space. Very close to the sea and shops and yet remarkably quiet.
Would definitely stay again.

Lovely spacious property. Great communication with the owners. Sheringham is a lovely place & the house was within walking distance to all amenities. The only thing i will comment on is that there was no dressing table/chest of drawers in the bedroom

very good property close to town centre. had all we needed for a very pleasant short break. the main restriction is car parking the streets in the area can be quite full of cars so ne aware if you are moving your car on a regular basis you may not always find a immediately space next to the property when you return.

Excellent all round and we had a lovely time. Property was in an excellent position for all our needs. The only downside was the parking, but we did manage in the end. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Communication with hosts was prompt. Instructions to enter the property were accurate and entry went smoothly. Property is clean and tidy and had all the facilities we needed for our stay. Very comfortable bed meant we all had a good nights sleep each night and the location is very quiet despite being only 2 minutes from the main shopping street. The outside yard/garden is a pleasant place to sit but the outdoor furniture is in need of replacement - not comfortable at all.
We would have appreciated a more comprehensive welcome booklet containing more details. For example, there is a small bakery around the corner were fresh bread/croissants can be obtained each morning and that plus more information such as where the hosts recommend to eat (and not eat) would have been helpful.
All in all we throroughly enjoyed our stay at Number 14 and would recommend it without hesitation.

Thank you!

Very nicely renovated house, with space well used. It is ideally placed for walking into town, about 3 minutes, and is easy to reach other places by car. Parking may be an issue at busy times but we were able to get outside if we came back from a day out after five o'clock ish. However, this is the first holiday rental that we have stayed in that did not provide a welcome pack which we found a little disappointing.

Great property for our 3 night stay; 2 roads back from the centre and nice to have all manner of eateries nearby. Probably the cleanest rental we've stayed in and all the facilities you would need. Great space for a Victorian end of terrace. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend, and communication with polite host exceptional.

We had a perfect 5 day stay in this clean, comfy, well presented and kept house. Nice new modern kitchens and bathroom with lots of character still in place. The bed was comfy and the outdoor space was perfect for a drink in the evening after a long day walking on the North Norfolk beaches. The house is perfectly placed for a short walk into town to do a spot of shopping, catch the steam train to Holt or main line to Cromwr, and of course stop in one of a myriad of cafes, pubs or restaurants along with some great ice cream and Fish & Chip shops! Would definitely stay in this perfect house again and highly recommend.
