The room itself was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The hotel overall is quite dated, from the walls to the carpet to the lobby furnishings. It was just what we needed for a last minute overnight near SLC airport.
2.5 / 5.0
Great place for a night, close to the airport.

The person checking me in seem to have a little experience and when I asked for a wake up call, I was told that I should use my mobile phone. I would’ve done that, but it was dying and there was no clock in the room.

Check in clerk was rude and combative. Restaurant took 25 minutes and still couldn't get out a breakfast with 3 eggs. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Surrounding area wasn't bad, it just not a place where you stay for local amenities.

TV did not work upon arrival. Took 2 1/2 hours to get it fixed. Fix lasted 10 minutes and took another hour to get it fixed again. Desk clerk then came back 20 minutes later with a different remote to fix the TV should the problem arise again. Shortly thereafter the problem came back and the new remote did not fix it. The remote did not have any batteries in it. I called the desk for batteries and he did not bring them up for another hour.
While waiting for the TV to be fixed the first time, we went down to the restaurant for dinner. The only person we saw working was the bartender who was also the waiter, server, and busboy. May have been the cook as well for all I know. He was trying hard but was overwhelmed. He brought out two of our appetizers with our meals and the third appetizer did not come out until we had finished eating. We sent it back and he did remove it from the bill. Despite this the food was good and reasonably priced. Should I be in the Salt Lake City area again, I will not stay at this Radisson.

Terrible

A good option if you need a place to stay after or before your flight.

Our air-conditioner was not on when we got to our room. We turned it on and fiqured it would be nice and cool by our return. Not even. The next morning it started to cool down. That was our only downfall for our stay

We saw a bug crawling on the mattress. Still in disbelief. We are now spending our vacation fumigating our belongings to prevent bed bugs. Awful experience.

The staff was very nice.

We had a three nights stay at Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Airport. This place was characterized by wear and tear, and has obviously seen better days. This applies to the outside as well as the inside. The external woodwork around the roof and windows had dried out and cracked, and not been properly maintained. This did not affect our stay directly, but made a negative contribution to the overall impression of the place. In the bathroom, the joints around the tiles on the floor were partly broken and the shower head leaked/dripped when being used.
When we were going to use the toilet for the first time, it was already clogged from the previous resident. The water drained very slowly. We notified reception the next morning before leaving for the day. When returning in the evening, the hotel had rectified the problem, but after flushing the toilet 3 times (only urinating), it was clogged again. We notified reception, and they rectified this again the next day. But after 4 or 5 more flushes, it was clogged over again. This was repeated every day. We did not feel comfortable taking a dump in this toilet and had to use the hotel's communal toilets instead. This shouldn't have been necessary.
The cleaning of the hotel room was acceptable but mediocre. There were dust balls left near the headboard, and it was not cleaned under the beds. The staff consisted mostly of immigrants who spoke poor English. The hotel’s restaurant was ok.

I reserved this hotel AND purchased travel insurance. I was unable to arrive in Salt Lake City because of the cyber /server issue across the world. They will NOT refund my money! And you know darn well, someone that was stuck in Salt Lake City reserved the room that I had to cancel because of the world wide server issue. I will never stay at a Radisson again.

I liked that the desk is open 24 hours and the shuttle operates 24 hours. This is so important when you are delayed in your flight and you do not need to worry about checking in. Nice and close to airport. Friendly staff and friendly shuttle driver. Highly recommend for business travelers.

We didn't have hot water for two days. They didn't provide a bath mat. The breakfast was pathetic.
2.0 / 5.0
No ironing board. No soap in our room.
2.0 / 5.0
There was very little parking for guests. Once in the room the air conditioning didn’t work and there was no soap for showers or to wash your hands. I asked the cleaning staff for soap and they said to use the shampoo or conditioner. There were also tissue dispensers but no tissue boxes. We had to move rooms to get working air conditioner. The lobby is quite nice but the rest of the property was old, dated and dirty.

Slow check-in. Not a big deal. AC didn't seem to start working until about 10pm and it was a HOT day in Salt Lake City. Had to go to bed early for an early flight and couldn't get to sleep because it was so warm.

It was a horrible experience. The restroom was very poor quality and the shower was rusted. The bed sheets were damaged with holes everywhere.

The manager at the time just didnt give us any attention what so ever.
That evening we wanted to take a shower and there was no hot water. He said he just turned on the water heater and that it would take 15 minutes to warm up.
Our t.v. didnt have picture to watch the news. We called him again. He said he would be up and check it, he never showed up.

The hotel was clean but old. The air conditioning did not work. I was in two different rooms and neither one of them had air conditioning. It was over 86° in my room the entire visit I would not stay here again.

We stayed over a weekend. No one spoke english, So they said. I heard alot of no English no English. The bar was closed all weekend because the bartender called in. The cook was also gone. So some lady just got put there. She also didn't speak English. No pool no gym no outside area to sit. We were also told in order for housekeeping to give us more towels or touch up our room we needed to give 24 hour notice. So we constantly had to run find someone for anything we needed. So if your looking to just sleep great. But no food drinks towel stay somewhere else.

There were not enough towels in the room, couldn't get the room serviced, 1 ice machine for the entire complex located on the 1st floor at the farthest end, no signage for directions to the pool, 5.00 dollars per person for breakfast that only had cerael, bread and waffles and was advertised as free breakfast.

We arrived at midnight go to the room and there isn't any soap to wash our hands. My husband goes down and they give him a sliver of soap(which was gone after we washed our hands) Realized there wasn't any washclothes. Went back downstairs to get those. The next morning, we turn on the TV and it does not work. They did bring in another one. The curtains had dirt smeared on them.

The night we check in, the front desk needs to call a police, for few person inside the hotel lobby are laiming that they have rooms that they don not need it, and that they are offering to guest at lower cost, guest are scared to get out of there rooms, for people in the lobby are yelling.

We were checked in by a lovely friendly gentleman who made us feel so welcome. They kept our bags safe in holding whilst we ventured out. When we came back, the gentleman had upgraded us to an amazing suite, so clean and tidy and the whole room was just amazing! So kind of the gentleman and it was such a lovely surprise. Cold water at reception which is always great! Couldn’t fault the service here

Troy at the bar was a true gem! From arriving at the hotel to getting into our room, we waiting over an hour in line. Not to mention, he waited for 40 minutes for the shuttle which was a tiny shuttle.
2.0 / 5.0
The room was hot, the shower water was luke-warm at best, no vending machines or anything "extra". The front desk staff was not attentive. No "free" breakfast. We literally were charged for everything they could charge for, and the property was mediocre at best.
