Review prior to VRBO listing:
"We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful place to have our first experience of Canadian cottage life. An easy drive from Gravenhurst and perfectly situated to enjoy the most amazing golden hours from many vantage points.
The great room has huge proportions and the screened in eating porch makes entertaining with a large group effortless.
Great property for exploring and easy swimming with a private beach and swim dock.
Kathleen is an excellent host with everything (and more!) that you could need being provided.
Would not hesitate to recommend."

Fabulous property and location in the middle of the woods with easy access to a beautiful lake. The house had everything we needed and we truly enjoyed our stay.

The huge property makes this cottage very private and quiet. The view is amazing, and the lake is wonderful. We got a lot of use out of the watercraft. Cycling, golf and climbing nearby was so much fun. The cottage is very large and well equipped, but the pine floors give it a cottage feel rather than feeling like a house in the city. The screened in dining area is terrific and there was lots of room to spread out for those that had some work to do during the week. Our adult children and their spouses declared this the best cottage ever.

A very tidy and lovely cottage equipped with everything we needed for our stay! We had a group of 14 adults and one toddler and we had more than enough space to be comfortable. This family cottage had thought of everything, some kids toys, gates at the top of the stairs, pocket doors for additional soundproofing and even step stools to help the little one reach the bathroom sinks. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Everyone who stayed with us said the bedrooms were all clean and comfortable.
Great views and pretty much on the water if you are able to do the hike on the stairs.
Kathleen is a great host and very responsive when needed. Very good and detailed in answering any questions before and during our stay.
Some of our group's highlights. Sunroom/screened in porch was awesome for afternoon board games. Floating docks are always fun. The paddleboards provided gave some adventure to those that wanted it. Lots of space: rooms, deck, and beach to spread out and get some reading done too. We really enjoyed our time there.
