Although we booked at Hotel Plaza del Toros we were put at the Hotel Don Javier (same owners). Hotel is perfect! Centrally located next to the bullring and tourist office, with tons of restaurants and shops nearby. The room is perfect with two verandas overlooking the street. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it for another night. Underground parking is an additional 15€ per night.

A quiet and clean property with lots of charm. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely friendly!

This hotel is very conveniently located for the centre of Ronda and main sights. Our room was clean and had a nice view of the mountains from the bedroom window. The receptionist was helpful and friendly, and helped us locate the car park, which is a little tricky to find on arrival. Overall, perfect for a short stay :-)

Excellent location. Hotel a bit dated. Unfortunately there was a smell in the bathroom that permeated the entire room and made our stay lss pleasant

It is a small hotel in the very heart of the town. Probably during spring or autumn it is a fine hotel, but be prepared for a chill visit during a winter trip. The only source of heating is air conditioner, which is working relatively loud.

Beautiful little hotel in the heart of everything to see. Very clean !

Super location in the heart of Ronda. Friendly staff always nearby and ready to ask questions. Our room window opened onto a reception room which was strange in itself would have made it a nightmare if it was used during our stay.

When booked it showed free parking but when checked in had to pay 15Euro for overnight parking, was disappointed

Actually my stay was at hotel Don Javier which was right opposite to the Plaza de Toros. They obviously are together and did not want to keep two receptions going at this low season. Judging from the room photos the both hotels are of similar design.
I liked the slightly old fashioned style of the room.. The staff were helpful and polite. The on-site garage is a bonus in the crowded city. The access is on the Plaza de Toros side so repeated access required the help of the staff.
The location is excellent: all the main attractions are within 3-5 minute walk and the shopping street Carrera Espinel starts just round the corner.

Economical lodging in the very centre of Ronda. Very near to sights, restaurants and bar.

Hotel Plaza de Toros is ideally located in a very convenient spot - next to the bull ring, and near the new bridge. Easy walking distance to anywhere in town! The cafe is very nice and reasonably priced, too. We were happy to take advantage of the underground garage, at 15 Euros per night, as it is very difficult to find parking in town. We really enjoyed our time at this hotel!

It is an old hotel. Not very well furnished, rather rough but it was clean. Beds are terrible, walls are super thin. Rooms could use an upgrade but the hotel is right in the center of town. Parking in lot down the street. If they tell you they are FULL tell them you are at the hotel so they can make room. Would probably not stay here again. Staff was pretty MEH and neither friendly nor rude just there.

Excellent location, on a quiet walking, no vehicles, street between the bullring and the Puente Neuvo. An elevator, Non smoking. Very clean. Responsive staff. Great restaurant, Don Javier, across the street. Phenomenal paella. Huge salads.

Charming local hotel as close as you can get the the bridge.
Landlady was very helpful at check in and and with parking the car (slightly tricky to find - around the back by the bullring)
Early entry to a compact clean room.
Good hearty breakfast at the sister hotel across the way.
Great value for money.

We stayed here on Palm Sunday. Lots of activity. Procession in the afternoon and in the evening. The hotel is not fancy but the location is great. Staff very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ronda

The hotel is in a fantastic location, by the bull ring and no more than 100 yards from the new bridge. Parking onsite underneath the hotel is a real bonus. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room although a little bit dated was in keeping with the area and very clean. The shower was great but the bed was not the most comfortable I have slept in but OK. Breakfast was very limited but was included.

What a wonderful place to stay a very traditional Spanish hotel, nothing fancy about it, the rooms are not huge but it had a fantastic ambience. It’s in a great area next to the bull ring and on a street with great restaurants. The mountain views are fantastic. If you want to stay somewhere with character then this is a great place

Location was superb. Our room had a great shower . It was clean and the staff were very helpful. We were able to park in their underground car park. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for good traditional Spanish hotel.

Room extremely small and cramped. Shower tiny. Bed comfortable. Telephone did not work and when reported was told that it couldn't be mended! No eggs for breakfast on two of the three mornings we stayed. Staff fairly friendly but overall a disappointing stay.

This hotel has the same owner as the hotel across the walkway. The staffs spent all their time at the other hotel and unless you ring the bell, there is no one to greet you at this hotel. Once you ring the bell, they ran over and they were very pleasant and courteous. The cleaning staffs seems to be efficient although I have not talked to any one of them.
The room is typical of most rooms in Europe with this star rating. Extremely small room, just the basic with working toilet, bathroom, TV and AC. The walk in window leading to a balcony doesn't close but apparently it is a safe area since nothing of personal nature has been taken. Aside from the issue with the window, I booked this room to sleep and refresh and planned on being out touring so the basic was OK.
The location is perfect however. It is literally there at the Plaza de Toro, the Plaza de Espana and the New Bridge. Restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir shops, "Jambon shops", are all nearby. I only drink bottle water while in Ronda so it is convenient to have a grocery store within 10 minutes walk. If you have to have fast food, there is a McDonald right there at the Plaza de Espana. The location made my visit to Ronda very enjoyable.
If you plan to send postcards back home, there is a post office nearby too. The store inside the Toro ring has unusual merchandise worth buying as souvenirs (although they are a bit more expensive than other souvenir stores around town, however you get higher quality products).

Hotel was in a great situation, just 2 minutes from the Bullring and 2 from the Puenta Neuvo bridge over the gorge. Amazing views of the mountains from our room. Don Javier restaurant right outside does a fabulous menu de dia for 11 euro's for 3 courses and huge portions of tasty food. Only drawback is extremely tight exit from underground carpark where we scratched the car door - be careful!

Beside the weak internet access on our floor it was great!

I chose this hotel for it's location. It is a 3 star hotel with no fancy amenities, but then I also paid 40 Euros a night. Within walking distance to all the sights and it also had private parking, not included in the price, but was very reasonable.
