This stay was one of the worst stays I have ever had at a marriot hotel. We came down to this marriot for a funeral for a close family member during the weekend of a large state fair and a concert for a popular pop star sabrina carpenter. We called ahead about early availability and staff had told us the room would be available after 11:00am We missed the majority of the wake due to our room not being ready until 4:00pm! Staff was incredibly unfriendly and unwilling to fix mistakes they had made citing they were "busy". To make matters worse, the staff had talked about how we were terrible customers using our full names and room number in public at the front desk in front over other customers. They were so loud that I was listening in from the other side of the lobby and could hear them clearly. The room we were placed in was in bad condition, with the smoke detector ripped off the ceiling and wall paper partially peeled off. No complimentary water is found in the room. If you can avoid this marriot please do so

The location was very good because it was across the street from a mall which had numerous restaurants from which to choose and good shopping.The hotel lobby was inviting. The staff at reception were not attentive the night we checked in. I knew in advance that parking was$10a night but there was no need to charge this during our stay because the lot was nearly empty each day. I think it should only be charged when the hotel is at capacity. The pool was nice but the outdoor seating is showing signs of wear and tear. Our room was small, comparing it to our room at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square NY. It was very quiet, overall comfortable not it is time to pay more attention to detail in cleaning the grout and caulking in the shower. Also, the shower is very low flow, which is not enjoyable. When we requested extra towels they came immediately and we requested a quiet room on top floor; it was granted without hesitation. The breakfast at Braise was delicious and the food we ordered from the kitchen at night was really delicious, piping hot and had the offerings we desired.

This was the perfect place to stay for a quick overnight. Very clean and comfortable with an upscale vibe, accessible parking, and very friendly staff. Very close to the airport but no airport noise!

I always try to stay here when traveling to Raleigh. This hotel is located in a convenient, safe part of the city. However, my last few stays have gone down hill and I plan to find a new hotel going forward. The first room they gave me had an odd smell and was dusty. Appeared unused for some time. The second room was slightly better but the duvet, window blind and carpet were all torn. At this price point, the room should not look like this. I didn't ask to be moved again, I plan on finding nicer accommodations the next time I'm in Raleigh. Very disappointed.

One of the ladies at the reception desk was very rude, the parking lot was always full and lacked parking spaces and they charged $10 a day.

A lot of the staff are very rude, there is no overflow parking for events. So if there is an event going on at the hotel, your screwed. Also, you have to pay for parking, breakfast and no late check out was given.

Even before we walked in the Lobby, we knew we were going to have a wonderful experience. Everything looked great. The Lobby was majestic and our room was clean and spacious.

Staff was friendly and courteous at all hours of all day and night. One gentleman working Thursday night was super nice I dont remember his name but he was a comic book fan like my son and got my son to engage in conversation upon arrival.

PROs- location , room was ok CONs - no free breakfast , 10$ parking fee !!! No good restaurant inside .. Had been to a cricket match in NC and booked a room here , to be close to the ground . Location wise it was good . Lots of shopping options near this hotel. There is a mall right opposite to the hotel . Rooms were good . Nice and spacey .. restrooms were neat and clean. Came believe they charge 10$ for parking ! Have never ever paid for parking in my life , especially when it is an open parking which adds dust to ur car.. it’s not even crowded . My car was one of the 10 other cars in the huge parking lot , which is outside the hotel . And no free breakfast for a 150$ hotel ! There were so many other restaurants nearby that gave free breakfast . There is not even a good restaurant/ food spot inside the hotel . Quite disappointed with Marriott on this . Thought of giving a 2 star but gave 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ because of the location and bar service .

The hotel was great. Our only disappointment was breakfast. They didn't offer the buffet, so the waitress we had was terrible. (Oomie)she had a horrible disposition and it seemed as if only with oir table. Our food came cold, she never acknowledged us when we tried speaking with her,and her overall aura was very ugly.

I enjoyed my stay here a lot, the pool, room and lounge area were great.Jim with the concierge service was Wonderful.He provided excellent service. If I'm ever in the Raleigh area I'll be definitely coming back here to stay again. 🙂

We always stay here when we visit our son as it is close, has good, facilities and it's kitchen is open until 12:30am. The only thing that wasn't good this time was that only 1 out of 3 elevators was operating. Not good - but we figured that repairs would be shortly forthcoming.

Came in and it was a beautiful lobby. Workers tended to us fast and easy. So far so good ! Would recommend to come again. For the parents that don’t know, this hotel has cribs provided, you just need to ask the front desk. Parking was across and not too far , so it was nice.

The receptionist on check-in was not very happy. It appeared that we were a nuisance to him. We found 2 used Q tips on the floor when we checked into our room. Eco-friendly? I didn’t see any recycling containers on site. Lastly- we hoped to spend a few hours by the pool. They were paving the parking lot adjacent to the pool. There was a constant dust cloud coming from the equipment.

OK property but not worth the price. Probably won't select this one again. Breakfast rate through Expedia was great - we paid $9 ( tip) for a $71 breakfast for family of four. Plan to pay $10 a night to park and another $10 for internet. It all adds up to a poor value.
