Ok place to stop and sleep for a few hours. There was a sewage odor in the room but it was clean, cold and cheap.

I work in Blythe, and since there are more hotel rooms than people in the community, I have to rent a room 4 days a week. I've stayed at this hotel twice. The first time was mostly fine, though the employee made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The room was comfortable and updated, though the shower didn't have a way to stop water from spreading out on the floor.
On the second occasion, I had to wait 10 minutes outside for an employee to check me in. There was also no one at the desk for check out. The room had a smell, like someone smoked in it. It looked like something out of the 70s.
This isn't necessarily the hotel's fault, but there was a guy hanging out outside the rooms. I ordered food delivered and the guy stole my order. I saw him do it. He didn't seem like the type of person I wanted to try to get it back from. I can get a refund on the food, but I can't get the time I waited for the delivery back. It speaks to a feeling of being unsafe.
And since the management seems to reply to all reviews, "definitely" means "without doubt." "Defiantly" means "with open resistance."

Excellent stay. Nice and quiet and the staff was very respectful/helpful.

We arrived and the gentleman at the check in desk was ready to check us in even though it was around 11:30pm. He was able to give us the room we had when we were here a few months ago and found that the room to be very easy access for my 88 year old mom who has some ambulation issues. The gentleman joked with us that I didn’t even have to move the car as we were already parked near the room. Given that we hit some very heavy traffic earlier causing us to arrive later than expected we were happy to be met with such consideration and humor!!!!

Key would not work to save my life.
Parked big truck on street, checked in, carried all belonging all the way to room for the key not to work.
TWICE in 99 degrees at 10pm.
Had to walk back & forth between lobby and room multiple times.
Then I get in room Absolutely Nothing was wiped off in room.
Smelled so bad had to spray.
Shower head leaked all over wall where you can tell it’s been leaking and wall latched up instead of repairing shower head.
Couch was non touchable .
Trash piled up outside doors .
Don’t even want to stay in Blythe again.

We needed to stay during a road trip. It was fine for that.

We stopped only for a five hour nap, shower and to continue our drive however the pool area looked very inviting!
The room had a mini fridge and microwave; “good smelling soap” and the water pressure was great. The bed was very comfortable too.
Christian at the front desk was very good in his job. He was awake and ready to help when we arrived at midnight. I’ve had experiences before where the front desk staff was sleeping in the back and had to ring the bell multiple times to rouse to someone, not so with Christian :-)
Thank you to Christian’s parents for raising such a fine young man, and thank you to America’s Best Value Inn for hiring such a wonderful young man.

I made a reservation that the owner did not accept yet I was still charged through Expedia. The owner gave me a higher rate and did not honor the reservation that I had paid for through your company. It would be great to get my money back.

The area is not the best but nothing happened. Bed was very comfortable. Good price for a place to sleep and get back on the road

For the money, this was a good experience (I nevertheless say average, because it couldn't be more so). I travel no-frills many times a month, so I need value over amenities. There are none here except laundry - even the ice machine was kaput. But the bed and room are big and the price, the TV, fridge and microwave worked, so at $50 (which I reserved day-before) a deal.

For a budget hotel in a tiny desert town it was great. OK, it's older and needs upgrades, but the room was decent, it had a beautiful pool and hot tub, and the manager xouldnt have been nicer or more accommodating. All for $50??? Come on!

Kind employee good room the only problem or complaint I have is that the bed was uncomfortable

There was no phone in the room, and we were never given a wi fi code. The room was clean. Excessive noise from people at the far corner of the hotel, who were partying with door open and shooting some kind of pellet gun all night kept me up for a while. Seemed the place had been recently renovated and the shower had great pressure.

Parking lot had one car in it and it was dusk. Men yelling across the parking lot in Spanish. I didn’t feel safe. I moved out after checking in.

Clean rooms and comfy beds. I really like our stay. It is an older hotel, but very clean. The only minor problem I had was the shower water didn't get too hot. It got luke warm, and I was able to wash, but would've been a Lil nicer with a few more degrees. My dad couldn't figure out how to get his TV to work (separate rooms). Other than that, great stay. Wasn't even worth talking to receptionist about. Would and probably will stay here again. Thanks!

Although the area was very undesirable, I was quite surprised with the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The property south needs some updating, but everything work, and my stay was quiet and enjoyable.

Was going to give this place a 4 based on price and what you get. Good sized room with minu fridge and microwave and pool. Then we found it did not have a smoke detector and the tub fixtures decades old and VERY dirty. Yuch!

The staff was nice and we got to our room okay. Lights next to bed did not work. The place smelled musty and the handle fell off the shower.

My room smelled of raw sewage when I entered. I opened the bathroom door and nearly threw up due to how bad the smell was. The owner kept saying that nobody else has complained but never took any action. I waited for something to be done and when nothing was done to rectify the problem I returned the key and told them I was leaving. He said he would refund through Expedia but I have not received a refund yet.

Do not stay here! Room was filthy. No maintance on the rooms. Drywall coming off in chunks. Carpet disgusting. Cleaning staff (if they have one) do not believe in vacuuming under furniture apparently. Toilet/baseboards/shower fixtures disgusting and need to be replaced. Shower knob comes off in your hand. No screens on windows and room was SO HOT! A/C unit on back of unit blocked by a half wall so no air reaches bed. Front desk did not have a table fan. Couldn't open window for a breeze because there were no screens. Many ammenties listed on website are non-existent. No restaurant/bar. No coffee/tea in room or on premises. We just needed a hot shower and a good night's sleep, not a palace, but this place was horrid! Blythe itself is a closed up, desperately poverty stricken, small town, which is very sad. My advice is to bypass this hot mess of a place.

The check-in person was very nice and friendly. That being said the rest is not good. First room the AC didn't work, so was given a second room. The AC worked or so I thought, but no, it kept just stopping. The TV was set to something that was not right and to call him to fix it. And there were no plugs that worked except one behind the fridge. And no lightbulbs in the lights, which I thought was why they were not working but I found one bulb in an another light and tried it and nothing. When one pays the amount of money I paid I expect to have working plugs, lights and AC and TV. Finally ended up getting a third room and it was on the second floor. After 5 foot surgeries I did not appreciate having to walk up and down the stairs the many times with my stuff. The room was ok The AC worked, and the TV worked or so I thought. It kept stopping while I was watching it. I finally gave up watching. Glad I was not watching a murder mystery as I would not have been able to see it being solved. It did have a fridge which was great but unfortunatly no freezer part which I needed. But the man at the desk let me use as much ice as I needed to help keep my cold packs fairly frozen. As I was leaving two of the housekeeping people offered to help me take my stuff downstairs which was very nice. Not sure about staying here again. All the rooms were clean.
