Going off the pictures online made the place look a lot nicer than it actually was the carpet was filthy. The room smelled of cigarette smoke to the point where I had to burn incense we had to go out and buy it. We were next to people who had a child that screamed, all night kids being allowed to run across the top stairs and balcony was crazy very deceiving. I would not stay here again, but I did like the lady that lives upstairs in the corner. The manager came into the room for a second and was very abrupt and rude and look like she needed to take a nap , but the state left a lot to be desired. Good day.

When I arrived, the manager was very nice. She welcomed me. That’s the extent of the good portion of the stay. The room was dirty. There was stains on the sheets. The bed was hard as a rock. The shower was so small that my arm was touching the wall and my other arm was touching the shower curtain. Some of the electrical outlets did not work so I had a hard time being able to use them for everything I needed. I would not recommend this place for anybody to stay at.

Do you ever go and check these properties before putting them on your booking page? The property is run down and has people living there full time.
It's not ADA compliance.
3.4
Very outdated, curtain too small for window, no hot water for showers.
3.4
The floor is creeky, bed a bit bouncy, the shower is very small and the toilet is extremely close to the wall. The TV is tiny. it's an older hotel that can use updates for sure. never needed any staff help. you get into the room with a lock box an text. There were items by the stairs that looked to be junk, but not sure what it was. The balcony seemed a bit slanted. It was clean.
3.4
Location and price were great but there were other visitors and guests on the property who made the facility as a whole feel unsafe. The pool is not in working condition so if that matters, this place doesn’t have a pool. It’s walkable to the touristy shops and across the street from the bath path. The property itself was decent but definitely at best motel quality.
3.4
Mold in the shower. Ventilation fan not working. Transients living there. Very small room.
3.4
Rat poop in the room . Lipstick on plastic coffee cups when we arrived
3.4
Staff was extremely helpful and very nice. The property itself was old and run down. The floor was creaky. I felt bad for the people below us. we only needed the room to sleep and the bed was comfortable.
3.4

This hotel was exactly what me and my ladies needed with the cabin vibe for an affordable price during this crazy summer season. The staff made it the best stay with their high energy, helpful demeanor, and very friendly attitudes. They were awesome to say the least! Amy at the front desk was outstanding & amazingly friendly, Julian in maintenance was so sweet and helpful, and everyone there was so cool to talk to. We had a small electrical issue and they did all they could to fix it and make us comfortable. This may not be a 5 star hotel but they treat everyone live a 5 star guest! They are literally a 5 minute walk from Heavenly, the shops, food, movie theater, and even the ski lift! I loved and appreciated our stay here. Thank you for all the hospitality!

This is a good, inexpensive option. It's only a short walk to Harveys and everything else in State line.

We arrived at the facility after hours, so we did have a chance to talk to the staff until the morning. We rented two rooms. Both rooms had distinct odors, one smell of pot smoking and the other smell of wet dog, nasty musty smell. There was no toiletries: No soap, shampoo or plastic cups in the room. There were black stains on the carpet. There was no window screen on one of the units. The gal in the office said that the newly hired a room cleaner is still getting used to the job. They offer no compensation. There were several derelict vehicles that did not move the entire time were there. One even had items for sale in the back of a truck. The derelict graffiti covered pool deck was full of trash and old construction materials. People were loud in the late hours of the night. Overall, a terrible experience and I can't believe this place is listed on Expedia. No staff at night. The place is run down. They keep a dog in the office so every time we try to go and talk, they have to put the dog away, not very professional demeanor. There are transient shady looking cliental who rent long term rooms. There was severe damage a couple years ago supposedly from heavy snow loads and it look like they have not made progress on repairs and temporary scaffolding is holding up the building. Also, in front of our room all of the night security lights were missing. Do not stay here unless this is all you can afford. We did get a good night’s sleep after we bought air fresheners.

Wonderful experience. The staff was amazingly friendly. Check in was a breeze and the hotel is clean. Love how close it is to everything near the casinos and Heavenly village. We will be back.

The front desk person Amy was a great help. This was the first time we came to Lake Tahoe during the snow season. She helped my wife when she arrived in the hotel. Thank you Amy for your assistance

Our room smelled like dog. As soon as we walked through the door the smell hit us. The bedding smelled like dog, the curtains. The room was clean, check-in was easy, and the decor was nice. Overall fine, but the smell was unpleasant.
3.4
The lady in the front office was very kind, I liked the room, you get for what you pay.
3.4
Staff was excellent in accommodating our needs. Property was close to where we were shopping and eating. Overall stay was nice!
3.4
Barely a hotel. The place was falling apart and had temporary wood beams holding up the upstairs. There was a derelict travel trailer parked in the parking lot and several vehicles that did not move the entire time were were there. The pool deck was full of trash and old construction materials. Dogs were barking and people were arguing at all hours of the night. Overall a terrible experience and I can't believe this place is listed on hotels.com

The property wasn’t so bad but the smell inside the room. It was horrible window on the bathroom won’t even shut close TV wasn’t working carpet smell like wet dog.
3.4
Amy was very friendly and helpful. Although there was a wrong booking code between the property and expedia, Amy was helpful in fixing it

Enjoyed the friendly check-in service from Amy. She was also very accommodating with our unexpected late check-out. 👍

All worked really well!

This proper need a lot of updates. Rooms were outdated . No room service. No staff at night. Bathrooms have stains everywhere. Noisy. We booked four days and left one day earlier.
3.4
Amazing, walking distance to the casinos. We loved it and will be back soon!
3.4
It was a decent place. It was being worked on so lots of debris around. I loved the easy check in after hours. Price was a little high for the worth but I would definitely stay again to save money.
3.4
Really nice stay. Owner is super friendly
3.4
Staff were super friendly. Check in was super easy. Room was decent for the price point. South Lake Tahoe is easily walkable. Public beach is an 8-10 min walk.
3.4
I did not stay!! I drove up the road and found another hotel. This place was falling apart. Gross, dirty and was not at all what the ad represented. It had 2 x 4s all around bracing up the structure. It looks as if it should be condemned.
3.4
I like an old-style hotel, and this one is good. It's not fancy (though I was pleasantly surprised by the hot tub in the room!), but it is clean and comfortable. It's easy walking distance to the casinos if that's your thing. My only complaint is that I found the front desk receptionist to be a bit on the condescending side, but nothing that would keep me from going back.
3.4
That had a cool system for late check-ins and very easy checkout. Perfect spot along the way for a road-trip.

Everything is good
