The trash can in my room had not been emptied from the prior tenant

Standard affair. Room was clean. Hotel and room show some wear. Location was pretty good and within walking distance to pretty much everything in the downtown area.

- check-in has issues, make us do paper form, and it does not get resolved even the next day. Saw new customers coming in and still do paper form for check-in
- ice machine not working in every floor
- poor services
4.1
Property good and a good area, the only bad thing was that it was pretty loud whe people on the floor above us where walking, is real possible that is missing more sound insulation in between floors.

I booked this stay for my wedding anniversary. My husband and I planned on dinner and a night away from our busy house in Bountiful. When we got to the hotel we noticed that it is next to a nightclub. We were immediately concerned and asked to be on the opposite side of the hotel. The man at the counter assured us we were. We were not. After returning from dinner and drinks, we attempted to get some much need rest before returning home to our kids and pets. After struggling to sleep, my husband called the front desk. This was a different individual. He tried to tell us the loud music and heavy bass were coming from the parking lot and that the police had been called. We knew this was a lie because of the nightclub. It was then that we noticed the "complimentary" earplugs. This means the hotel knows this is an issue and does nothing to inform guests before they book. These earplugs were also a joke since, even if they would have "solved" the problem, there was only one pair. By this point we were wide awake and decided we would be better off going home. The front desk told us we would have to take a refund up with the manager. We had already contacted Expedia, so we decided to let the process run its course. We could not imagine that management would NOT do the right thing. And, the best the gentle the front desk had to say to us as we left was that the music had ended. Unfortunately, the manager did NOT refund any portion of our stay despite the fact that we got no sleep,

Construction was not optimal, as we could hear an overhead guest walking around loudly. Unfortunately they were up and moving late at night.

The hotel was real clean . Only problem was they gave us a room on the busy street side. Lots of noise at night

Staff was great

The staff was very friendly. My room was comfortable. I was visiting my son at the university so it was an easy location to come and go from.

We were given a room on the busy street. It happens sometimes but we are also Bonvoy members and there was no benefit for a better room. It’s surprising. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

Good service

$10 per night for parking on top of cost of the room. A two night stay cost us $457 with all taxes, fees, and parking costs. The hotel is an older hotel that has been remodeled and updated really well. The walls are very thin— we could hear the people in the room next to us talking, and the dogs barking in the room on the other side of us. The staff was friendly, but the woman that checked us in told us that breakfast was from 7am to 10am but when we got down to breakfast at 9:30am, it was being put away. We explained to the breakfast staff why we were there “late” but they wouldn’t stop putting breakfast away. It was a bit frustrating. The hotel was clean and close to everything downtown— we walked to the delta center with our 8 year old and 4 month old in a stroller just fine. Maps says it’s an 18 minute walk from the hotel to the delta center, but it only took us maybe 15 minutes.

Did not live up to brand standards. Hotel was in poor shape and appeared to be poorly built. Several ceiling tiles were missing and work was apparently being done on the hot water system as there was no hot water in the morning.
Room included ear plugs, which were necessary as the walls and doors did little to keep out noise. Could hear conversations in the neighboring rooms and those in the room above.
Bed was clean & comfortable and there was a cover on the mattress (which was a plus)
Breakfast was exactly what you would expect from a Fairfield.
Would not choose to stay here again.

We had a problem with the door key-card had to go get it redone, plus thete was no hotwater till late last night, wasnt happy to pay $10 to park, if we had family or guests then i would agree.

Old building crappy remodeling

The room was great. Quiet, clean. The receptionist who checked us in late afternoon 10/13 did the barest minimum. Barely spoke a word. Never offered any info on the wifi or breakfast unless prodded to do so. A smile would have gone a long way.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. My only complaint was that the bathroom didn’t get get enough light, but I would stay there again.

Dirty and unsafe
Food was groooosssss
4.1
housekeeping did not visit our room, even though I spoke to both the front desk and the housekeeper in person as she got off the elevator on our floor.
The floor had a broken ice maker; had to find the pool to access the working unit to obtain ice.
Pretty disappointing in a upscale property like Fairfield.

Breakfast could be better. Healthier options.

It was meh, construction going on next door and and the noise began at 7am. The breakfast was so mediocre, I really thought they’d offer more but even other guest were asking for decaf coffee and they said they only make one pot for breakfast and no more. Definitely not worth it.
4.1
The outdoor seating and walkway shown in your pictures of the property do not exist. I took a picture if you would like to see, full of construction

Nice and clean hotel. Close to downtown and also close to the airport. Very friendly people.

Weekends are a no go for this property. They are direct adjacent to the Ibiza Club. We had deafening music until 01:45 every night. The staff were amazing and the place was clean. We missed breakfast…. Slept right thru on the last day.

We have stayed her a few times and it’s been great. The staff is friendly and overall the place is clean. This last time we stayed the shower wash wasn’t filled and left pretty empty, but other than that it was good.

The people where extremely noisy, usb ports didnt work in room, heating system kept having to be turn off and on at the thermostat to get the room to a comfortable temp.

The staff was amazing but the area had homeless people and it felt unsafe.

Staff was very helpful in telling us places to have dinner. Rooms were lovely and sparkling clean
Enjoyed the pool.

Great !

The included breakfast was good and location is great - walking distance to lots of other restaurants. Gym had dumbbells, a bench & some cardio machines - not great, not the worst.
Room smelled faintly of smoke. Dated wallpaper & carpet, lights not very bright. No lotion, skin-drying soap.

Hotel was ok for the most part. Clean but beds were uncomfortable. Paying $10 for parking was very disappointing. I’ve never done that at a hotel. We had a horrible experience when we got up to eat breakfast. Most of the food was gone I asked for more food and the employee working was very rude and unprofessional. Ruined my whole stay there at Fairfield.

Wish there was a hot tub.
