A lovely property which is well situated. It had everything we needed. Unfortunately there is a lot of noise transfer from the apartment above. When I tried to contact the owner it took 4 days to get an answer, despite me using the numbers provided. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would definitely stay in the top apartment next time.

Communication before our arrival was excellent. Getting into the property no problem. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Very well equipped with everything that we needed. Great to have a small supermarket next door. The minor issue for us was having only one parking space per apartment although there was a lot of on street parking available. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment was beautiful and of a great standard. Facilities and location were excellent too.

Unfortunately we were in Sterling for 2 nights, but only one day however Alison did everything she could to be accommodating. We arrived later than originally planned but she didn’t bat an eye. She told us about a great casual restaurant (just what we wanted) within walking distance for dinner and also told us about things to do in Sterling the following day. We also had a very early flight in Edinburgh our 2nd morning and would miss breakfast so she packed us food to take along to eat before we boarded our plane. In addition the breakfast we had when we were there was outstanding! We toured Stirling Castle while we were there (which is pretty amazing), had lunch at Darnley’s House (Mary Queen of Scott husband’s childhood home) and took a tour of Stirling Distillery where Charlie told us how they make gin and had us taste it too!! Very enjoyable!!

Very central and we were made very welcome. Can recommend this B and B.

Too many knickknacks —Victoriana clutter. Not enough space to set out our essentials.

Stunning and clean home. It was like walking into a Jane Austin Book! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful and they even let us pick and choose.

The decor and comfort of the room are incredible, a Victorian style that is cozy and beautiful! The B & B has a very personal and familiar atmosphere, with breakfast made to order, you choose an option the previous day and choose an incredible time! Enjoyed it, would highly recommend and I will stay again when returning to Stirling! The staff is very friendly and willing to help and make the stay the best that is possible!

This B&B is full of charm, is clean and has friendly staff. There are so many personal touches and details that make this B&B extra special. It is obvious that the owner takes pride in every element of the site’s design, food and presentation. We would stay again and recommend it to friends.

The Old Tram house was lovely, we got a warm welcome and loads of tips of what was on and where we could go. I loved our room, it was really cosy and everything you needed. We had a great sleep. The breakfast room is really special and we really enjoyed it. We would definitely recommend the Old Tram House! It's only a pity we didn't have longer in Stirling!

Nicely decorated, and good breakfast. Shower was awful (didn't drain, poor water pressure, poor temperature control).

It was fine. And the hostess sent us to a pub in the neighborhood for dinner, which was fun.

Lovely Victorian-style bed and breakfast. Its been recently refreshed and is walking distance to many of Stirlings finest sites. The breakfast was large and fabulous including vegetarian haggis for Scotland beginners. Allison does a great job with this charming B&B.

Hotel was easy to find, free parking, reasonable breakfast, clean and surprisingly quiet given it is located on a busy street. Decor was a bit over the top. Only drawback was the distance from “downtown” but still only a 25 - 30 minute walk.

Room fine, carpet a little stained, hostess wonderful.

The Old Tram House was adequate but not especially outstanding. The decor was a little over the top and a little old fashioned, more attention to cleanliness and detail would have been appreciated, but unfortunately the hostess seemed to be more interested in her personal pursuits than the business. The breakfast was good and cooked to order

We stayed on the top floor, only one room with bath on this level so very private. It was beautifully decorated, bed and pillows very good. Skylight in bathroom gives a great view to distant hills. Nice breakfast. It was a 15+ minute walk to town a few more to the castle or bus stop is across the street. Owner was very nice and helpful we would definitely stay there again. Reasonably priced.

Stayed in July 2014 for two nights in a sunken upstairs bedroom with twin beds. Loved the decorating. Owner Alison was lots of fun and very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious serving a full hot selection of eggs, toast, tomatoes, mushrooms, black pudding, sausages, and bacon. There were many other wondrous things as well such as fresh homemade bread, dried fruits, yogurt, cereals all set out on a large side table. We were a bit surprised to learn that our credit card had not been charged when we booked as the owner prefers to charge the card when you show up.

Beautifully presented B & B with a delightful hostess. Room tastefully furnished with all conveniences. Breakfast excellent with all varieties of options. We were able to park in front which was handy. Alison helped us with our bags to the room.
2.5
5 star experience. Highly recommended. I would stay there again.
