Mantra Heritage is perfectly located at touching or walking distance to all the action, being right on Macrossan Street. The staff (especially Eddie and Paula) were really helpful with inquiries and booking for other attractions. We'd definitely return. 😎

Comfortable suite. Balcony overlooking the pool. Overall a relaxing stay.

Loved how central the property was to everything especially dining and shopping. Everything was within easy walking distance so we didn't need a car.
The room was very well appointed. We loved having the spa as well.

Great location in the heart of Port Douglas’s shops. Restaurants and bars.
However the facilities are sadly dated and a full renovation is needed, the pools were tragic.
You get what you pay for!

Some rooms are very tired. Our power went out and we had to move rooms. Luckily it was an upgrade to a much better room. The Manager was great to deal with.

A lovely property, very happy with our time at Mantra. Close to everything, clean, and amenities/ pool were wonderful.

・Tea stains on the dishes were noticeable. It would be best to bleach them.
・After dinner, when I went to bed, it was a little chilly so I asked for a blanket, but I was told that the service had ended and they couldn't give one to us.
・The room smelled moldy
・There were food crumbs on the dining chairs that looked like they had been there for a while.

The bathroom was mouldy, the room smelt like mould. The lights flickered (bathroom and bedsides) no one at reception, hard to find the room!! The people we travelled with had better rooms 😭

lovely pool for an evening dip, a bit noisy with kids during the day. Loved our private deck and access

Excellent location for bars/restaurants. Useless lift does not give access to all floors, rooms at back of property are very noisy. Lorikeets will wake you all night and then freezer truck sits outside rear for an hour from about 5:45am, oh! and the only day we could lay in they had maintenance going on in room next door . Great if you dont like to sleep.

Nice and close to everything

Definitely not worth the premium price. We paid for a private swim up suite and found a small, dirty, unappealing pool which was completely overlooked from the back of a small shopping centre. The suites are in a seperate part from the hotel, attached to the shopping centre. Access was from a dank basement shared with store cupboards and shopping centre toilets.
Other issues included mould (all over the bathroom) an useable kitchen with sticky surfaces and to get into the shower, you need to step over a knee high wall in the bathroom. Certainly not suitable if you're not agile. I'm tall and fairly flexible and have bruises and cuts on my knees from it.
The entire hotel is also a maze of stairs, so wouldn't recommend if you have lots of luggage!

Loved the close proximity to Macrossan Street with all the restaurant options and Four-mile beach.
we couldn’t believe how many stairs they were around the property, so if you’re carrying luggage, it’s unavoidable. But disappointingly we had an incident with a male staff member on Thursday night where we asked for a Wi-Fi password and we were told that if we are not a member then we do not get complimentary Wifi . The reason we contacted reception was that in our room was a note informing us that Wi-Fi is complimentary and the password is located in our room. Key wallet .
we then brought this to the attention of the staff member and No apology was given by that staff member for the rudeness which weI found very unprofessional..
We are quite happy to be contacted in regards to this matter.
But to sum up the property and our experience, besides the incident we would be happy to stay here again as the location is perfect for somewhere to sleep the night after a long day out, exploring the beauty of what this region offers.

Great location, lovely room although a bit dated. Awesome pool area.

Great location and walking distance to everything in Port Douglas. Friendly staff, and cool AC.
The pools are terrific and great for kids with shallower parts on the wide steps. There was also a reptile show that was really great!
In the future however I would definitely book a swim out room for convenience, the hotel rooms are a little smaller and we had to walk up many stairs which got a little tiresome.
Overall terrific property, especially for the price.

Fantastic place to stay. Walking distance to restaurants and shops.

My stay was good but I guess a bit disapointing for the fact that the room was not so spacious, and that the swimming pool was not a swimming pool but just a basin to refresh your self, deep of 1.1m only.
I also did not excpet that my bed and towels have not been changed in five days, but this is what the receptionnist said to me about this hotel. Concerning the location, it is very good but the city is so small that it could not be different than good.

Great place to stay but very annoying when the hotel states if you want daily cleaning you can ask and you will be charged
Not good enough

We were in hotel room, staff were helpful, wifi was shocking we had to use our on data as wifi dropped out within minutes if you actually go any wifi. Linen, beach towels only supplied once during our 10 day stay, if you wanted extra you had to pay $20.00 per change, Room only cleaned once during our stay, we had to take down our rubbish out to bins in carpark. No restaurant facilities had to go out each night to local restaurants, Coles very close but as we were in hotel part no facilities to be able to cook although plates, cutlery, glasses supplied. Area was kept clean and staff friendly, showing its age, our sink required plug replacing and while they said they would be back they never did, but this could be because of parts not available. We stayed in Room 1316, hotel on main street and lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

The pool area, reception and location were great!
However the room not so much!
The bed was meant to be queen but definitely wasn’t, the curtain was covered in mould to the point everytime you walked in the room it’s all you could smell.
People in the next room on there balcony could see you in the bathroom and the toilet unless you closed the big blind which was the one covered in mould. Which then meant no sunlight in the room and the lighting with the blind closed was very poor.

I'm still waiting for a tax invoice.
This was a business trip and I require the tax invoice to claim back expenses.

This hotel is located right in the main street. Once you arrive, you don't need a car as you can walk everywhere. Even though you are right in the middle of town, once you go into the hotel, it is very peaceful and quiet. The room was very spacious with full kitchen and two balconies. All the shops and supermarket are literally on your doorstep.
Great place to stay.
