About this house rental
This large victorian house residence #1 is extraordinary because it is located on the historic Irvine Park square with beautiful views of its fountain and gazebo - the only rental available on the park!! The victorian was handmade in 1869 and the exterior is now a museum piece preserved by the National Register of Historic Places. It is featured in Saint Paul walking and bus history tours, history books and even a history comic book!
The Horn House is one of Saint Paul's oldest homes located in Saint Paul's oldest neighborhood. This historic 1869 victorian has 2 residences in it. Each residence is 1500 ft² with 3 levels. The two units share a beautiful wraparound porch, outdoor furniture, fire pit, and a long wood dining table under a beautiful pergola in the back. Each residence has it's own private entrance and 100% totally private inside with a private kitchen and living space.
This Airbnb is for residence #1.
Note: if this rental is not available on your dates, please look for the other house residence to rent, same name but different unit number. Both residences are listed for rent.
This unique house is located in the very best spot to enjoy Saint Paul - only 2 blocks to the Xcel Event Center, restaurants, bars, the MN Science Museum, Rice Park and downtown St Paul.
This house is perfect for group fun for Xcel Events, a home base for weddings in Irvine Park, romantic weekends and fun.
Perhaps the most special part of the house is it's wrap around porch! This is the very best porch in Saint Paul to hang out, sip drinks, and enjoy the scenic retro ambience of Minnesota's oldest neighborhood.
Irvine Park is a magical bubble in the heart of Saint Paul. It is a square of antique Victorians surrounding a beautiful little park. Irvine Park is quiet like a small town even though it is just blocks from the hustle bustle of popular bars, restaurants and Xcel Energy Center.
This house has extra special history to baseball and movie fans because it was previously owned by Mike Veeck of the Saint Paul Saints and was the occasional hang-out and sleeping pad for Saints co-owner actor Bill Murray. This house was also the hang out for academy award winning actress Marisa Tomei and academy award nominee Matt Dillon while they filmed the movie Factotum in Irvine Park.

This get away was easy from beginning to end. We had a wonderful visit to the Minneapolis St. Paul area. The house was the perfect home base from which to launch our exploration. The host provided information sufficient to assure our stay was without hitch I especially appreciated the checking in and mid visit communications. The home was fully appointed and lacked no necessity. The beds were very comfortable as were all the furnishings. You won’t regret choosing this property.

We came in for an event at The Xcel Energy Center and couldn't have picked a better spot. The location is perfect, close to many dining options and the X.
Very quiet neighborhood a few blocks away from all the action.
The house had everything we needed to enjoy our four night stay.
If the opportunity arose again we would definitely
try to book this property.
The property manager checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed, you don't always get that when renting so that was nice.

Stayed at this great property for some hockey games at the Xcel energy Center. We had a great time. Choosing this placed was based on location, cleanliness and the three bedrooms. The host was very accommodating to our travel needs, as we all arrived and departed at different times. The local park and neighborhood was wonderful. We would all highly recommend staying here again

My family and I were in town for a concert and this place was great. Close walk to the Xcel Center, restaurants and coffee shops but on a very quiet street with a beautiful park out front. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Very quiet quaint but in the middle of all the activity.

A beautiful house in a picturesque neighborhood surrounding a park with a fountain and gazebo. We planned an outdoor graduation celebration, but due to rain, moved indoors. The open living/dining room afforded plenty of space and comfortable seating. The kitchen contained everything needed for cooking and baking. The host provided coffee, staples, fresh flowers, and even a bottle of wine, Check-in was seamless, and the host responded promptly to all inquiries. We also enjoyed the well-tuned baby grand piano!

Amazing Gem
We had a great stay on Irvine Park. Never knew this neighborhood existed, and it was a great find. Close to everything and walking distance to the fun places on 7th, the excel center and just a little further to downtown st. paul - but still in a quiet, beautiful and historic neighborhood. The owner was very responsive and willing to help with anything or add anything needed. The outdoor area was the highlight - very cool place to have a dinner or just hang out. The place was well appointed and the beds very comfortable. The pics are accurate - but the reality is even better!
