One of only a few LEGAL vacation rental properties in all of Kelowna & West Kelowna! Barona Beach Resort is a beautiful year-round vacation destination on the shores of beautiful Lake Okanagan. Just a 4 hour drive from Vancouver, it boasts 600 feet of sandy beach, exquisite common pool & hot tub and beautifully appointed architecture and grounds. Situated directly below the beautiful Mission Hill Winery, it is surrounded by vineyards, orchards and mountains, and nestled in by the sandy shores of Lake Okanagan. Bring the boat and enjoy the public launch (1 block away) and day parking at the end of the dock.
This beautiful unit, located on the third floor, is spacious and open (approximately 1,400 sq/ft all on 1 floor) with 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The large deck provides unobstructed views of both Lake Okanagan and the resort pool/hot tub and is equipped with a small patio table, eight chairs and a deluxe gas barbecue. There are single sliding doors to access the deck off the Master Bedroom and double French sliding doors off the Living Room. The unit is heated and cooled with a geothermal heat pump, and additional floor fans are located in each bedroom for additional cooling.
The unit is appointed with high end finishings including hardwood flooring, granite counters, stainless appliances, washer/dryer, etc... Furnished privately by the owners, it is far nicer than other units in the complex including: quality modern design furniture throughout, Westin quality beds with high-end linens, 3 Flatscreen Smart LED televisions, DVD, FREE premium HD Cable and FREE wireless internet, and tasteful modern decorations. The unit includes one underground parking stall located directly across from the elevator for your convenience. An additional parking space is available upon request.
The unit sleeps 8 guests comfortably as follows: Primary bedroom - king, 2nd bedroom - queen, and 3rd bedroom – two double beds. Unlike some units that have either a bunk bed or pull out couch in the den/loft, this unit includes an actual large 3rd bedroom with two double beds.
All of your cooking desires will be accommodated with the fully appointed kitchen that includes appliances throughout and high quality mini appliances such as Magic Bullet blender/Toaster/Coffee maker/Crockpot/Waffle maker/ Pancake Griddle as well as completely stocked accessories including top quality cook-wear. There is a high end gas BBQ on the deck perfect for outdoor entertaining.
Also don’t worry about packing pool and sand toys, our unit provides a wide selection of fun for the kids, including: pails and shovels, beach umbrella, 4 Tommy Bahama backpack beach chairs, beach towels, 1 kids’ lifejacket and a fold up wagon to accommodate all these goodies to the beach or pool.
Quails’ Gate and Mission Hill wineries are at your doorstep, as are many of the other 250 Okanagan wineries, golf courses, regional parks, bike trails, aquatic/recreational facilities and spa’s. Frind winery is within walking distance and offers great breakfast and lunch options. This location is second to none. Once you discover Barona Beach, you'll fall in love.

We absolutely loved our stay at Barona beach. The views from the deck of the lake and pool were beautiful. Waking up and enjoying a morning coffee on the deck was so nice. Big beautiful kitchen with everything we needed including wine glasses and champagne flutes to drink the wine we had bought from nearby wineries. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were squeaky clean. We loved having cable as well to be able to watch the Olympics. Fun for our whole family!

Unit is in a great location in the complex especially during this particularly hot summer. Pool and beach were great. Very good / prompt communication with property manager and the unit is better than the others we have stayed in at this resort. Awesome master bedroom bed!

Excellent location, easy access to the beach. A very comfortable and well appointed apartment. All the facilities you need. The owner was helpful and quick to respond to any enquiries. And it was close to a number of the best wineries.

We had a really lovely stay at this property. We were here for a reunion of 3 senior sisters and their husbands. The suite was perfect for this. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with all cooking utensils you could ever need. The open concept of kitchen, living and dining area allowed for everyone to visit while not being cramped together.
The suite was well maintained and very clean. Shannon was extremely helpful and prompt with text replies as needed.
This wasn't the type of trip to use the facilities or swim in pool or lake, (November), but everything looked lovely.
Would I recommend to friends? Yes! Would I return? Yes!

This property is exactly as shown in pictures and a wonderful resort get-away. Shannon was amazing in her quick communications and all the amenities provided. The unit is well-stocked with supplies and we didn’t need for anything. We can’t say enough positive about our weekend and how welcome we felt in the condo. Thank you again for a great weekend!! We will definitely be back.

Very nice property. Well kept with nice amenities. We enjoyed the beach and the pool, and the nearby Frind bakery and winery was popular with our group.
Sadly we were impacted by the West Kelowna wild fire during our week so we cut our trip a bit short.

Great location and beautiful well maintained condo on the lake. Lovely shaded deck with comfortable chairs. Wonderful clean pool and hot tub. Large beach area with several chairs and loungers. Our family had an awesome vacation and we hope to return next summer.

Shannon was amazing to deal with! Very attentive and had fast responses to our inquiries. Condo had all the amenities for a family stay including beach toys, beach chair and umbrellas which was very handy.
Our family enjoyed that we didn’t have to venture very far to enjoy the pool or the beach.

This condo was very comfortable and equipped with everything you would need on a vacation. The owners Shannon and Shaun were very responsive to all our questions. The lake and pool were great for swimming and we enjoyed the hot tub. The location was next to all the vineyards which was great for wine tasting. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone.

Our family had a great time at Barona Beach and the condo was perfect for our needs. The rooms are spacious and the views from the balcony of the pool area and beach are beautiful. We especially enjoyed sitting outside in the late afternoon and evening shade with a drink in hand. The property overall is well maintained and the underground parking was appreciated. Our group had a lovely stay here! The unit was exactly as described, clean, and had an amazing view of the pool and lake. Communication with the host was excellent, and the check in/out process was very easy and simple. The location was perfect for exploring the wineries in the area. I would definitely stay here again!

With a view of both the pool and the lake this property feels like a tropical resort. The unit had a cozy vacation feel without being cramped, the facilities and direct beach access made it easy to relax and fit in some truly enjoyable downtime into a busy weekend packed with activities. Shannon and Shaun replied immediately to any questions we had and were friendly and easy to deal with throughout. The location is well situated close to anything you could want (beaches, groceries, fantastic wineries, etc.). We stayed with friends and all agreed we would love to spend more time at this complex.

Our whole family enjoyed our stay here immensely. It is an ideal place to stay if you have children as the condo was well stocked with everything you need for beach and pool days.The condo is beautiful and very spacious. It is a bit of a drive to Kelowna but we were happy just to hang out there as they have their own private beach. I highly recommend this condo.

Beautiful place, exactly as pictured. Rooms are spacious - especially the main living area! Shannon was extremely responsive to messages and her recommendation for Annie’s Cafe was spot on! We sat on the patio and overlooked the grass and ocean while we ate the best roasted chicken pizza I’ve ever had!
The small private beach is just steps away, and there were only 4 other people there when we went! OR.. When you get to the ‘main’ beach, if you go right across the grass and under the willow trees you will find a tiny patch of beach that is completely sandy with a few adironack chairs that was half sun/half shade when we went in the late afternoon/early evening. We had it to ourselves :)
Westside is also less busy than the area we were in last year downtown. We made one daytrip through town which was a bit of a trek with traffic but completely worth it to stay in such a quiet, beautiful area. If you’re like us and don’t want to be in the middle of all the people then this place is PERFECT!

Beautiful Barona Beach
We had an awesome stay at this property. The unit is very well appointed, clean, neat and tidy. It had all the amenities that were required. The surrounding area is simply beautiful. Close by proximity to wineries and beautiful landscapes. Our hosts Shaun and Shannon were awesome. Easy to reach and gave us a lot of tips on what to do in the Okanagan region.
We wish Shaun and Shannon continued success as hosts. We will definitely come back for a visit.

This was the perfect condo for a ladies' weekend. Beautifully decorated with all the amenities. The nice pool area and beach were enticing, I only wish it was warmer out so we could have enjoyed these more. Great location for wine tours etc

Great place to stay with a fantastic view, comfortable decor, well equiped and spacious kitchen and warm pool and great hot tub. Aside from the somewhat challenging arrival process, this place is the bees knees. I don't know what more one could want! Oh, it's perhaps a bit pricey compared to others but it's certainly worth it. The patio and BBQ set up is excellent too. Close to town and there is a small children's playground about 10 min walk away along the waterfront.
