Cute old house, built in the 1920s with 1500 sq feet- we had to look it up because it felt very small with the 6 of us. It’s 3 floors with extremely tight stairs and very uneven wood floors, all of us mentioned feeling off balanced, and one of us fell pretty hard down the stairs. There is one tv in a very tight sitting room on the first floor, definitely not comfortable for 6 adults but probably could feel better with small kids. There is a love seat by the tv with 4 chairs for the rest. The outdoor space is nice with a cleanish BBQ.

Four adults had a wonderful experience visiting here. The house was exceptionally clean and provided everything we needed. We would definitely stay again. Gloucester is a beautiful area.

Beautifully decorated home with comfortable beds and nice outdoor spaces. Third floor bedroom was a great space for kids with lots of room but might be difficult for people with mobility limitations. Don't miss the Harbor cruise which is an easy walk from the house. Stage Fort Park and Wingaersheek beach (at low tide if possible for a walk on the sandbar) were also highlights especially with children.

This house is the perfect walking distance to a beautiful and quiet beach. Easy drive to downtown restaurants. House is extremely clean, lots of space in bedrooms, definitely a unique setup. Host was so responsive, lots of extra touches to make it a comfortable stay and super easy checkout process. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay in Gloucester. The cottage was very clean and quiet. We were able to travel into Boston or Salem daily with no issues. The restaurants in Gloucester were great as well. There is a small pizza/sandwich place not far away called Firing Up. Came in handy for two hungry teens. Allie is a terrific host and very responsive! Five stars!!!

Perfect place for a 5 person girls weekend. House cute, bed comfortable, lots to do. We had just enough pots and pans for cooking. Staircase is a bit steep but lots of railing keep it safe.

Beautifully reimagined beach cottage a few blocks from the ocean. Very comfortable beds. Lots of cozy spots to read.

We had a lovely stay in Gloucester. Great location with partial views of water from a few rooms and great view from bunk room. Very close walk to beach and Rocky Neck. All the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. House very thoughtfully stocked including sound machines in the bedrooms! We tend to go to the "other" cape (Chatham) but wanted a change and this place exceeded our expectations. We will be back! Thank you!

We had a great stay at this beach house in Gloucester! This was very comfortable for the 6 of us, 2 kids, 2 teenagers, and 2 adults.

Allie maintains her property with a true attention to detail. She offered flexibility and understanding as we worked to find a safe and comfortable place to stay in Gloucester.
As the rare Gloucester visitor planning to dress for a semiformal occasion, we discovered the need for an iron and hangars. But, Allie worked with us to solve that.
We cooked all of our meals and found the kitchen to be well appointed with new appliances, pot, pans, utensils and 3-burner Weber grill we successfully used.
When we return to Gloucester we will be sure to connect with Allie for another stay!

We had 6 people stay comfortably in this beautiful cottage. The home exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and the extra touches were beautiful. The heated floor in the main level’s bathroom was a nice surprise. The furniture and decorations were perfect and well coordinated. It was a really nice space to spend time with family. Thank you.

Wonderful spade with quaint backyard - perks of the ocean in the distance from the second floor and walkable to Rocky Neck and a lovely nearby beach. Great place to stay off season and enjoy Gloucester and Rockport downtowns nearby.

We stayed over the Thanksgiving week. Great location if you're looking to get away from the city and be near the water (it really is just a 2m walk away). All the conveniences to help make a longer stay comfortable - central air, washer/dryer, stocked kitchen.
Only suggestion is to add shades / curtains on all the windows/doors downstairs. No concerns about safety or the neighborhood but we felt a bit exposed at night.
Note this house has a lot of stairs (some are steep) and little steps scattered throughout. We got used to it but worth noting.
We visit Boston regularly to see family and would definitely return to this property. It's a gem!

The property was perfect for our group of 7. Very comfortable. Good water views. Weather didn't allow us to use the outdoor deck space which would have been perfect. Good location to restaurants and other places we visited. First floor bathroom location for the third floor bedroom occupants was a bit of a challenge especially at night with the tight staircase but they managed. Would stay in the house again.

House was comfortable and well equipped. Very clean and close to the beach and town.
A wonderful stay!
One suggestion, stairs are steep and somewhat tricky for our older friends. A safety handrail near the top would be helpful as would one for the tub in the main bath
All in all, we really had a nice weekend stay

The house was beautiful and very clean. Good centralized location within walking distance to the beach. Owner was very responsive to questions and very helpful. Beds were extremely comfortable. Stairs to 2nd level a little steep and may be difficult for older visitors. It is beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful time in Glocester and would return here again.

This house had a variety of great spaces to thoroughly enjoy a relaxing end of summer beach weekend. The house was spotless and we loved all the updates and thoughtful amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable. The location of the house placed us close to all the shops and restaurants in Gloucester as well as some the best beaches in the state! Allie was very helpful and easy to communicate with, both before and during our stay.

Beautiful home, unique style. Very close to the beach. Close to nearby markets and activities. Lovely balcony with ocean view. Very comfortable beds. We would definitely book another stay in the future.

We were in Gloucester for a wedding and opted to make it a long weekend so we could get in some beach time. Our family of four really enjoyed this lovely little beach house. It is clean, comfortable, and cozy with great light and airflow. Furniture and bedding and appliances are all new. The kitchen is functional and pleasant. It is truly a 2 minute walk to Niles beach, and a quick drive to the more renown beaches in town. The house is nestled in a neighborhood that is pleasant for walking and running. A highlight was our long walk through a beautiful waterfront neighborhood to to Eastern Point Lighthouse. Although it was nice to stay at the house to play a board game or read as well. The house has some games and books on hand in case you forgot yours. We appreciated luxurious touches including high-quality linens and beds, working AC in each bedroom, and sky lights with shades. Allie clearly put a lot of effort into rehabbing a cute cottage so that it feels updated and stylish. A truly welcoming and relaxing get-away.

Myself and four friends stayed for a girls trip. The house was spotless, had plenty of room for us all, and was in a great location. We stayed on one of the hottest weekends of the summer and the AC kept the bedrooms super cool and comfortable. We felt safe staying here and enjoyed the extra touches like the board games and the beach towels. Allie was a great host. She was super responsive, checked in on us multiple times, and gave great recommendations. We all agreed we would stay here again! Thanks Allie!

Lovely vacation home!
We had a wonderful gathering with our adult children in this lovely, very well equipped home. The beds were comfortable in this beautifully decorated home with a relaxing ambience.
Niles Beach really is just an easy three minute walk around the beach and welcomes you with cool breezes and a sandy beach.
Gloucester downtown is just a few minutes drive for grocery shopping, touring, and dining.
Our host was very helpful and quick to answer any questions.
Hope we have an opportunity to stay here in the future!

Amazing Beautiful Home
My sister and I rented this home with our teens for a few days while visiting our elderly father in MA. It is an amazing location! The breeze off the harbor hits the deck off the bedroom upstairs and is so beautiful. You are near Niles Beach, Rocky Neck (which has the wonderful The Studio restaurant you can walk to - biggest outside dining deck in Gloucester) and the harbor. The house is completely renovated, and has the most comfortable beds and rooms my sister and I have rented in the area. Don't hesitate to rent! You can get to anyplace quickly and come back to a beautiful quiet home. We will be back, hopefully this autumn.

Fantastic Beach Stay, with a toddler!
We enjoyed the house and its light-filled rooms, beautiful views, and new appliances. The upstairs area was great for our toddler--we brought a safety gate for the stairs and wished we could have made it darker for nap time. Excellent, timely responses from the host when we had questions. Would definitely come back! Niles Beach is lovely and great for swimming, lounging, and collecting.
