About this cabin rental
Welcome to our newly renovated, luxury log cabin nestled in the heart of the awe-inspiring Rhinog Mountains. Our cabin is situated on the edge of the world-class mountain-biking facility at Coed y Brenin and is a short drive to some of the most amazing walks and scenery that the UK has to offer.
Our cozy cabin can sleep up to 6 people between our double bedroom, bunk-bed room and double sofa bed, with freshly cleaned bed linens supplied for all our visitors. Our open-plan living area boasts ample cooking and dining space. Our kitchen has all the amenities that you’d expect such as fridge, small freezer, hob, oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. Our bathroom features a large shower cubicle, perfect for getting clean after climbing Snowden or surfing at Barmouth (both only 30 mins away - please bring your own towels).
Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is a tranquil site featuring a well-equipped children’s play area and both a launderette and shop on-site. We are surrounded by attractions and activities suitable for all, from families to adrenaline-junkies. Medieval castles, sandy beaches, slate caverns, steam trains, downhill mountain biking, the highest mountain in Wales and and the world famous Italianate village of Portmerion (made famous in 'The Prisoner’) are all under 30 minutes drive away, and if you don’t fancy driving you can walk directly from the Holiday Village into the beautiful rolling greenery of the Welsh countryside.
We are a pet-friendly cabin (two dogs maximum please), and our raised decking area is fenced-in to ensure the safety of pets and small children since there is a babbling brook that runs through the garden space, providing a relaxing soundtrack to your evening drinks or al-fresco meals.

The location and area are absolutely stunning. On arrival however there was no water or electricity, this was sorted quickly though. The cabin could have been cleaner and for colder nights could benefit from more heating.
As above though the scenery and views are incredible.

A lovely location and cabin. Really enjoyed our stay. Clear, timely communication from the hosts with a comprehensive pack of details/instructions available. Would definitely come back.

Lovely home from home, fabulous views.

Everything on the property was new and clean. WIFI worked perfect and that communication with the owner was seamless. All great.
The best thing were:
- The views, you can enjoy any of your meals with one of the best scenary ever, and
- The shower! great pressure to relax after a long day pedalling.
We missed:
Though all the list is precise and all worked there were 2 things we missed, nevertheless, I still keep my rating at 5 stars
- Washing machine. There's a laundrette where you can wash and dry your clothes but we missed the convenience to have it at the place we were staying.
- Dishwasher. washing dishes is an additional chore that we don't normally do at home. It's faff to do it in your holidays.
Veredict? TOTALLY RECOMMENDED!
