It was a great stay. because we were there at the end off season we did not have many dining options which was a shame. Overall very happy and very central to all that Kakadu has to offer.

The convenience to the Yellow River cruise was ideal. Room was clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet just ok.

Good place to stay if you’re going on the yellow river cruise.

Great location especially as taking 645am yellow river cruise. Friendly staff, great place to come back too after a day out exploring the region. Only downside was the condition of our room which was quickly rectified once raised with staff.

Overall enjoyed our stay. They had aircon going before our arrival which was lovely and the portacot we requested was all set up. Expensive for the standard of room you get but it's worth it to explore the wonderful sites nearby.

The hotel rooms are situated in a beautiful garden setting. Due to remote location, the room and restaurant prices were the most expensive where we have visited in NT. For the price we paid, the room was very basic. Small bathroom sink, leaky shower , no indoor sitting area or sitting space at all. However, the outdoor sitting was pleasant. The room is clean, not big but with comfortable beds, instant coffee and tea bags.

It was not revealed to us at time of booking. No toilet or hand basin in unit. For over $470 for one nights use with a check in time of 3pm with check out at 10am this does not equal a full day. Toilet facilities were a walk through leaf covered grounds during the night with a faulty key pad at the amenities block. Overall a very disappointing booking and stay.

Lots of conveniences and a great starting point for lots of activities in Kakadu.

Comfortable property, long wait for check in. Pool area could be maintained better and more lounge chairs provided. Longer food eatery hours, not everyonr wants burgers or pizza. Glamping tents are comfortable and the shared facilities are very clean and well laid out. Do require your own crockery and cutlery if using the cooking facilities. Nice family environment.

We found the food to be not very good and very expensive. We understand why expensive but hoped for something that was tasty.

On arrival floor dirty with fine red dust, broken blind, fridge door shelves missing, outdoor light not working and no wifi in the cabin. Obliging staff when problems reported, but for $500 a night, it should be perfect when one arrives. The restaurant is the only place open until 4:30pm(?) when the bistro/bar opens and provides limited offerings and is expensive.
Can't eat in the cabin because there are no facilities, not even a microwave and there is no table or chairs inside necessitating the bringing of the outdoor table and chairs inside, when one wanted to sit anywhere other than the bed.
The daily room service did not include sweeping, vacuuming or mopping the floor (and no broom is provided).
Wifi is available around the restaurant and bar, and I noticed that wifi in the cabin is available in the most expensive rooms, so it can be provided to the next level of rooms if management wishes to do so.
Both pools were great and the cabins otherwise comfortable. Staff were friendly and responsive.
Too many problems and limitations to justify $500 per night.

Although the lodge room was very basic, it had everything we needed for our one night stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was excellent. The service friendly and very helpful. The meals- absolutely splendid- and we are vegan and hyper critical! The park itself is extraordinary and warrants without a doubt its World Heritage listing. It was a pleasure for me to visit again and share the joy of my companions.

The glamping room was a great experience. Clean, modern and organised, nice pool and next to a petrol station.
Keep in mind that prices in the restaurant are way too expensive though.

The large pool was great & we loved the adult pool, it was nice & cool.
Access to Yellow waters is so convenient at Cooinda & we love Yellow Waters.
The food at Mimi restaurant was delicious too.
Unhappy about room not being serviced for the 3 days we stayed, especially as we needed a bath mat & bath towel & tissues.
We did ask 3 times on the 2nd day. The third time the reception lady gave me 2 pool towels, a box of tissues & a drink voucher each, which was nice but we still didn't get serviced the next day.
When leaving, the staff member asked about our stay & I mentioned about the room. She said they were busy & other things were priorities.

For a quiet time of year, they looked after us. Unfortunately the boat ramp was closed.
The staff made an extra effort to accommodate our preferences even tho the Wotif notes didn’t come through on our booking. So Wotif was the only let down, however it was cheaper then booking direct.

Loved the natural beauty of the property. The room was very clean and comfortable.
There was a missing remote for the TV. We did report this to the front desk.

The perfect time to stay - no one else around 😉

I stayed at the glamping tent. It’s actually pretty nice, and the shared bathroom facilities were well above the standards i,ve experienced. It’s just that the property is in a monopoly situation so is very expensive for what you get.
There is only one dining option in Cooinda and that’s in the lodge’s restaurant or bar - and both are average tasting while very much over-priced.

Great stay! One of our top 2 accommodations of our whole trip. Bit pricy, but it is worth it! Great atmosphere and also the restaurant is amazing. Next time we would like to stay more than 2 nights.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great resort. Really like the glamping tent accommodation. Staff were all really good. Has a really good vibe. The restaurant food is good enough for remote location. Buffet breakfast acceptable for a few days, but would get sick of lack of variety after that. Shared bathroom facilities could be cleaner, but desperately need ventilation as it was beyond hot using it at night due to humidity. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.

Cooinda is in a great location. The glamping tents are very nice, although you have to use a shared bathroom block because the tents don't have running water, and you are among trees with very colorful and loud birds flying around. That's very cool. The restaurants and pools are good although there were a couple of strange glitches. Staff replaced shower get with moisturiser in all the showers one day for no apparent reason and the meal times were a bit limited given the schedules. Breakfast didn't start until 6,30 for instance which wasn't convenient given the scheduling of day tours. But overall this is a great spot and highly recommended.

Great spot to enjoy Kakadu. Loved the Yellow Water Cruise which is a must do at sunset. Restaurant was great. Will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Cooinda Lodge. The proximity to the Yellow Waters cruise and the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre was very convenient for an older couple. The drive to Nourlangie Rock and Anbangbang billabong was a bit far but worth the drive.
Being unused to the heat, the pools were a very welcome respite.

For the most part the staff was courteous and helpful. When we had trouble with our tv, someone came and sorted it out for us quickly and efficiently. The dinner options were limited ,expensive, and not all that delicious.

The glamping tents are just meters from a massive loud generator - I ended up sleeping in my car to get some peace

even with a lot of people there was ample space for dining without having to wait.
