nice and well equipped house, clean and spacious
It was a shame that the bedroom were we stayed was not equipped with bed side lamp on one side. My husband and I like reading.

What's not to like. Great location, nice quiet area, parking outside property, lovely rear garden, bedrooms great size and a wonderful welcome pack. Would definitely recommend and will use again when we are visiting this way again 😀
Only thing we could fault was the bathroom was a bit dated.
4.0
Great location. Bedrooms are a really good size. Lots of storage. And beds we’re comfortable.
Not a show stopper but the Living room is small, you would struggle to fit 6 adults in there. Shower in the bathroom was a bit weak and awkwardly positioned but worked and was clean. Kitchen was small but had everything you would need.
4.5
Great location. Good communication with owners. Easy parking. Everything in good order. Convenient for visit to Port Sunlight.

This was a lovely 3 bedroom house and had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. The perfect location for us. It was a quirky little place with some very interesting and lovely additions. The owners, Lydia and Dave, seemed lovely, too. It was quiet around the area, so you can have a great night's sleep.
The bathroom was a little outdated, but this didn't affect our stay. We would only suggest changing the shower curtain. It is a little bit slippy after some rainfall in the garden, so you need to watch your footing on the slabs.

Location was ideal. We used Bebington as a base to holiday in the north Wales/Cheshire/Staffordshire/Lancashire areas.
Nothing really

Perfect location for us. A beautiful, clean and cozy house. The beds are very comfortable. Lydia and Dave are very attentive and helpful.
It's a pity that the house doesn't have a toilet.

Location was good as we were visiting Liverpool. Was quite a quiet neighbourhood.property was very clean and tidy.
From the photos we thought the property may be in a village rather than a street. For a ‘luxury property’ the bathroom needs a massive update! In the kitchen I found one saucepan that was a bit rusty and wouldn’t like to use and two very small frying pans so one larger one would have been good, there was also a wok. Quilts were very thin. A few ‘rules of the house’ and were reminded during our stay of the need to be quiet after 10pm which was fine but then had a jack hammer going next door from 8am in the morning when we really wanted a bit of a lie in before we started our 4 and a half hour drive back home but do understand this is not the owners fault. There was a list on the fridge of items we could buy but many of these were missing.

The bedrooms and the decoration of the front lounge were good. There was plenty of towels and bedding.
This was not a cottage it was a terraced house on a road of local authority owned houses with cottage style bricks added to the front.
I have never seen such a bathroom! It was purple, 1970s style with extremely dated tiles, a broken tap and a plug which didn’t work.
The kitchen was much smaller than expected and looked very tired.
The living room was quite small, the dining was much larger but filled with an oversized dining table.
There were also cigarette stubs covering the patio.
4.5
The house is very comfortable and homely, and all rooms are a good size. The hosts were friendly and uncomplicated; they provided good information about the house and the area and answered our questions quickly. Good for parking.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the bathroom decor could do with updating but it's well functioning and perfectly adequate.
4.5
All facilities that we required. House was just warm enough. Parking for 2 cars, but place in front of house tight. A little garden which would be lovely in summer. Within walking distance to a great Chinese, buses and train station. Great for connections to Liverpool or Chester bt car or public transport.
Didn't affect us bit if elderly or struggled with the stairs, they are steep. Cealn and tidy but some of the decor needs updating.

Nice little "cottage style "house. Great location, train links nearby.
Clean, tidy and nicely presented.
Just a coulpe of minor things.
Bathroom could do with an update but didn't impact on stay.
Plug socket needed next to dressing tables.

Had a fantastic time, the instructions for how to operate everything in the house were very clear and the hosts responded quickly to a query when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable and had a range of mattress firmness so you can choose which you prefer. It can be difficult to find places with free parking so this was very handy.
One of the bedrooms had a lot more storage space than the others, if you're planning a longer stay with several people it might be worth sharing the big wardrobe in the back bedroom.

Our party was 5 adults, and we used this accommodation to join in a family event nearby. It was convenient and well-priced. The hosts made regular contact by text message and we felt well-supported by them throughout.
The house is small, comfortable and clean. Although the weather was very cold, we were warm and cosy in the house.
It was great to be able to sort our our breakfasts and snacks in the kitchen, pop out to local shops, and walk to visit family locally - much more flexible than staying in hotel accommodation.
The house is within easy walking distance of shops and cafes, and two railway stations are each less than 10 mins walk away (Wirral Line of Merseyrail, connecting to Liverpool in one direction and Chester in the other).
The couple using the back bedroom found the bed to be uncomfortable. That was our only (minor) disappointment in a very relaxing weekend.

lovely location and good value. had everything we needed, hosts were really quick to reply and really helpful and knowledgeable. highly recommend.
bathroom could do with an update but it was clean, working, functional and rustic :)

Great communication with Lydia in the run up. the beds are VERY comfortable. Lovely touch with the mini bar, perfect after a long drive up.
3.5
Very good location, in a quiet street.
Space to move around, and prepare our own meals.
Attention to detail of cleanliness of kitchen and first impressions lacked, eg rubbish bins and leaves at front door..
Feedback provided direct to owner.

Location for us was great, parking space very handy, spacious dining, overall very clean, comfortable and inviting.
Only complaint would be washing machine was broken also the shower was a bit basic (although spoilt at home with a power shower!)
But this not not spoil our stay.

Easy to locate the property which had a warm and cozy feel to it. We felt comfortable in this property and it felt like a proper home. There are a number of good restaurants and a couple of pubs within easy walking distance.
There was nothing specific that we could point out that we could say that we did not like.

Cute house, had everything you needed. Large bedrooms and comfy. Like a home from home.
Very thin walls which meant effectively bare minimum noise (no tv/chatting) in the lounge after 10pm to avoid complaints from next door.

location
the shower was hard work

Location is great, quiet neighborhood, next to a big park, short walk to train stations. Very easy to go to Liverpool or Chester by the train. The port sunlight village is a pleasant surprise for us to walk around and feel relaxed. The Lady Lever gallery is really grand, well worth a visit. Even the small port sunlight museum is a good experience. The landlord is very helpful and lives nearby.
4.5
Great location and value for money. Excellent choice to stay if you want to visit Liverpool
One of the beds was very squeaky and noisy

The property was very comfortable and perfect for what we needed.
No toaster so has to use the grill of the oven.
