The check-in staff was great. They were ready for me, and very helpful.
The room had a nice appearance, with modern furniture, and a remodeled bathroom in this otherwise older motel.
The age of the hotel shows though in leaks, noise, some failing HVAC, and partially functional fixtures.
Also, the beach is not great, filled with rocks, and not friendly for families or swimmers, or even just goofing around. I don’t think snorkeling is readily possibly for lost in this space next to a marina. Not sure where the reef actually is. The rims off shower was not functional. The pool is pretty deep and pretty aged.
The most challenging part of the stay beyond the HVAC which could only keep the room at either 65° or 80°, was the noise. The noise was incredible. There is some sort of a nightclub that operates at night with an MC and various acts. This blarring noise permeates each room because the rooms are not well insulated. There are screened windows on the room door that literally cannot be sealed. So every noise on the property comes right into your room. In addition, there are roosters on the property. They get quite active around 4 AM.
I would not return to this property.

The property is nice and clean. Some fixtures in the room need to be updated such as the nightstand lamps which were very rusty, could be from the sea blast, but it's a part of the room. There were no lounge chairs on the patio, therefore I could not use the patio. The closet doors were broken and hard to maneuver, and the safe was inoperable. The bed was excellent and I slept well.

The staff was excellent and friendly. Room was very clean.

It was ok , nothing fancy or unique.

We had a great time. We went with our kids and they enjoyed the pool. Near the property, we visited the beach "Mermaid" which is in a gated area but you can get it saying you are going to go to the beach as beaches are public in the island even if they are in a gated area.

I like that it on the beach but you can’t swim cause it too rocky.

Beautiful views and wonderful staff.

Not meeting my expectations

Large rooms with direct ocean views and beautiful sounds of waves crashing at night. Deep End bar has limited but tasty food options. Mahi Mahi sandwich was on point! Staff is very friendly.
Property does show its age and rooms lack sound proofing but overall a great value for an oceanfront island experience!

This place is a hidden gem! I came solo to celebrate my birthday and it was an absolute pleasure. The bar has a new owner, so the food is great. The balcony view is amazing. You can leave your screen door open at night to hear the ocean waves(it’s safe). Chance is the best bartender lol. The beach is rocky but get some beach shoes(you’ll be ok). Breakfast is included(real cooked breakfast food). The resort has snorkeling gear& kayaking for the guest.Friday nights are Caribbean night at the resort.Go& see for yourself! I’ll definitely be backkkkkk!

The property was clean and the air conditional worked great.
Only downside… beach is rocky, seaweed filled and not swimable.

The resort for the most part was wonderful. The rooms were clean and had a wonderful view of the ocean. You could hear the waves crashing on the rocks.
The restaurant on the property had a very limited menu with just ok food.

The pool was beautiful

It was a decent stay. The room was clean and nice. Two of three light bulbs in the bathroom were out. It would’ve been enjoyable to have good music playing in the restaurant and throughout the property.

The location was great for us. Room was big. The patio was fantastic, on the water with the wonderful sound of the ocean. We would definitely stay here again.
Two problems, though. The safe was not set so was inoperable. There was no one there to fix it the first two days. The remainder of the trip, maintenance was too busy to reset the safe. So we had to take everything of value with us. Extremely irritating.
Second, the free breakfast was ridiculous. They were not very crowded but service took more than an hour. For yogurt and fruit. Saw many tables walk away the first two mornings. We walked the third. The restaurant is separate from the hotel so I guess they don't care. I'm sure they still get reimbursed for food that was never served. Hotel would be better to reduce the room rate and cut ties with the restaurant.
Overall, the place was great and we would stay there again.

Shelley was absolutely fantastic. She ran and operated the hotel just as if she was the owner so much attention to Detail and went over her way and then over backwards to make us feel like family will definitely be coming back again is also five stars as well great people great experience will definitely be coming again thank you Tamrid reef resort.

When I got the package I was thinking that the Resort was close to the airport but I have a big trouble when me and my daughters got to Saint Thomas and we have to take a sea plane to get to this other island and I have to pay more money to get there I was very disappointed.

The hotel room was fine but the grounds were not cleaned daily or maintained. The pool bathroom was flooded while we were there.

We were going to stay one night before moving onto our condo and our flight was cancelled due to weather. Contacted Expedia to get a refund and they called the hotel which denied the refund. I have trip insurance but that’s just dirty business in my opinion when it comes to customer service because this was uncontrollable on my part.

Big rooms, clean, your door opens to the ocean, nice breeze. The deep end bar attached is nice and ]has events on the weekends.

First off , everyone was very nice ! They just have a lot to figure out ! Restaurant has a Vermonter breakfast and Dinner is just bar food ! No real cocktail list either! Garbage around on property but our room was very clean! Just very outdated resort! It was in such a great quiet area but it had no swimmable beach! I did not know this when booked . We felt very safe here but our room was not super private. Loved hearing the waves in our room and the entertainment. Right when we got in our room , the cleaning products they use burned my eyes ! Had to open doors for about fifteen minutes to air it out! Very little pressure in shower and very small bathroom ! We loved Lala though who took good care of us!😉

Chickens waking you up before 7am while on vacation is not a good thing

The resort is beautiful, but the restaurant & pool areas were constantly dirty. The table cloths were deplorable and the chairs and floors are dirty. It appears like no one cleans these areas daily. No toothpaste was provided and there was no where to purchase it on the premises.
2.0
There was no water access, kids got sick from the pool, only one place to eat and it wasn’t all that. We would not stay again.

The only reason i didn't give 5 stars was the fact that i needed to go to another beach because the access to the beach at the resort was not safe to swim in due to rocks. Everything else was fantastic.

The property was unacceptable we checked out after one night just very out dated and not clean

The list of things wrong with this property would be to long to mention, so I'll just say, "it's a NO for me" i do not recommend this property to anyone.

The property is located right near the water with a beautiful view from our room. The property is in need of a lot of maintenance and upkeep. The restaurant and bar was nice to have on property, but it was not well run.

The Tamarind was on a beach by itself away from other hotels. I loved the privacy and beach access. The pool was nice. The staff was great. The bar/restaurant located on the property was nice too. Good food and entertainment.
6.0
Beautiful views and clean room. Room service was efficient and tidy. Restaurant on premises was convenient and offered breakfast included with room rate (actually $20pp food credit, with most menu items approx $20pp). Lunch and dinner was limited menu and slow service—not a big problem if you’re enjoying the ocean views and breezes. On site tennis courts were serviceable and provided a nice recreation. Hotel is very convenient 5min walk to Green Cay Marina.
Room walls are thin so be prepared to hear your neighbors conversations.
8.0
The rooms are located within sixty feet of the ocean with beautiful sites and sounds right outside your back door. There are sitting areas throughout the resort to enjoy with above average dining and drinks available onsite with a friendly staff. The facility is a bit dated but worked perfectly considering the amount of travel we did exploring the island.
4.0
Staff was rude and didn’t understand the property. One worker followed me back to the parking area to move my car (after 9 hours of traveling) on a golf cart. She didn’t offer me a ride but snarked at me that I didn’t have to move quicker for her. She was the one cleaning my room I later learned. Tried to find the laundry facility but no one who worked there had any clue where it was. People that worked there also didn’t know the gym code. It was an awful experience due to staff.
8.0
Quiet, well kept property. Small beach connected to hotel. Some features like hair dryer and coffee maker needed to be updated, but overall a really nice stay. We would definitely come back here.
