I loved it, so quiet and peaceful and had everything I needed. Bed really comfy and the little details were so nice like the fancy kettle! Nice to be greeted by some rabbits on arrival too.
hard to find a negative but if I had to say something then it's more on me than the host! I can't be trusted with fragile china tea cups. They were very pretty but I was on pins knowing how clumsy I am (not the fault of the property at all and I thought it was actually a really nice touch). Managed not to break anything though, PHEW! Also a full length mirror might have been useful as (again, more on me than the hosts) I wasn't entirely convinced I'd dressed myself properly all day haha

Very quite location, that is why I choose it. It didn't disappoint.
The room was on the small side, but OK.
4.1
It was very clean and the hosts were friendly and very helpful
No windows in room so was very warm even with the fan. The double doors opened directly into the courtyard so wasn't an option to leave open overnight. Amenities tray was OK but maybe offer a biscuit. No breakfast which was perfectly fine for us but there was no information on local amenities which would help those unfamiliar with the area.

Lovely quiet rural setting - perfect peace and quiet
So much potential here and evidence the owner is looking at adding to the complex
Mattresses a little soft

Beautiful location quiet area. Easy parking. Lovely cottage feel in room. Lots of tea and coffee in room with pretty cups. We loved the bar area with the dart board to play with. Nice big bath with shower in our en suite. Pretty area to sit outside our room, lots of flowers. Short drive to Mansfield lots of places to eat with our children. Easy self check in and check out. Staff very polite and helpful with messages.
Broken shelf above sink in our bathroom. Bed sheet and pillows were clean but the duvet covers on both beds did have quite a few stains on. Bed was comfortable but so creaky! Bar area wasnt clean. Had dirty cups left on table with mould inside.

The location was lovely with doors that open to the outside courtyard.
It was reasonably priced and would stay again.
The 80s/90s bathroom was a trip down memory lane.
The room was small with a narrow walkway around the bed so had to step over suitcases when going around the bed.

Clean room and bathroom. Very quiet area. Comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Very reasonable price. Ample tea and coffee supplies with decaf options available.

Good location for the wedding we were attending.
No staff present during our stay. Felt bewildered when arrived to find nobody there to check us in. No instructions given by email either. It was all a bit surreal.

Great location. The hosts were amazing, left you to your own devices, helped wherever they could to make your stay as good as it could be.

Location, great countryside and peaceful.
No welcome, no information, no WiFi password.
Shame no offer of breakfast.
The room with a bar was unwelcoming with dirty glasses. Not been cleaned from previous guests.
Shame really as it would not have taken much effort.
Thus my overall score is 5 from 10.
Impressions count in hospitality.

It’s location men’s you have to travel by car taxi bus etc it’s a bit far to walk anywhere .

This was perfect accommodation for my short stay in the area. No fuss, everything as expected, nice clean room and good internet access and would gladly go back for business or leisure if I needed to return to the area.

Kept hearing a noise all during the night sounded like the boiler come on every 15 mins very load

Staff very friendly and the lodge situated in a beautiful area. The rooms were very clean.
Rooms tiny. No dressing table to get ready. Our room had no mirror in the room, only in the bathroom.

Location close to relatives. Comfortable beds and cosy room.
Heating was not on when we arrived but this was soon rectified.

It’s a beautiful place.
The hot water was not hot enough and hardly to provide for two people.

Comfy Bed & TV. Seemed chilly in the room when I arrived but once the heating had been on for a while it did get rather cozy.
Bathroom dated and freezing cold (I generally stayed out of there because I could see my breathe). Privacy screens on windows meant to couldn’t enjoy the view.

The location is absolutely stunning, Very scenic and quiet. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the bedding was fresh and crisp. The owners were so lovely, my brother and I could not get a taxi so he dropped us off the meet our family.

Beautiful location which feels remote, but you're also close to amenities. Room was very comfortable and perfect for a good sleep. A home away from home.

Stunning location, it seems like you're in the middle of nowhere when in fact you're just minutes away from a Sainsbury's local and a couple of pubs which serve excellent food and drink.
The room was quiet, the scenery beautiful and parking ample. The room was a little chilly when I got there but it was the end of October but warmed up in a matter of minutes with the heating available. I particularly liked the quirky electric kettle !!

The setting of the lodge is fantastic. Out your room the french doors lead to a beautiful courtyard for outdoor seating and more. Rooms have everything you need, during my stay, this property hints on even more improvements going forward, therefore can only improve on what is already a fantastic stay

No breakfast offered and the nearest place recommended didn't open until 9.30. Chamber maid barged straight into the room without knocking, before 8.30 and while we were still in bed.

Breakfast was good but it was the location that was outstanding - the view from the breakfast room across the beautiful garden and the surrounding area was exceptional plus a lovely comfortable en suite room.
Can't think of anything I didn't like.

Lovely converted barn.
Owner was very friendly
No breakfast
Shower pressure was terrible barely a trickle.
Another couple woke me up at 00:30 as they couldn't get into their room as external door was locked.
Had I been told they were coming I would have left the external door open for them.

We loved the frjendly owner, and the little bar area with games , and an honesty box for any drinks from the bar . The place is lovely and peaceful, too.
Nothing.

Nice clean and comfortable room. Shower was good. Excellent value for money. Can't complain about anything.
