It was perfect for what we needed

We loved this house and had an amazing time. The hosts were very responsive and helped with everything we needed! There was only AC on the top floor (kitchen/LR) and the basement isn’t completely finished. That said, this house is immaculately clean and the views were beautiful!

We go to Rockwood somewhat frequently, and have stayed at some of sporting camps in town before, but we found this place and it seemed perfect. It was! We stayed for several days in February for a snowmobile trip. The house is legitimately right on the trail and overlooks the local sled repair shop with gas so within seconds you are out on the trail and ready to ride for the day. This was important for us because we had issues with gas from the only station in town previously. Yes, you do hear/see all the other sleds and the groomer, but that isn't horrible. The house was clean and had all the amenities you would expect. The beds were comfortable and the house was nice and warm. The driveway is a half circle so if you have a trailer you can easily drive in and out without having to back up or jockey around.
The one thing I would say is that the road is a private road and very narrow with a super steep hill that starts right from the main road. We were towing our sled trailer and the sun had been hitting the road all day, not enough to melt away anything but enough to make the hill a sheet of glare ice. We couldn't make it up the hill because it hadn't been sanded. But we were able to make contact with the homeowner and the road got sanded. We will book here again!

The property has everything you need. Keurig with pods, washing machine, paper goods, plenty of linens. There is plenty to keep you occupied, with pool table, day board, etc... The private road sets up and away from the busy street with a beatific view of the manicured grounds and lake across the street. The property owners made it a point to introduce themselves and offer up suggestions for the area. Plenty of parking available and 4 beds, made this a good spot for access to the riding trails. Overall a great spot for a getaway, whether with the kids or just with friends.
