Tremendous overall experience. The hotel was wonderful (just know there is not a real pool) but the best part was the staff which top to bottom get an A+. Will absolutely go back.

Very disappointed in my stay. I booked a Malibu suite. The shades didn’t open all the way, very flimsy, didn’t allow check in until 4pm and I was celebrating my birthday with no DJ at penthouse restaurant like they said there would be. Awful awful experience and all they offered was refund of resort fees. Do better Huntley.

Location was great, close to Third Street Promenade and the ocean. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. There is also nearby overnight public parking to save on the valet-only hotel parking...$25 vs $47, roughly.

Really nice and peaceful hotel which is close to the beaches. Staff were excellent particularly at the front desk. There is a concierge service but this was always busy so book in advances Considering the price of a hotel I would expect better amenities eg pool but they have an outdoor jacuzzi outside the property. The price of the coffee shop is very high (2 dollars plus tax for one banana!) but it is a good amenity.

We just stayed for one night, but had a great time. The hotel is walking distance to the pier, but it's about a 2 mile walk. Staff was friendly and efficient. The penthouse restaurant really could use an upgrade, but the views are tremendous.

Great view., though the most unobstructed one was from the bathroom of all places. Coffee shop did not open until 10:00am. Pain to go back up to roof or down the street. $55.00 a night to park your car. Short staffed in the garage and with bell hops. Long waits.

I will not recommend this hotel because they made me feel that I could not provide enough funds to cover my entire stay. They also did not provide breakfast inclusive of stay, parking additional, this is usually included with such an exclusive hotel. Room cleaning not done daily, terrible.

This hotel is absolutely sublime. Idyllic. Magical. Absolutely perfect for our one week stay in Santa Monica. A short walk to the beach and the shopping and dining on the Promenade. Every single staff person was lovely and very helpful, and wanted to make everything perfect for us. We used both the Huntley car service and valet partking, and we appreciated the staff attentiveness. I would highly recommend, and we will be back!

As you can see beautiful property. Thats no suprise.I was However, very impressed with how quickly the staff responded to things like, retrieving my car or bringing extra towels and toothpaste. Ill even admit I was a bit grumpy when I arrived and wasnt the most hospitable person, But the staff stayed professional and friendly to which prompted my apologies. The people here care about service to others and their staff are clearly the correct choice of people for the job.

I had an amazing stay at the Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the room was both luxurious and comfortable with stunning ocean views. A special touch was the complimentary gift they sent for my girlfriend birthday, which made our stay even more memorable. Dining at The Penthouse was a highlight—the food was delicious, and the views were spectacular. The hotel's location, just a short walk from the beach, was perfect for exploring Santa Monica. Overall, the Huntley Hotel exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return!

Hotel location was great! Was disappointed that there wasn’t a pool, but they did have a cute little courtyard area with a hot tub that was nice. The restaurant on the top floor was great for a drink and the location was great for walking to the pier, the promenade, and to local restaurants.

Nice location, and it has potential. However, the service was very poor. We checked in during the afternoon, and after a significant wait, we were told that they had lost the ability to make keys, so the bellman would have to let us in the room. The bellman proceeded to take off twice without us, so we had to scramble to find someone else to let us in the room. We also had to go back that evening to get a key and saw an irate customer whose bags had been removed from his room. He was not treated well. We waited in line at least 20 minutes, and several people cut in front of us, and after one guest was done, the person at the front desk just looked down for 5-10 minutes ignoring us. She told us she was new, which I understand, but this cannot happen. The "front desk" is two people sitting at a small desk using their computer to check people in - it does not work. We spent over an hour total waiting on them. I asked the manager to call me and was promised that he would, but I never heard from him. The very clear message I got during the entire stay was "we don't care about you." I would strongly discourage others from staying at this hotel, which is too bad because it has potential, and I NEVER make such a recommendation.

Power was off at the hotel during a planned outage. Why was the hotel accepting reservations if they knew they were conducting this kind of maintenance. Hotel staff were like: “it is what it is so take it or leave it.” So I decided to leave a one-star review. If you guys are doing major renovations or tests on your property make sure you tell a.) your guests and b.) the booking companies you use to market your property.
