Top rated hotel in Dubrovnik. About 200 (100?) yards west of the Pile Gate. Great location - convenient and quiet. 5* Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Got executive room with view - great view, top floor. Look out over ocean and castle. Room is fine, but very dark and not glitzy. (Not like some 5*.) Absolutely the right place to stay in Dubrovnik. Used hotel (contracted) car to go to/from airport. Recommended.

Very conveniently located to the Old City. Spacious and comfortable room. But the pool was indoor and not attractive, and its entry is located through a dressing room, which is strange. No valet person standing outdoor at all. The service was minimal for a large reputable 5 star hotel.

The Hilton Imperial is an amazing hotel to stay at! Very close to pile gate to enter old town! It was so clean and the staff was very nice! Breakfast and the waiters at breakfast were wonderful ! Service and food were delicious! We loved how close we are to the city walls! Will definitely stay again!

Great location….room was not so good…perhaps because we booked through Expedia. In a building separate from the main hotel. Only two towels provided each day for a reservation with 3 people. Also the shower had no way to prevent the water from spilling over the bathroom floor. Lastly they did not provide a rollaway bed as requested. So perhaps do not stay here if you need a second bed or be prepared to rent two rooms.

Beautiful hotel with a perfect location a few steps from the old town. Immaculately clean, large, comfortable modern rooms with every amenity. Lovely terrace, lounge and bar. Excellent breakfast with a variety of options and very good restaurant. Professional, helpful, friendly staff. We had a fantastic stay and can’t recommend it too highly.

We stayed 3 nights at start of Croatia trip to visit the old town. Hotel perfectly situated with lovely views (room dependant). Very grand and heritage vibes. Staff very professional and exceptionally clean everywhere (like everything in Croatia). Breakfast was fantastic and lovely to sit on the terrace and al fresco dine in the sunshine. Service at breakfast was great. Upstairs bar was lacking in atmosphere and service pretty poor. Had to chase down someone to make 2 very average and overpriced cocktails. Slight let down. Dissapointed that the hotel pool was closed for refurbishment during our stay, however the silver lining was the complimentary driver to transfer us to and from nearby rixos hotel, where we were able to the use spectacular spa facilities for free. Although not as convenient, was well worth it and we used it twice. In room amenities a little dissapointing for the Hilton. No decent coffee machine or fresh milk, substandard coffee sachets and no free biscuits. Room itself very nice, clean and spacious. Overall would recommended this hotel, at the out of season price we paid, for location, service and breakfast.
