It was a very interesting place. Only my second capsule hotel. Very comfortable and lots of amenities for a capsule hotel.

This all men Capsule Hotel was incredible. The amenities they offered are by far the best. Complimentary food, beverages and more. When you go to the public shower they have a variety of shampoos , face soap, body wash, scalp treatments, razors, body towels, etc. You can enjoy the hot spring after taking a shower and the steam room. Outside of the public showers you will find a selection of supplies like hair dryer , hair products, body lotions, hair brushes(you can keep) toothbrushes with a tiny toothpaste, etc.

It was bucket list item for me to stay at a capsule hotel and this place checked all the boxes. After traveling with others after my 2 weeks in Japan, I stayed here in Tokyo solo for two nights before I flew home.
The entire place is super clean. The capsule was spacious enough for me and my floor of 64 capsules has only about 15 or so other guests, but bring earplugs .. a necessity. My capsule came with a big tv and headphones, though I rarely watched it.
The onsen was relaxing and clean and the lounge area was quiet and comfortable, the massage chairs, free alcohol and drinks, curry, miso soup etc was a nice touch.
Other guests (mostly people in their 20s to 40s) were quiet and the hotel played traditional Japanese Music or Classical in the lounge area.
The location was amazingly convenient to everything Shinjuku. Very close to the Train/Subway stations and the bus that goes to the airports.
This hotel is only for male guests, but I believe there is one for females nearby, the hotel offers brown "uniform" pants and a top for all guests to wear, so I liked to think of the place like a big pyjama party.
I know that this hotel chain has other locations in Japan and I wish I had found them sooner.

Great capsule hotel with even better breakfast (curry with rice was awesome)!

First time with capsule hotel experience. Excellent for solo travel. Enjoyed the onsen and massage chair onsite, and free booze after 5pm from wide selection of liqueur. Convenient lication in the heart of Shinjuku. Surprisingly quiet with a men only establishment. Everyone is respectful of others privacy and space. Top cleanliness as no shoes allowed once inside the well kept 7 storey building.

This was probably one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The only thing I didn’t like, was that my pod was right by the door, so I heard people coming in and out every night. If you stay here, I would suggest asking for the back of the room.

Great check in process for English speakers with a A4 handout given with very clear instructions and things you can use and take advantage of during your stay. Felt very safe, all guests were quiet and respectful when I stayed.
Fantastic location, close to food, arcades and shopping, and easily walkable from Shinjuku station. I'd arrived after 10 hours of flying and having never been to Japan before, found the process of locating the accommodation easy with Google Maps.
While I was concerned upon arriving to the Japan summer heat, the cooling in the capsules was adequate to me, I slept comfortably enough with the fan provided. The capsule floors themselves are air controlled also. I would have appreciated another pillow (only 1 provided) but perhaps this could be requested by staff!
Note that none of the taller capsules I observed had televisions or other technology if you wish to have that as it didn't appear super clear by the listings what they would have inside. Also, as noted by some of the other reviews, the bathing/showers are on a different floor, so are the storage lockers, so you'll need to use the elevators a bit to get around, but I never found this to be a hindrance personally.
Would recommend! Thanks for having me and making my trip to Japan a great one!

This was an amazing stay but they need to clean the fans cause there was a lot of dust.

This spot is Tattoo friendly. Using the public bathhouse was a blessing. It's an experience I had to experience in Tokyo. The pods were a bit warm at 4am but the fan inside helped keep me cool through my slumber. The massage chair and free alcohol helped me relax after exploring the city of Tokyo. If you have tattoos, come on down

Very comfortable capsule and very clean everywhere. Only complaint was the amount of noise in the capsule room throughout the night made it hard to sleep. Need a pod far away from the loud click of the door and last in line so you don’t hear people walking past your pod

Slippers or sandals would be nice. This would help with the overall health and cleanliness as individuals walk around barefoot

This was a great stay for me as a traveler. They have a good spa and stocked lounge area.

Located in the downtown. Very easy access to the city center.

The first capsule hotel I've stayed at and still the best! It's at an awesome location a quick walk to Shinjuku Station. Plenty of things all around it as far as restaurants and attractions. The facility is very clean, safe, clean, with awesome and helpful staff. Free snacks, drinks and bathroom amenities while staying too in addition to a bathhouse. Capsules were very comfortable and the sleeping rooms were quiet with very considerate fellow guests each time I stayed. If you're a solo male traveler or with a friend or two, definitely check Anshin out!

It was a great first time experience at a capsule hotel. Very nice hotel and the artificial hot springs was great! definitely recommend

The place was great to hang out! Free alcohol, food and amenities. Loved that! The problem is some capsules only have curtains and no roll up door, that was a let down and also it seemed like some dudes were running up and down and stomping on our floor late at night which was annoying with only a curtain to stop the noise was pretty lame. And the capsule was super warm which sucked.

Great location

Other customers are very loud and messy. Coughing eveywhere, leaving alarms going, leaving slippers in a mess. My pod didn’t get cleaned once. Other than that it was very good. Great food. Onsen, affordable, and good location. Excellent service too

Best affordable stay during my Japan holiday.
Comfy capsules with air-conditioning, fan, tv, power and a looot of complementary stuff to try and use in the facility. Free coffee, soft drinks, rice and booze as well as excellent massage-chairs, sauna and a big onsen. It would be hard to top this experience for that price.

Pretty happy with my stay here. A different experience altogether. Wanted to try capsule hotel in Japan and I am glad I picked it.

I stayed here for a week, and this hotel perfectly served my purposes. The capsule bed was comfortable and easy to sleep in. But the amenities pushed this to five stars- free breakfast meant one less worry for the budget, and the spa is an excellent way to unwind after a long day of traveling.

I love the plethora of amenities this place has.

The capsule was too hot when the curtain was closed. Maybe offer a small fan or adjust the temperature. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Great inexpensive capsule hotel right next to Shinjuku station. Perfect for inexpensive stay in bustling Shinjuku district.

Can’t find a cheaper place in Shinjuku but it has shared bath room so if you are ok with people who are not considerate and do some disgusting things (I was shocked as soon as I stepped inside, like what this guy was doing, it’s not bathroom in your house man )then you are ok. For me, I hate it and didn’t know it was a shared bathroom so I won’t stay again in future. If you can afford a little bit more then hotel would be a better choice. Staffs are friendly and good at English. Overall, it’s ok for the money you spend but it’s the money you pay for staying in Shinjuku, not really the money for the quality of the place.

Such a wonderful stay! The property was very clean and smells good. I was happy to find that my pod provided a phone charger. The complimentary rice and curry for breakfast was delicious. Staff was very kind and allowed me to keep my luggage with them while I explored more of Shinjuku even after I already checked out. Would recommend this spot for solo travelers!

I was visiting Tokyo for the first time and was planning to stay at this hotel for three days, but my stay was so incredible that I extended it for three more. This place has everything you could need. Breakfast, WiFi, every toiletry imaginable, free alcohol after 5pm and clean and comfortable rooms.
Here are some things that you must know. The showers are not private. Once you get over the initial shock of showering with 20 other naked people, it’s actually really nice. There’s every Toiletry that you can need here. They supply razors, washcloths, shampoos and conditioners, body washes, combs, razors, Qtips, blow dryers, floss, mouthwash, A ton of hairstyling products.
The food supplied is simple but nice to have in the morning before you go out. All sorts of free beverages are provided. They have fountain sodas, coffee, tea, and a free alcohol bar after 5 PM.
There are massage chairs in the lounge as well for free free use.
The location was perfect. Only a two minute walk from Shinjuku station from the south east exit.
I met a lot of travelers here from all over the world who are visiting and we would get together and go out for dinner and to explore the nightlife in the area.
I highly recommend this hotel for men traveling alone to Tokyo. The location is easy to get to from Narita airport and transportation to a lot of other sites in Tokyo are easily accessible from this location. As a train line is only two minutes away.

Amazing location, in the middle of bustling Shinjuku.

Really surprising perks at property, including free booze!. Only negative thing was the capsule curtain let in alot of light so bring a dark bed sheet to cover it. Great place, geat location

I love the concept of this hotel. I had a wonderful experience. My only complaint would be the pillow is VERY firm so western guest may not be use to this.
1.5
I’ve always been curious about capsule hotels so I gave this a try. Everyone here is silent. No one talks. It’s great if you want solitude. Free booze in the evening. Very decent rice, miso, and toppings. This set-up takes a little getting used to, but it’s a great option for a single guy who wants some quiet time and it’s close to all the excitement of Shinjuku.

The perfect spot for a Solo traveler or even a boys group. Very clean with amazing amenities for a ridiculously reasonable price. I'll be staying her for most of my future trips.

My first stay at a capsule hotel. Quite optimized service for many people. The main complaint is that I did not know how to regulate ventilation in my capsule.

First time staying in a capsule hotel. Would absolutely recommend Anshin Oayado Shinjuku. This place is spotless. Employees are non stop cleaning. Bathrooms were spotless. Their complimentary happy hour was very much like. Thank you for the glasses of wine! Bathrooms are also stocked with plenty of necessities if you happen to forget something. I had a capsule on the 6th floor. Very quiet. Only a few noises but nothing disturbing. Would stay again if traveling solo.

For how cheap the stay is, Anshin Oyado truely goes out of their way to provide everything possible you would need during your time there and then some. Very clean facilities, very helpful and respectful staff, and the absolute most ideal location for a stay in Shinjuku. I can't praise them enough.
2.5
I did enjoy staying at Anshin when visiting my friends.
The location was excellent: nearby the JR stations, shopping places and department stores.
During my stay, I encountered heavy rains, but the location was just so convenient that I hardly got wet before I reached the JR station.
I also liked the service crew: they’re nice, patient and polite. English-speaking was totally fine.
One more thing, I did like their high-quality rice served in the canteen! A tiny but remarkable spot for the stay!
Definitely, I will come back next time.

Wonderful Capsule! We get way more than we pay!

It’s a capsule hotel so space is limited but the amenities are AWESOME. No complaints, very good experience.
