Quiet and comfortable with gorgeous bay views. Eagles, hummingbirds, the occasional deer. Dark enough for exceptional star gazing and glimpses of the milky way. We hope to return.

We loved our stay. It was everything and more for us. Thank you for welcoming us to your home. We want to come back!

The view from here of the ocean is incredible. The waves are amazing here and it was a great pleasure relaxing and cooking here. The kitchen has everything one needs. It is a remote area which we loved because we couldn't see the neighbors. . The bedrooms were on the smaller side but we like being cozy. There is plenty of room in the living room and outside for people to congregate. A part of Arcadia National Park is 3.5 miles away on the Schoodic Peninsula from the house.

The house is adorable! We enjoyed the view from the back patio: the lobster boats would move in and out of the harbor and pick up the traps. We even saw dolphins one day. The kitchen is well stocked. You can see the harbor from the living room and kitchen. It is effortless to interact from the kitchen to the family room. There are two comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms. Only one bathroom has a shower, however, the other has a big bathtub. We loved the location! It was peaceful, but we could still travel a short distance to get to a restaurant or for ice cream. The Schoodic Peninsula is AMAZING and not crowded. We saw great sunsets, fished, climbed on rocks, and had picnics. The drive to Acadia was a little over an hour but the scenery along the way made the trip go fast. Having a washer and dryer in the house was also a great feature. Quick responses from the owner and very easy to work with!!!! We loved every moment spent there.

So relaxing and beautiful! Property has everything you could need. Winter Harbor is a great little community. Lots of recreation opportunities on this side of Arcadia with very little crowding. I highly recommend!

The cottage was wonderful for my sister and I! Incredible to wake and have coffee out on the deck overlooking the ocean! The place is nice and clean and cheery!

The best thing was the view. Very over priced for the accommodations.
Not the best.

We loved the location. We got to the location after dark. Walking in the front door we were immediately happy with our decision. Then when the sun came up in the morning the view of the bay was amazing. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.

The property is very charming and comfortable. Watching the sunrise every morning and being on the ocean was amazing. It was perfect.

The cottage is beautifully situated close to the water. The cottage is quiet and comfortable. The sea breezes are constant so even a hot spell is pleasant. And the wave action lulls one to sleep.

We were super happy with our stay here! It’s clean, cozy, and well-stocked! There is a beautiful view of the ocean from the living room/kitchen and a big deck with lots of comfy seating. You can hear the ocean from the bedrooms, with the windows open. The road in to Dancing Tides meanders through coastal woodlands and to me, it’s part of the charm of the whole experience. So pretty! The Schoodic part of Acadia National Park is only a few minutes away. We have been coming to the area for a long time and this place was one of our most enjoyable stays! We would definitely come again. Book it!

We've stayed at this house twice now and love it. It's a great location on a rocky beach in a quiet neighborhood. Nice view of the bay from the back deck and always the sound of waves crashing on the rocks. We hope to be back again in the future.

As advertised- amazing views and great location! Had a great stay!

Loved our stay here. The house was clean, well stocked and right on a rocky beach! It’s about an hour drive from Bar Harbor, but that wasn’t an issue as we had a car. It was nice to escape the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor and come home to this quiet home. Plenty of room for our family of 4! Loved waking up in the morning having coffee on the back porch and being able to hear the waves and see the water! Highly recommend staying here!

We has an awesome stay on this beautiful part of the Maine coast! Yes, it is remote, or a bit out of the way, but that was the point of this trip! The home was very clean with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds! Too bad the weather didn't cooperate for much of our stay to enjoy the deck, but the home has an incredible view. Nearby Corea and Winter Harbor had great places to eat and pick up a few supplies like fresh seafood. The home is also very close to the Schoodic Peninsula portion of Acadia National Park. Owner was very responsive to questions!

was exactly as shown in the listing. beautiful location, well stocked and very clean. out of the way but we expected that and really enjoyed the Schoodic Peninsula side of Acadia though went to both parks and Bar Harbor. Highly recommended.

I’m so glad I found this cozy cabin in the small town away from Bar Harbor. Our host Ashley had great communication from booking on. I was able to extend my stay by an extra day with ease. I always looked forward to the sunrise with coffee on the patio. The towel warmers are a nice touch and the house has everything you need down to spices in the pantry. I hope to visit again next year!

Very convenient location for exploring the Schoodic Peninsula and neighboring harbor towns. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Having 2 bathrooms was great. The deck was wonderful for getting some morning sun. The host was very quick to respond to any questions. We would stay here again.

My family loved our stay here. It was our first trip to Maine, but certainly won’t be our last. We had breakfast on the deck while listening to the waves. There is hiking nearby, which was beautiful. Highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay while getting away from everything. Maine is beautiful in winter and it was wonderful to be snowbound, watch the ocean waves and read a good book!

My husband and I stayed here for about 5 days and couldn't be happier with our choice, exactly as pictures show. The cottage had everything you could ever need, and was incredibly cozy - perfect crash pad after a long day of hiking. We would absolutely stay here again.

Dancing Tides had all that we needed and more. The decor was cozy and soothing. Showering and drying off with warm towels was a treat. The views of the harbor were priceless at any time of the day. We didn't miss a single sunrise. We look forward to returning in the future. Wonderful attention to details. Thank you.

We stayed a week and loved every minute. The house is an hour away from Bar Harbor and apple picking. Beautiful view of the ocean and moon at night. Enjoyed nappping on the couch to the sound of waves crashing.

I loved Dancing Tides. The cottage was adorable and fully stocked with what we needed. It was all windows looking over the water. I wish we could have used the fireplace but knew ahead of time we could not. It was wonderful.

I found this location and it looked good because we wanted to stay in a semi private area, on the water. We loved it! The cottage is very well furnished and decorated and also was very clean. Even the windows were clean! (which I find many times are pretty dirty especially on a waterfront location). The view is great and we watched the sunrise on several occasions. The owners have such good taste as you will see if you stay here. It's a short drive to Schoodic Point which is part of Acadia National Park (separate from Acadia by Bar Harbor). It was so nice to visit Bar Harbor then escape the crowds and go back to our private location and just relax! We absolutely loved this location!!!

This property was so conveniently located to the Schoodic Peninsula part of Acadia that we found ourselves going there 3 times. The ferry to Bar Harbor was also close, with a pleasant boat ride giving access to the shuttle system to explore the park. And it was great to get back to spend time on the deck. We saw a bald eagle, porpoises and seals from the deck- not to mention watching the lobstermen coming and going.
The house was very comfortable- perfect for two, and fine for 4 when my brother stopped in for several days. Kitchen was nicely modernized, with the necessities.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
