This is a lovely property w beautiful grounds and the added benefit for horse lovers of lodging at a top tier performance horse training & breeding farm. Our 3 bedroom cottage was a well equipped & lovely spacious lodging! Even breakfast staples including eggs, croissants butter, cheese and fruit were left for us. We really enjoyed the horse facility tour incl seeing some of the horses

Setting was wonderful. Staff excellent and accommodation very clean and well maintained.
10.0 / 10.0

Such a beautiful place to stay in the countryside of Normandy. Very comfortable and amazing value for cost. Beautifully decorated and so much better than what we were expecting. Would stay again and recommend it in a heartbeat. Appreciated the bottle of cider and breakfast left for us. Easy to communicate with hosts.
Nothing not to like.

Excellent location to explore Normandy and D-day beaches. Beautiful cottage on working equestrian farm and was even given a tour of the farm and stables. Staff very helpful and friendly. Accommodation like something out of a movie. Couldn't praise it more.

This was the best stay of a two week trip through France. The lodging and property were wonderful. Carol and the staff made us feel very welcome and at home. That aside, the horse farm itself and property are fabulous to walk and see. We will go back and highly recommend to others.

We found the curtains instead of doors to the bathrooms a little inconvenient.

The location is stunning and perfect for a family holiday. It was wonderful for to see the horses in the fields outside our gite and the equestrians training the horses. The gite is well equipped with BBQ and even bikes you can freely use.

This was definitely one of the best gites we ever stayed in. Fantastic for kids - they can play outside, with sweet dogs, lots of horses around and a safe and beautiful parc, were they can run freely. No noise, huge gite with a big kitchen , very kind host ( thank you Caroline for taking good care of us)!

The place was amazing! Absolutely beautiful property and the rooms were incredible. Staff were very sweet and helpful. We had the most amazing dinner on a deck under the willow tree, absolutely stunning and wonderful!
That I couldn’t stay longer! But will be back.

This place is magic! What a great idea to create a place to stay in the middle of a horse farm. We are very found of horses, so when we found this place and saw the pictures, we were in awe. And in reality it was even more stunning. The staff was amazing: super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was heavenly: we could even choose between 3 menus. The fact that they bring your breakfast to the cottage at the requested time, is super practical. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very authentic. We also got a free tour in the stables and everyone was super nice. And waking up to the sound of horses, playing with the many dogs on the property and being able to walk freely along the pastures, was a perfect beginning of our day. We didn't get the chance to meet the owner, but we did have a chat with her parents who were wonderful people. We will definitely come back when we are in the region!
We stayed in "Le Parisien". The only thing that I was a bit missing, are a towel rack and a shelf in the bathroom (to put your toiletries). But the bathroom was very small, so you have to be creative to fit that in. ;-)

Beautiful spacious holiday home. We were pleasantly surprised to find coffee, bin liners, dish washer tablets, etc. in the house. Very practical!
The creaky double bed would wake you when you turn.

Breakfast was very good, host brilliant.
Can only recommend this place.

The setting was stunning, beautiful surroundings and ideally placed for visiting Utah and Omaha beaches and other places of interest.
Checking in we were warmly welcomed by Carole who was very helpful and there if we needed anything
The 'welcome pack' -bread, fruit cheese butter, milk and cider- was just that after a long journey from Calais. A quick trip to the supermarket in nearby Carentan meant we were well set up for our stay.
There was nothing to dislike and I would certainly return.

Holiday Home, Haras du Ry truly exceeded our expectations. The setting is phenomenal...quaint, charming and horses in the background. The Lismore cottage was quite comfortable for 4 adults, and the hosts went out of their way to meet our needs. You can order fresh pastries/bread to be delivered every morning and we were welcomed with butter, cheese, eggs and bread! Ample parking is available at the cottage

The gite and surrounding property were absolutely gorgeous. The staff (Jemma, Carole, and Jean) were all so helpful and kind. We were greeted and shown around upon arrival. There was cidre, milk, Brie and butter in the fridge, and fruit, baguette and croissants on the counter. There were both a French press machine with grounds and a Nespresso machine with pods. The gite was spacious and comfortable. We loved our stay and hope to come back.

10/10 would recommend! We reserved two cottages for 8 people. Due to a booking error, half of our group was upgraded to the large luxury cottage. It was a perfect gathering spot for our 3 generations of family. The facilities were comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. The grounds and horse facility tour was impressive. Stunning. The workers were friendly and anticipated our needs. Fabulous and memorable vacation. Will return and recommend to others.
Nothing.
