Dirty common areas, too few toilets with no privacy, and thin walls. There’s no security or supervision on premises, so anyone can do whatever as long as they are through the doors. Had a very scary night incident in the corridor when someone banging on the main door was let in. I most definitely don’t recommend staying here — pay a little extra and go to a hotel or ANYWHERE with actual staff around. (Calling the phone number — or the police — is hardly an option when everything can be heard through the walls and there are instable people having a fight in the corridor)

It’s not in the location that it shows in Apple Maps, making finding it difficult when first arriving. Showers smelled like piss like other reviewers commented, when I went out for a run the first morning, I was immediately confronted by a homeless person, trying to open the door and asking to use. And drunk passed out homeless people would sleep on the stairs you walked by. The door stop in the room is also positioned perfectly to stub your toe on. If you’re going to Copenhagen and can afford better, definitely look elsewhere! Don’t cheap out, because it did feel unsafe.
Location is convenient for the train and Tivoli gardens!

Bathroom was an issue. Two bathrooms on facility: one is a small box, one is bigger one that is shared between male and female. Room temperature could not be controlled. Two small seperate blankets. Overall okay stay but could have been better.

Nothing was good even the staff was impolite especially the blond girl
Nothing was good

Terrible stay, the cabin was dirty even the blanket. All the structure was very dirty, the shower very small. The position is great, right in the middle pf the city, near the Tivol Park.

Good location and set up. The bathrooms can be done better.

Great option if you just need a place to sleep. Location is right next to railway station, though a bit hard to find. Didn't get my door code and didn't notice it until i was at the door. Luckily the support was easily reached by phone and problem solved.
Slept in capsule for a first time, which was a great experience. Noice from other guests came through the nibht, especially doors slamming but after midnight it got quiet.

Had a few issues with the PIN code for entry: I first didn’t receive the email with the PIN code on the checkin day, so had to call them to be able to get in. They said this could be due to a communication problem with Hotels.com. On the day of checkout, I left my capsule at around 7:30am to go to the bathroom, and found that my code didn’t work anymore when trying to go back in… had to call them again to sort it out. Fortunately the issue was always sorted out quickly by phone but I think this problem of PIN codes expiring before checkout should be fixed. Another person had the same problem as me an hour later, and had left his phone in his capsule, so he had to ask for someone’s phone to call them.
Apart from that, the capsule was clean, spacious enough for one person, and the experience was very good for the price.

Not a convenient place

Staff did not send us an entrance code. stranded outside for hours. Never got a response from them. A random civilian helped us. Not very clean. Loud surroundings.

Filled all basic needs. Bathroom sink water pressure was weirdly strong, but shower facilities were great. Private room did not have space for more than just a bed but did not have any noticeable flaws. Close to the train station and a nice food market with lots of restaurants.

Great for sleep over with no bigger demands, we left at 4,30am to get to the airport. The code didn’t work in the front door, but we got lucky when somebody else arrived at the same time. Nice bed.

The room was too cold and after communicaating it on the phone, they raised up the temprature in 1 degrees, there was no option to warm up the room more than that and I had to sleep with a jacket

Were not to sleep. Horrible.

The hostel is very well located and it has a cozy feeling. One comments about the WI-FI; we stayed three nights and the wifi didn’t work. We called the first night and they said they were trying to fix it but it didn’t work throughout our whole stay.

Hotel quite alright very less hassle. You can check in without people. The room is large enough however one of the toliet is so small you cannot sit on it.

I rented out one of the pods, and I have to say they are nice, private, spacious, and a great concept. However, the hostel, in general, isn't maintained very well, the bathrooms are pretty dirty and the pods were really dusty. Also, the room the pods were in smelled like a sewer for some reason. I personally slept terribly because the dust in the pods made me really congested which was my main issue with the place. Basically, If you're tolerant to a little grime and can sleep well in enclosed, dusty spaces then by all means come here; it's super convenient, it's literally across the street from the train station.

Bathroom needs to be cleaned more often since only screw for many

I've stayed at many Hostels, but this is the first one I've disliked.
The good. The room was fairly clean, the showers and bathrooms were decent, and the pillows were pretty good (memory foam so you'll either love it or hate it). The train station is within 1 minute's walking distance. Walking to Stroget (the main street) is only a 15-minute walk.
The bad. There isn't anyone on-site. We called twice to get our PINs to enter the premise and rooms. I will say, the person on duty that answered our call was nice and helpful. The general area around the entrance smells horrible.
The ugly. You'll hear everything. This was a big issue because the guy in the room next to ours was on the phone "talking" loudly and laughing hysterically until almost 02:00 AM. We had a flight in the morning.
If it wasn't for the ugly part, I would be giving it 3-4 stars because it was cheap, the location is great and the rooms were decent (looking at the other reviews, we got lucky), but we literally didn't get any sleep.
Again, I've stayed at many Hostels, but this is the first time I leave sleepier than when I arrived.

This an extremely efficient and safe hostel

I am all for the simplicity and quality of equipment, however, there are not enough toilets only, which means the washing and tooth brushing areas are too compromised.. Also, it would be nice not to get woken up at 7am by really noisy bin emptying...

It is very near to the Copenhagen Central Station

Liked the check-in was quick and the staff was friendly. The bed had too little headroom so didn't really fit in it
3.4
Location perfect. Price attractive. Silence and safe.

Location is good. Near the central station.
Some beds are quite small as they have three bunks per bed. The ones with two bunks per bed are better.
Washroom and bathroom facilities are inadequate. Probably have to wait for quite a while when there's a lot of people in the line.
Bathroom is dirty. Often a bit flooded as drainage system is not good.

close to the railway, smart, easy, and effective, low budget, good value

Great location and excellent wifi. Be aware though that the sleeping rooms are a bit crowded and you risk having snooring neighbours and guests arriving late affacting your sleep.

The bed was very small and the shower room was very old...although the staffs were kind. Location was very convenient, next to the central station.

Good service, nice and clean hotel. the staff were really nice and helpful. Private bunk beds with curtains was a really nice touch and made the stay really nice. Best Hostel i have ever lived at.

Lovely staff and communal areas
Not really enough toilet and shower facilities for the amount of guests

I stayed for one night, friendly and tidy place.

Was surprised that the hostel does not accept any credit cards, which means you need to have krones or euros at the ready. The extras like breakfast and towel were also very expensive (as is everything in Copenhagen). Also had an inconsiderate guest in my room who talked on his phone loudly and late at night (not the fault of the hostel though). The showers and washrooms need a major overhaul. Good location in an otherwise forgettable city.

The stay was quite nice, I met very amazing people and there were many games in the common room as well as books to read. The beds are a bit cramped up so there was not much space but the privacy curtain made it quite nice anyway. The staff was super welcoming and helpful and the location awesome. Only bad thing was the facilities, only two bathrooms for all rooms is not much at all and it is only if you are lucky that you can find a locker to use, I had one so I had a wonderful stay.
