Just 1½ miles from the centre of Huddersfield and a 15-minute drive from the Peak District National Park, Wood View House has bars, restaurants and countryside all easily accessible.. 3 steps to entrance.

Huddersfield House, Wood View provides group accommodation in a quiet area just 1½ miles from the very centre of the large market town of Huddersfield. Benefitting from off road parking, a sociable dining area and ample outdoor space, it’s perfect for groups, couples and families alike.
Uniquely, a small walk up the road will take you to Longley Woods Nature Reserve where you’ll find their Wellbeing Trail – a walk designed for the body and mind. Huddersfield itself is a creative town, rich in culture and the birthplace of Rugby League. The centre can easily be reached in a 30-minute walk, 5-minute drive or via the local bus route. It’s home to plentiful amenities including shops, restaurants, bars and green space. There’s the Huddersfield Art Gallery, the University of Huddersfield and Huddersfield Town Football Stadium, together with the beautiful Greenhead Park and the peaceful escape of Beaumont Park. Castle Hill is just 1 mile down the road and standing more than 900 feet above sea level, offers spectacular views over the surrounding area.
You can also pick up the Calder Valley Greenway which is a 6 mile, largely rural route via woodland, farmland and riverside paths. Other local attractions with around a 30-minute drive include Shibden Hall, (home to Anne Lister of Gentleman Jack), Ogden Water Country Park, Cannon Hall Farm, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Marsden Moor for breath taking scenery and the Kirklees Light Railway for a scenic journey through the south Pennine foothills!
