Excellent service. Very polite staff.
Did knock our heads a few times in the cosy room low roof edges, rather hilarious at first. Unfortunately, no mixer tap in our bathroom kids stuck to using the cold tap, hot was too hot. No bath bubbles for the kids, only shower gel & shampoo available, lucky I'd packed my own.
Room service great. Restaurant food fine. Loved the breakfast, lots of variety. Not keen on their vege sausages though.
Overall we enjoyed ourselves. Fabulous short break!

Well located with a 30 min walk into the City Centre or jump on one of the many buses at the end of the road.
Parking is £10 per 24 hours but there were no spaces when we arrived around 4 pm on a Saturday. Fortunately street parking is available after this time and on a Sunday

Located a bit further than expected from old Oxford’s city center.

Lovely clean hotel, extremely friendly reception team, breakfast had so much choice and all very tasty. we had a lovely stay.
4.1
Great hotel available in a quiet neighbourhood of Oxford, very nice clean rooms and friendly staff.
4.1
VERY CONVENIENTLY CLOSE TO WOLFSON COLLEGE.

What did I like has already been covered. That I didn't like was the inadequate parking. We were lucky to find a parking spot on the property forecourt. This was only because we arrived early. Had we not then we would have had a major problem. For this reason I wouldn't recommend this location as suitable for someone wishing to visit Oxford.
4.1
Unlike a number of hotels in Oxford, this one seems to have time and space for its guests. Helpful staff and a spacious breakfast area with decent choice.
4.1
Hotel was a fine tourist hotel, although room was small and no air-conditioning. Breakfast was really busy but acceptable.

Enjoyed our stay!!
4.1
Good comfortable rooms and nice little garden out the back (although like a lot of English hotels, there is no fridge in the room).
Only thing to be aware of for people looking to book accommodation is that it's both a fair way out of town where all the interesting parts of Oxford are and about 15-20 mins walk from the nearest restaurants and shops. As Oxford City Council seems to have a pathological hatred of cars, if you don't want to shell out a fortune on parking then walking is the only way to get round without trying to work out the local buses.
Also be aware the hotel charges £10 a day for parking

Noisy
Very small double rooms
No aircon & downstairs bedroom had no possibility to open window

We were on family vacation, we got room 004, this room was to small for a family of 4. The room had uncomfortable beds, it was not clean, the water in the shower switched from hot to cold. Overall not happy at all with this hotel.
4.1
Hotel and room were dated. Check in service was slow. Elevator was small and old. The bathroom window opened to the roof and couldn’t be locked. Only good thing was the location, in residential neighborhood.
4.1
Overall good, but it was a hot day and the hotel is not air conditioned. The room was very hot and despite an open window at night and a large fan it was difficult to sleep well. Also the shower ran randomly hot and cold, but mostly too hot. Price is reasonable by Oxford standards but pricey for the experience.

Breakfast was great and parking was free. The reception guy was very kind and I appreciated that. Just the location was a bit far from downtown, but I knew that before booking.
4.1
We were given a room with a disabled bathroom which in itself wasn’t a problem but the water pressure on the sink and shower were so high everything in the bathroom got wet. For someone disabled this in our view was dangerous but when we raised it with the reception staff they didn’t seem to be bothered.
4.1
Overall the room was pretty horrible. Lights didn’t work. No plugs beside the bed. Bath didn’t drain. Mould on the ceilings. Window didn’t close. Very expensive for the quality.

Lovely stay for a family wedding in Oxford. Rooms excellent. Service from all staff excellent. Loved the garden areas.

Nice hotel, overall a decent stay.

My husband & I stayed at this hotel for two nights while in Oxford. This hotel is north of the central part of Oxford, but is close to bus access or a 25 minute walk, which made access easy. The staff seemed friendly and efficient. The breakfast that was included was tasty and substantial, with many food choices. The room we had was quite small, making it difficult to have a clear path to walk without luggage in the way. The biggest difficulty we encountered was having a warm shower every morning. The water temperature fluctuated from hot or warm to cold frequently during our showers, even if the shower was brief. My husband skipped his shower the second day as he was frustrated with his experience on the first day. I took an evening shower and the water temperature fluctuations were less pronounced.

The room was fine however even though the windows were open the room was unbelievably hot. In fact the whole hotel was it was like the heating was on. The pillows were too soft.
Breakfast was good nice choices
Parking was good
Good location bus stops nearby very quiet area

Liked setting and location. Appreciated the kind and helpful staff

30mins walking from the center of Oxford. 5 mins walking from The Dragon School. It's better to choose Exacutive room on 1st floor.
staffs are friendly.

Beautiful neighbourhood! Easy and beautiful walk to downtown. Great service, new rooms, very clean.

Good value for money nice rooms but the bed could be better
4.1
It was a very last minute request so the room was a “universal design” one next to the front desk. Naturally it was very noisy in the check-in / check-out peak hours. Other than that, the room was spacious, cosy, clean and reasonably priced. The environment was perfect too - although I used to live in the city over a decade, I’ve never found this area so attractive. A hidden gem in fact. I’ll def use it again by booking one well in advance!

Only thing that wasn’t brilliant was the shower which became really hot. Other than this comfortable, clean, helpful and great breakfast.

Hotel was lovely. View was of car park. Booked twin bed room. Given double bed room wirh a fold out chair. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were great.

We have stayed here many times. Excellent spot only 20 minutes walk from the city centre. Good breakfast and friendly staff
4.1
Desk staff was “in training” and directed me to the wrong elevator. It was a hassle getting back to desk to ask for more info. Also, no refrigerator. Hot and cold faucets are separate and you can easily scald during a bath. No replacement bath gels left after cleaning. Thin walls. Crying baby next room.

It was ok. We had a drink i the bar and staff were fine but i feel it was over priced. Ssme standard as a travelodge so unsure why so much more
4.1
We were given an upgrade on arrival which was great and to be honest it was excellent fort the whole stay!! On arrival the young lady on reception was very pleasant and helpful all with a smile!! We were given room 3 executive room which looked out at the lovely well kept garden, the room was clean ok a few dark bits of grouting around the bath but nothing that over bothered me!! The size of the room was great really spacious and very clean!!! There was a tv room down by reception which was clean and tidy also a small bar area which was very pleasant!! The breakfast in the morning was great so much choice and constantly being replenished everything you could want from pastries, muffins, fruit, full English, meats, yogurts and much more!!! Would definitely use again.A very enjoyable stay

Lovely location, about 20 minutes walk from the centre which we enjoyed doing.
Really nice little hotel/lodge, the only downside was the room service ordering, we ordered two drinks to come to our room which were not complicated drinks and they took 45 minutes, and during this time my partner had to go and remind them to make them twice, and he ended up bringing them back to the room even though I had to pay £2.50 for delivery to the room.

Second time at the hotel. Great value, big and clean rooms. Wonderful breakfast, only few minutes by taxi to the heart of Oxford. Will certainly be back soon.
4.1
Very clean room and comfortable bed. However, there was no way to connect to the WiFi from my room. There was no menu (or QR code for it) in the room. Coffees were not always replaced when the room was serviced. Very poor service overall.

It was ok

Nice bright, clean, spacious hotel. Very good location for a pleasant walk to the centre of Oxford. Good bus route, too.

The room we stayed in was off of the main lobby. It was very loud.

Great location, comfortable and spacious rooms, and very friendly/helpful staff.
