Room was great the pillow sucks but everything else was great

My son and I had a great stay at this hotel. Unfortunately they didn't have a 2x queen bedroom like we had booked, so they gave us a king bed to share instead. They gave us a credit for a free breakfast in place to make up for the error which was decent and appreciated.

Everything was great up until the DJ in the atrium on Saturday night. He was absolutely unfriendly and unapproachable. He has his hood on the entire time and at one point yelled at one of my friends to be quiet. It was 11:00 and he is playing music and she was singing. I would highly recommend the hotel rethinks his services. He brought our experience that night down considering she food, service, and drinks were stellar yet we almost went to our room because of him.

I was sick for days after I stayed.

We had a great time at the W in Seattle. Everything from check-in to check-out was amazing, the bar was fun, in-room food service was spectacular. Location was perfect, it seemed that nearly everything we wanted to do or see was within walking distance. We especially loved Garrett from room service, who went out of his way for us a few times and was always cheerful! We hope to see him again on our future visits!

There's a 28 dollar resort fee tacked on when you show up, which you cannot decline. This kind of stuff is baloney.

Parking was limited rooms were over priced and there’s was no pool at the hotel for the price

Parking is convenient but expensive. Location is great. Would be ideal if it were more family friendly - eg. pool and dining

Check in was late. Nice hotel, easy access to light rail.

Great location for easy access to the stadium for Metallica M72 concerts!!

Upon check in. The concierge proceeded to tell me that the area we were in was dangerous, I could be raped, killed or mugged if I went outside the property. We were promised parking, and did not get it. After hearing the comments by the concierge, I had to park in a lot down the street, I had to go 6 levels up and walk down. I was terrified. The hotel had no refrigerator, or no microwave, I paid for 3 days and left early because I was afraid to go out and shop and do anything at all. I would never stay there again.

This is not tje W hotel standard as I have experienced travelling in Europe. Hotels needs refurbishment. Poor breakfast service and poor hotel lobby bar. Faded glory. Most astonishing was the sound of the airo on/off sound like a door was smashed

Friendly and helpful staff. Great area, easy walking to local places in Seattle.

Parking valet is the only option if you want to park in the hotel and the daily parking fee is ridiculously expensive at $60 per night

Property was ok. Pretty average hotel. Lobby looks nice. Front desk service is unorganized and not very friendly. Room was not ready on time. They tried to "upgrade" us from the top floor to a middle floor. Definately told them no. Mountain veiw room even on the 26th floor had no view of the mountains. Just a scam name. Parking is way over priced.

Okay stay….walls kind of thin and it got noisy early….could hear other rooms showers, slamming doors, etc.
But really didn’t like that their checkin/credit card system put an extra 40% dollar hold on my credit card because a 4 night stay is considered a long stay. I have never had that much of an increase on the CC hold and I think it’s a big inconvenience. I’m sure others will be unhappy about it. Might not stay there again because of that…..

The position of the property was great. One block to a Hop on - Hop off bus stop. Easy walking down to the Pike Market. The staff were just so friendly, especially Drew. Loved the bar area.

Overall the stay was fine. It was an incredibly busy weekend and I don't think the hotel was prepared for all of the guests.
We could not get room service.

We stayed for our anniversary but this hotel is on the practical not celebratory or romantic side. The experience feels like those mini business in and out hotels. Customer service was shockingly meh. For as little as asking the front desk for water does not result in directing you to a cup of water located just around the corner. You'll go in circles in such a small place....During breakfast, at their restaurant, we over paid and received very stand offish customer service. Food tastes good but keep it practical and do not ask questions. If you want a cup of water during breakfast, that's a fun experience (not)
Don't come here if you're looking for a relaxing vacay vibe.
Additionally, the room indicated mountain views. A bit misleading because it's not accurate; you get full view of building butts and roofs with a tiny peek of possibly one peak but who knows it was cloudy. Not the point, if you want the true mountains it's on the opposite side. Do not believe them. They try to fool you there.
It's an expensive stay for underwhelming service. I strongly get the sense that most of the front desk staff are just not trained for hospitality. They're in care-less mode with an added splash of attitude. You get the sense recruiting went straight to hiring onboarding without any training.
Lastly, if you want the tickets that are included in your stay to the attractions, make sure you pick them up at the front desk.

Like the vibe of the lobby with music. We attended the Stapleton concert on Saturday night and upon check-in they had County music playing, a pop hat station and great people watching. It set the tone for the stay for sure.

The front desk staff provided a very robotic, awkward, poor ethic, disappointing, and unprofessional service.

property was dirty and outdated If you pay $750 a night
for a room you would think that you would be able to park your car there garage was full so we had to park off property and they wouldn't validate our parking ticket and super rude about it.Definitely the last time we will stay at the W in seattle

Just as I expected well appointed and clean and efficient

No swimming pool. Business center didn't work, they didn't provide an alternative(needed to work on a computer for 20 mins) both computers in business center were down. Front desk agents were rude and not helpful. Property is outdated and overpriced, if you're reading this and considering, book the Fairmont across the street.
