The bed was amazingly comfortable and came with six layers of blankets - perfect for a cilly night! The views were spectacular - we could see at least three snow capped mountains - including Cotopaxi.
4.3
Well maintained property
Nothing close to do. Location is secluded. Restaurant is expensive.
4.3
Nice nature view. At least there is a hot bath and a sauna.
No toilet brush. No hairdryer. No shower foot towel. Many personal things were moved away in our room. The SPA is very old and dirty and the steam bath didn‘t worked at all. The price is way to expensive.
4.3
No hot water and SPA on maintenance

The setting is outstanding and the buildings and grounds are quite pretty and well maintained in general (we didn't use the spa, though, so can't comment on that). We've read bad reviews about food but we thought dinner was good and reasonably priced, and breakfast was also OK (not as good as dinner).
If you're up for a 3 to 4h walk, ask about their 12k loop from the hotel: it's an awesome hike around farmland and the views are incredible, highly recommended!
As others mention, we also had issues with the hot water (as in it didn't work). We found out it's a known issue in the main house... but for unknown reasons they still lodge you there w/o any warning, even when other rooms are empty (even if more expensive). The staff knows very well about the issue so it's quite strange they just let you find out and then, well, apologise.

Cotopaxi in area and food. Rooms were good.
Better grounds and bedroom furniture

No heat, broken bathroom light

The room was clean and comfortable. The shower wasn't very powerful or hugely warm. We didn't have time to look around the grounds, but the parking was great and the place seemed nice.
The dinner food is very expensive for Ecuador and incredibly basic for what you pay - think plain boiled pasta with a very basic jarred sauce. Sandwiches were pretty bad. It's the sort of food you make when you're a student. This was the major drawback of the place from our point of view. I would otherwise recommend it.

Competent staff and the restaurant is ok.
Very close from the cotopaxi national park.
- Rained inside the lodge
- Everything extra is to pay (ex: 1$ a glass of purified water)
- it’s not a « Spa bien-être hotel », a jacuzzi is open one hour a day (not working steam-bath, way not warm enough sauna)

The staff and who I think was the owner were very friendly and helped us in everything we needed. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Also the landscape with all the mountains around was very nice. Moreover, the game area was fun, we spent a lot of time playing table tennis. Finaly, the chance to book the wet zones all to ourselves was an amazing detail.
Even though the breakfast was not bad, we had dinner and it was not very good. Maybe it was the dishes we ordered but that could be improved. Also, I guess overall, it is overpriced. With a lower budget we have received the same hospitality from the staff in different comfortable and pretty locations.

Really really beautiful place and the people are so nice! Angie, thank you so very much for everything. We appreciate you so much!

Everything! The staff was incredible (Angie is AMAZING!), the lodge was tranquil and provided exceptional views of the volcanoes, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the food and drinks were very well made with fresh ingredients. We had the absolute best time here and were sad when it was time to leave. We came to celebrate the honeymoon and we have never felt more taken care of at a place than we have here.
Nothing

The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent but very overpriced by Ecuador standards. We had a load of laundry done and it was back the same day.
When we were the only guests, everything seemed to be fine but when more rooms were filled a sewer smell started coming up from the sink. Very unpleasant.

We liked the spa facilities at this lodge nestled in the Andes Mountains but the staff tried to overcharge us for our room, which was not a great experience.
The staff were not super friendly or helpful. Honestly, I wouldn’t come back or stay there again.

The staff made everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We were a party of 10 friends and had a blast staying there. We had some drinks, the staff was always happy to help us with some music and a couple of beers.
The breakfast was ok, the coffee tasted a little weird, I would improve that a little bit as of the location a good coffee in the morning is a must. Other than that. We had an awesome experience with all my friends.

The location was perfect an hour from Quito the stuff are super friendly, excellent food .

The dorm beds are very comfortable- plenty of bedding provided( and a heater!) for the cold nights. Staff were friendly. Lovely grounds.
The location is a little in the middle of nowhere- hardly any restaurants or shops nearby. But it is a very tranquil spot!
Breakfast was OK but could have been a bit more varied. Dinner was pricier than usual.
Spa didn't seem operational or promoted very well
