This was a cute little cottage with some vintage cottage decor and some modern amenities. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood behind another house. It was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

This is a cute little unit located right near downtown Santa Rosa and located at the back of a property behind the main house. I believe the owners have done a great job with what they have. While the layout is a little odd, the entire place has charm and is well equipped and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked (the fresh creamer for coffee and plentiful k-cups are a great touch), there are plenty of towels, extra bedding, etc. The bed is pretty firm, so be aware of that if you prefer a softer mattress. The living room is very small, and the couch is firm and a bit uncomfortable to sit on, so not great for lounging. As a base for exploring Santa Rosa and surrounding areas it works just fine. The communication with the host was excellent. If you’re looking for clean, comfortable, convenient place this is for you.

We were so happy to stay here! We parked the car upon arrival and didn’t need it again until it was time to go home. Santa Rosa is such a nice little city and the bike ride to Sebastopol was perfect. We’d be happy to make this trip again and stay here again.

This is a cute house in a perfect location. Close to downtown but in a very quiet neighborhood. The Santa Rosa Creek trail is close by for a relaxing stroll. The owner was easy to reach and really helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

We were delighted with our cottage home away from home.It was clean, well-organized and all the things you would expect. Most of all, Emily had added personal touches that were delightful, especially a variety of books about the region. Every need was anticipated. The location was great. Picture yourself relaxing in the lawn chair, overlooking the beautiful yard.

Bathroom was a bit tight with low fixtures (toilet and sink), due to being old. Bed was very comfortable but would be hard to use the pillows against the wall for reading position. Yard was cute. Couch was not comfortable to me with no back support. Nice to have packs of yogart to snack on with almond milk as I requested. Good supply of K-cups for Keurig.

Great communication from beginning to end. We loved the cottage and were happy with its accessibility to downtown Santa Rosa (restaurants/bars, antique shops, train station, and parks) all within walking distance. Would love to stay again on our next visit. Thank you Emily.

Super host provided a warm welcome. Grateful my service dog was welcome. Only feedback is yard had a lot of “ouchie” stickers & small debris that stuck to her fur & would bring in the house. Tried to stay on top of the cleaning both the floor & dog.

A lovely stay at this comfortable well appointed cottage. Location was great for beaches & wine tasting. The king size bed was very comfortable. Our Labrador appreciated the yard, and very close dog park! We walked to The Criminal bakery a few mornings for wonderful scones and muffins. Also appreciated our coffee at the cottage. Thank you Emily for providing the 1/2&1/2 and nice bottle of wine! Our hostess was also fabulous to work with when we asked to stay an extra night!
We hope to stay here again! Thank you for providing us with a wonderful “home”

We had a fun trip. The place was clean, the bed comfortable, and Emily was easy to contact when I had questions. The included beverages were a happy surprise, too. I enjoyed the walkable distances.

Cozy 1 bedroom in great location.
My wife and I would rent here again. The house was clean and perfect for our needs. It had a central location in a nice neighborhood. The bed was comfortable and the home had everything we needed. The one thing I missed was a folder from the owner with a little better directions on the house and the owners suggestions on favorite places to eat and things to do. It didn’t take away from our experience but it would have been nice.

Beautiful property, great location, excellent furnishings
We were greeted with a bottle of wine and almond milk for our coffee and cereal. There is a fully stocked kitchen, plenty coffee pods for the Keurig, and all the glasses, bowls, mugs and flatware anyone could need, as well as cooking utensils, bottle openers etc.
The property was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The A/C worked fine.
Coin Op laundry machines were available and complimentary detergent pods were stocked.
Our host was available if needed, but everything was so perfect that we didn’t need anything more!
Thanks Emily for a great stay in Santa Rosa!

Lovely little place
We loved staying here. The house is well equipped with cookware, utensils, coffee, etc. It’s tucked back off the street in a cute little neighborhood. We walked to the downtown area for food many times. Emily also provided yogurt and granola which came in handy a few times as I had to be at a seminar before most places were open. We look forward to staying here again and highly recommend it!

Centrally located for Sonoma County adventures
Tucked down a short driveway in Santa Rosa’s historic West End, this comfortable cottage was a perfect home base, affording quick and easy access to destinations east and west on CA Rt. 12, and north and south on the 101. With family nearby, we didn’t prepare meals other than breakfast (made easier by the milk and yogurt kindly supplied by the hosts, along with a gift bottle of local wine) , but the fully equipped kitchen would have allowed a visiting cook to operate easily. There are also several good restaurants and a topnotch bakery in walking distance. The king bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the large closet with ample hangers. Having separate rooms for bath/shower and toilet/sink was a plus too. Hosts were responsive to a couple of minor requests, but were otherwise not in evidence. A very pleasant home base!

Wonderful Stay
This is a very well-kept and well-stocked cottage, perfect for 2 people with everything we needed. It was comfortable, clean, and charming. Great property manager who communicated in timely and helpful ways.
We have family in the area and it was nicely situated for us to get in and out of town easily. Great upscale market nearby as well (depending on the direction you go in the neighborhood, communities get fancier or a bit dodgier); the cottage itself is located behind a beautiful Victorian home on a quite street full of pretty flowers, gardens, trees and vintage houses. There were only 2 small things I might note for future travelers: the thermostat was hard to find even though it is actually in plain sight, but just unusually located in the middle of the wall behind the sofa. We had one cold night before figuring this out. Could just be us, honestly! Second, the listing notes there is a washer and dryer available, which is accurate. However, there was not an indication that it is coin-operated, which was an inconvenient surprise. Change is not available on the premises, so it would have been great to know this in advance.
Please be clear that these are two minor issues in an otherwise lovely stay, and I have no hesitation at all to recommend this property. It was perfect for our needs and checked off all the boxes in terms of fundamentals done right!

Perfect for our stay
Husband and I drove up with our dog from San Diego to visit our son for the weekend. This property is close to everything. Walk easily to downtown Santa Rosa, old train depot coffee bar, Russian River Brewing, 3rd St. Aleworks, etc. The dog park is only two short blocks away and is next to a great bakery. The property is also near a pet and animal feed store, where our dog charmed some snacks out of the employees. Property was very clean, yard was great for hanging out, including local cat sightings- we used the shared yard (we rarely saw other occupants come and go, and had area all to ourselves) with chimenea, picnic table and porch, to hang out in the evenings. We cooked Easter meal in the very well stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels. Super safe. Slept like a log. If I come up by myself, I will not hesitate to stay here.
