Absolutely nothing.
Absolutely disgusting,The rooms haven't been touched ,Only one toilet working our room had no wardrobe just a pole with 5 hangers drawers not cleaned out in any of the rooms we had, windows sills had dead flies and not cleaned . Loads of old wood and bucket and mop left at top off stairs, needless to say we never stayed, and looked for somewhere else.

Poor accommodation

I chose the location because I needed to be near the Leeds Liverpool canal for a paddleboard trip.
The customer service is appalling. The people running the place ignored all my messages. They never told me there was a refundable £100 security deposit to pay. If I'd known, I wouldn't have booked. I wasn't permitted to cancel the booking so was forced to pay the deposit. I feel I was misled. Very shoddy practice. Of course there's been no communication about getting my £100 deposit back.

The jollys guest house
We arrived the Tuesday 23rd August 2022 and we checked out Monday 29th August 2022
when we booked the room we got told there was parking available but there wasn't parking so we had to find it our self's in a area we didn't know
We had trouble from the start
The code provided did not work
We had to go in to the pub to get a code of the landlady which she gave us one then it took us 20 minutes to get in the door as there must of been something wrong with it .
We then went in to the room it was damp and smelly.
6 rooms having to share 2 bathroom is a joke especially when we're having to get up early just so we can get sorted and arrive at work on time.
And then on the Friday to sunday
We had no sleep at all due to pub been that loud that the room was rumbling and vibrating and we couldn't hear our self's talk the music was going till at least 3.30am

The building was old, so apparently it is difficult for the housekeepers to clean and maintain everything.
Some repairs and a new carpet would do well.
It was very quiet and no noise was disturbing our night rest.
It took some time to get used sharing the bathrooms. Not every guest collected the towels etc.
Second entrance door makes a lot of noise. It needs just a small technical solution.
No private or organised parking place was available for the guests. Parking garages closed very early.
Very, very small and short beds.
