About this house rental
Beautiful, spacious, fully remodeled lodge, perfect for reunions, family gatherings, or friends looking for an adventure!
This spectacular lakefront home stretches out over 5000 sq ft of living space! As a reunion house, it has all the amenities for your large gathering - it comfortably sleeps over 25 guests, offers a fully outfitted chef's kitchen, boasts spacious, comfortable bedrooms, each with their own smart tv and most with their own fireplace, huge, spa inspired bathrooms with fluffy towels and rainfall showerheads... but, wait...
The entertainment spaces are even better! It is directly on the lakefront with a beach and dock with great fishing, beaching, and boating. It is situated on snowmobile and ATV trails - always ready for a wild ride. Over a thousand acres of public hunting land is right around the corner. And, the ice age trail is waiting for you to hike it! It offers a game room with billiards, foos ball, darts, Big Buck Hunter, and multiplayer arcade, and you can kick back and cheer for your favorite team in a great bar with ample seating, three tv's, and room to hook up your own tap. There is even a toddler corner with toys for the smallest guest!
The lake is fantastic and the property perfect! Larrabee Lake is a full recreational 50+ acre lake, 35 feet deep at the deepest hole - with three other docks on the whole lake… we are the only house on this lake - the fishing is great, the views are amazing, and the peaceful backyard setting encourages relaxation and silly fun at every glimpse... Snuggle around a campfire, paddle out on the kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, or paddle-board… relax along the lakefront; watch the loons float by from one of four porch swings or comfortable patio seating; grab a bite or play a game on one of three octagon picnic tables, or choose a patio with intimate seating to enjoy your morning coffee... and, when you are looking for something more... hop down the street to local restaurants; enjoy the live music and small town feel; jump on the ice age trail for a hike, or take the short venture to Eau Claire or Menominee to enjoy all that these quaint main streets and active college towns have to offer!
Lakefront warning: we have an incredibly beautiful, non-traditional lakefront. There is a great zero entry pebbled beach for toddlers to splash alongside the shore. The channels directly in front of the home (absent the small beach/launch) get quite mucky. But, it’s great for catching small fish and is home to little painted bottom turtles and fun frogs to catch. After you walk along the boardwalk and get to the open water, you can jump off the dock for a quick swim and jump on and slide off our water trampoline. The view is spectacular, the fishing great, the lake private, the kayaking tranquil, and the gathering is always an adventure!
Remember…the Lodge at Larrabee Lake accommodates up to 30 in 5000 sq ft of home on a three-acre property…. Join us, and bring your whole family... there is always plenty space to hang out together and to sneak away by yourself!

Cool property, plenty of space and something for everyone

This place is amazing. We do
A yearly girls cabin trip with our friend group of 30 years. This place is by far the best we have stayed at. The space is laid out great, with the sleeping quarters separated from the rest of the home. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed including multiple refrigerators. The living space was very roomy and accommodating for everyone to relax. The game room had it all with fuse ball, ping pong, arcade games, Big Buck hunter was our favorite, and a lovely pool table. We did have an issue with one of the dish washers not working, and the host responded immediately asking if we wanted to have someone come and look at it. No problem- there were 2 dishwashers-so we were covered. Would live to come back in the summer to check out the beautiful back yard and the lake.
Thank you for sharing this great space!

We had a fantastic time at this cabin. The rooms and everything in them were clean and organized and everything we needed for cooking was readily available in the kitchen. The owner was very communicative throughout the check-in process and even responded to me when i reached out during our stay. It was a short walk to the lake and not far from a gas station for last-minute needs. I thought the price was excessive at first, but it was worth it! The only thing that might be helpful for others to know is that the general public also uses the parking lot and walks through the back yard to access the lake. The master bedroom has a see-through screen on it, so be mindful of people outside looking in.

We had a wonderful stay here this past weekend with family! Great for a large family gathering. Arcade area for everyone, lots of board games, kids corner for the little ones and a bar for the adults! Everything was clean including blankets, linens, towels, and so forth. The place literally had everything we needed from bowls, plates, forks, spoons, pots, pans, and more. The view was beautiful. The teens had a good time kayaking and enjoying the beautiful lake! We enjoy spending time outside by the fire pit and grill and make some s’mores! We didn’t have to contact the host for anything during our stay so that was great! Prior to getting there Steve was great at communicating and getting back to me within an hour. I would totally recommend this place!

We brought in our staff from all over the US to do our annual company retreat. Not only was the living room area large enough to accommodate our group, there was so much more space for games, eating and just hanging out. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your cabin

Amazing property with a ton to do on-site. Easily slept 15 adults with a lot of extra room. Enjoyed the lake and water activities. Would recommend this location to anyone.

We stayed at this house with my husband’s 6 siblings and their families, his parents and our children. There were 24 of us including 8 children under 6. The space was amazing for our needs. The doors to the bedroom area could be closed so that some could be sleeping while others could be up without worrying about noise.
The kayaks, canoes, and paddle board were a wonderful benefit and we’re used countless times. We enjoyed using floaties in the lake to swim near the dock and the water trampoline.
The kitchen was very well stocked with anything we could need to cook meals for the whole group and plenty of dishes for eating. The large dining table was a huge bonus as we could all sit and eat together.
The amount of games (and the arcade games) provided all of the extra activities we would need when a storm rolled through.
Loved our stay and want to go back again!

This place housed our whole big family, four generations, very comfortably. It's a beautiful property and has great amenities inside that kept us all happily entertained. We also did a lot of cooking and the appliances all worked well. The second fridge sure came in handy! The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating.

We had a great time at Larrabee Lodge. There were 18 of us, ranging in age from 10-85. The house was very well supplied with everything we could need. The kitchen included two refrigerators, two ovens and two dishwashers. Tons of utensils, dishes, glasses, etc. There were some spices there, and they even left a few frozen pizzas for us. They provided numerous bath and beach towels, and the bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner and body wash for our use. The owners were available and easy to work with. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The kids loved the game room, and the dock and trampoline were very nice. We also enjoyed the canoe, kayaks and paddle boards. Lots of fish were caught! It was also nice to have everything on one level for the older folks. There were two steps that didn't have a handrail inside the house, which was doable, but maybe not the best for someone who has difficulty walking. The building is very close to the road, and you can hear traffic going by when you are outside; however, we also heard frogs and loons, which was great. The outside area is nice and the lake is beautiful to look at. There is no screened in area outside, which would be nice, due to the mosquitos. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

We travel once a year with extended family. 8 adults, 8 children. We've been to Branson, the Dells, Gatlinburg and this year chose this beautiful property. Plenty of room to spread out, game room that was played non stop. 2 pool tables, big buck, tons of board games, books etc. The toddlers corner was the hit of the week for the 3 littles. The bunk room was great. Bigger kids climbed to the top bunks, sisters picked a double bed and the middle brother got a double bed to himself. Adults enjoyed the bar, and board games. We brought our chef along and he was giddy in the kitchen. 2 ovens, 1 stove top (the kinetic took a little getting used to but he got it.) 2 dishwashers, 2 giant fridge/freezers. More than enough plates, bowls and glassware as well as flatware. Had fun on the paddle boards-*not paddle boat, kayaks and canoe, The fact that there were no other boats on the lake was voted number one best amenity. One day we all donned pfd's and swam halfway to the island with no worry of boats or jet skis buzzing around. Our only very minor complaint was the highway noise. Owners were extremely responsive to our several questions upon arriva. Would for sure stay here again.

The Lodge was a perfect place for our four generation family to spend time together. The "private" lake was the perfect size. We enjoyed the pontoon boat, kayaks, canoe, paddle board and splash pad. We caught fish right off the dock. The game room was a hit with everyone. The kitchen and bar had everything we needed. We loved being able to sit together around the large dining table. All of our questions were answered quickly. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place. We hope to return!

Great spot for a larger group. Plenty to do and something for everyone, with a nicely appointed kitchen, bar area, great room, game room, outdoor lounge and firepit area, and lake. Just down the road is a classic WI bar with solid food and service. Host was very helpful and communicative, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Place was nicely stocked with the essentials, which was appreciated as it allowed us to arrive and immediately relax. Overall, a unique, nicely updated property perfect for larger families or groups.

One of the most eye catching lake properties I've been to. Lots and lots of room for big family fun. Ann and Steve were also very accommodating and quick to communicate. Give this place a shot! You will not regret.

Perfect place for a large group! The home was clean and the beds super comfy; there was plenty of room for everyone inside and out. The weather was perfect for fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and playing on the lake – the water trampoline was a favorite! There was plenty to offer for rainy days as well with the game room and a large variety of board games, books, pool table, and large sectional for movies. We had a memorable stay and hope to return next summer!
