Seven miles north of the restaurants and shops of Greenville, this cabin provides a quiet and isolated escape that's still close enough to civilization for you to visit whenever you like. You're right on Moosehead Lake in Beaver Cove, with a pebbly beach, dock, boat mooring, and gentle waters for swimming only 100 feet away. Other summertime fun includes hiking and spotting wildlife at Lily Bay State Park only two miles to the north. Wintertime visitors can enjoy easy access to nearby snowmobile trails. There's also a garage available to stash any gear you might have.
You'll love spending quiet time enjoying the sights and sounds of the lake from the comfort of one of the two spacious, open decks or an enclosed three-season porch. Inside, admire the rustic atmosphere as you relax in the living area and enjoy family meals in the large dining room. Modern perks like satellite TV and free WiFi are also available. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking delicious meals. Place your reservation today and start daydreaming about cozy nights spent listening to the call of loons around an outdoor fire.
THINGS TO KNOW
The camp is equipped with a standby power generator to ensure your stay is not impacted by a power failure. All camp utilities and appliances will continue to function automatically.
Cell service in this area tends to be spotty.
The dock is 40 feet long and can accommodate one boat with a maximum length of 18 feet.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Dock details: DOCK: The dock is 40 feet long, but the front end is shallow, and can only have one boat tied to it. The dock can accommodate a maximum boat length of 18 feet. The dock can be subject to high wind/wave conditions. If a boat is tied to the dock during these occurrences, there is a likelihood that damage will occur to both the boat and the dock. During high wind/wave conditions the boat should be moored to the white mooring in front of the dock. This can safely moor up to a 24-foot boat/party boat. During these events, which can last several days, short-term sheltered slips may also be available one mile away at Beaver Cove Marina. It is not the owner’s responsibility if any damages occur because these guidelines were not followed. The dock comes out mid-September due to low lake levels. The dock returns in late May, typically before Memorial Day. However, this can vary due to water levels. Please reach out to us to check about the dock availability.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page.
Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Lovely and cozy lakeside cabin . Fully stocked and perfectly clean. A bit on the shady side due to the numbers of old trees surrounding the cabin; but the view of the cove from the lower deck and shore was special.

This home is beautiful! Everything was exactly as expected. Clean and well stocked. Didn't catch any fish, but it didn't effect our experience and still think the location and proximity to the lake is perfect.

The location of this property was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Moose spotting, of which we saw 15, hiking and sight seeing.

Better than listing description! Everything you need is there. Just bring your clothes! Only downside is that we didn’t stay longer. Hope to be back.

This was our 2nd stay at this house. It’s got everything you could need for a nice, relaxing stay.

Location was very quiet yet close enough to town for a meal or groceries. Cabin was spotless and very well equipped. There were a couple of minor issues, which were detailed in a written note left at the cabin. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderfully stocked kitchen. Rained the whole stay so had to spend time indoors, rooms were nice but inside furniture beds were not the most comfortable for duration of indoor time. TV options were nice. Nice fire pit set up

Gorgeous location, right on Moosehead Lake. House was spotless and incredibly well stocked. So many spices, cleaning supplies, great dishes etc. Very comfortable- even at 14 degrees. Added bonus - great garage. Nice walks
We all were very pleased.

We wanted for nothing while staying here. Appreciated the great kitchen, had everything we needed. Loved the grill as well. Did not use the fireplace as there was no seating. The house itself was spacious and comfortable, though I would recommend replacing the mattresses downstairs. The one queen advertised felt like a full mattress on a queen frame. The dining area was perfect for board games in the evening and family meals the rest of the day. Access to the washer/dryer was also greatly appreciated.
Dock and water access was great. We enjoyed kayaking with our boats, (no boats on property for renter use. This is normal btw) and enjoyed the loons and daily mallard family visits. Use of the garage was also greatly appreciated-an unexpected bonus!! Overall a wonderful week in a generously equipped property in a beautiful location.

We had two couples for a fall fishing trip on the east outlet. There was a lot of wind and rain one night but the automatic generator kept us very comfortable. We would certainly come back again.

First time in the Moosehead Lake area and this was a great house! Huge space, my kids loved playing hide and seek and playing the games on rainy days. Disappointed the house pictures show a canoe and kayak that you can’t use which was part of the reason I chose to stay here. I would 100% stay here again. Kitchen was great also!

We would like to thank the owners for sharing their home with us. Overall we thought this property was great. The kitchen was well equipped to cook in including spices which was a huge plus (so few are). The dining room area was large and airy. The laundry and clothes line came in handy. The deck at waterside was fantastic for our evening wine and cheese and the view of the water and sunset was spectacular. Having a garage was nice, especially since it was raining when we were packing the car to leave. It was a comfortable place to stay but I gave the accuracy of the online description a 3 because the beds seemed to be doubles, not queens. We were two couples but each of us felt it necessary to sleep in separate beds because they felt small. The home over all was clean and well maintained but the dish washer was leaking and this appeared to be a problem that managers were aware of since there was duct tape along the bottom. We would also advise the owner to have the table top scrubbed because furniture polish has built up so much that the table is sticky, even with cleaning- it is uncomfortable to the touch.

Nice house and area. Some issues with house cleaning team and bathrooms. Would have been nice to have paddles for canoe and kayaks.
