Amazing service.

This hotel is showing its age, but will soon shut down for a refurbishment. Despite parts already closed, such as the famous New York bar, the hotel won us over with the staff's excellent attention to detail and helpfulness. Nothing beats the views, food, and class of this place, even as the furniture is definitely starting to look 20 years old.

We loved our stay here! The staff were fantastic and very attentive. The check in experience was great and Yuko Usami was particularly helpful and welcoming. The views from our room was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again!

One of my favorite hotels in my favorite city. It's a luxury hotel with unbeatable views of Tokyo, quiet and comfortable rooms, and the best rooftop bar in the world.

Sad to find no indoor area for smokers, unless booking a smoking room which wouldn’t have made my partner happy, however she adores the baths. Staff super friendly. Not received an email confirmation of charges prior to being charged at checkout. Pool area fabulous.

Amazing 3 night experience for us - family with two girls at end of Japan trip. Great staff service, excellent breakfast and views like few other hotels in the location.
Room for 4 was great in space and amenities albeit sleeping arrangements a bit snug so two adults in a small double and our daughters in a small double and single - I.e. two small doubles and a single to share.
New York grill was superb but for a little under £600 the New York strip steak was way under quality expectations, we had three and they were all poor so nothing rogue. Kobe steak was amazing, as was the restaurant and the band.
All in all amazing, will go back when refurbished (staff say they are hoping for a start next year - 2024). I guess you want close to perfection at such an iconic hotel.

Excellent customer service, great location, wonderful views, excellent food, hands down it was an amazing experience from the beginning of our stay until check out, would definitely stay again, exceeded all expectations. Have stayed at high end hotels when traveling and this one did not disappoint in ANYWAY. Traveled with my 2 teenage daughters and toddler.

Very rare I leave a rating but the excellence of this hotel compelled me to do so. From the moment you walk up to the entrance to the moment you leave, they make you feel special and it’s constant. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in

The property and service is exceptional! The view is outrageous! We saw Mt Fuji from our room, and the night view of the city skyline is worth a million $. Well worth it! Best way to wrap up our trip!

Lovely place to stay. Great to be high up - the views are amazing! The area is very safe but most of the bars etc. are a bit of a walk away. Not a problem in itself but worth noting for planning.
Only downside we found was the service was a little impersonal. We had a meal in the main bar/restaurant up top and it just felt a bit clinical. It was busy and lively but it felt transactional and impersonal. Lovely food so perhaps being a little unfair.
Would recommend the whole hotel.

It's a good hotel, the rooms are quite old and in dire need of renovation. The air conditioning in my room did not work, housekeeping was able to provide me with a room fan to help cool the room but at this price point that should not be a solution. The staff at the hotel did their best to make my stay a good one, but the hard product is an issue.

The hotel was fantastic. The room was big and the service was perfect. The hotel staff made sure that we were well taken care of. Only downside of this hotel was the location. As a tourist, it was little off the main shopping and tourist spots. The train/subway station was not as close as we would like but the hotel runs shuttles every 30 minutes to Shinjuku station.

I mean, what do you say about such an amazing hotel! From the moment of check-in (which was done in our room) we were very well looked after. The most amazing thing about this hotel is the tranquility in the midst of such a busy urban centre. And the bar(s) are perfect for a nightcap. Basically checked every box for a perfect introduction to Tokyo!

The hotel was very quiet due to corona not many guests in house.
The check in staff tried to sell me an extra 10 sq meters room for extra?
Why not just upgrade as it would be a plus for me wanting to come back again..
