the room is a bit smelly we had to open the window to vent for the night

Great value for price! Central location and beautiful building. Room is simple but with all comforts. Highly recommended.

Hotel is central, has a great design and is very comfortable. The rooms are relatively basic but comfortable, clean and functional. Great breakfast with views of the port.

A little too much noise from the streets below at night, which was quite ironic considering how the town itself appeared to be almost deserted when I went to try and find a restaurant at about 7. No fault of the hotel though, which provides you with everything you pay for.

Great location with restaurant, bus terminal & pier beside, bed was comfort & the view was nice!

Right in the centre of town between the ferry and train. Clean, tidy and good staff.

Lovely room and very clean. Great for closeness to the port.

harbor in front and small village with restaurants just in the backside of the hotel

Nice hotel in central Frederikshavn. Restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Nice an spacious room, a bit old fashion in style, but everything works fine. Lobby and bar is really nice and modern. As of june 2018 the hotel is undergoing ouside renovation, didn’t bother me, but the view of the city was a bit limited. Would stay again!

Decent hotel by the Port and located centrally by the town centre. Recommended for those using the ferry port in particular.

Nice to travel through Denmark. Hotel is great location to downtown and the ferry terminal.

Great clean room with seaview - Near the port and 100 meters to the shopping street.

This is a fairly nice hotel with adequate, but not great, space and comfort in the room. It is a few minutes walk to the ferry terminal and just a few minutes more to the train station. Facing west, away from the water but over the town, we enjoyed great sunsets each night. However, we were very disappointed with the service. The people at the front desk were not particularly friendly and were way less than helpful. We were not told that we had to put our card key in a slot to power the outlets and work the lights. We spent some time wondering why the lights did not work and asked a housekeeper who told us what to do. Second, the refrigerator did not work. We had someone from the front desk come up who verified that it wasn't working. She then asked if we would be using any convenience items from the fridge. We said no. She said that there was no reason to fix it until after we left as we were not allowed to put any of our personal items in the refrigerator. What?!? Because of the service, we likely would not come back if we could find another option close to the ferry terminal.

Good choice if you arrive late with a ferry. Good place for quick stop over.

I was only here for one night, but I could have stayed longer. The hotel is right next to the port, so if you get off the ferry, its basically over the road. The room was very comfortable, and I had a view of the port as well, had everything I needed. Also a short distance to the train station and the Main Street and bars and also some shops like Spar. Had a great night sleep, In a comfy bed. Top place.

Excellent Short Stopover as it is literally an 8 minute brisk walk to the Stena Line Ferry Terminal. The Staff are lovely and helpfyul, pleasant and kind. I was upgraded for free to the Hotel Jutlandia main rooms as it was quiet so A BIG THANK YOU! Breakfast was a tad costly, after all it is Denmark, so stuff yourself silly as it is a plentiful Scandinavian Breakfast! I would return purely based on the Ferry location only.

Average Hotel with reasonable rates. Rooms could be more comfortable, and were relatively clean.

This was a clean comfortable hotel with friendly staff. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. There is also an underground car park where we were able to park our motorbikes for free. Considering it was a very wet day when we arrived this was useful so that the bikes could dry out. Overall would highly recommend this hotel.

The first thing I have to mention is that the hotel is not called 'Outlet Hotel'--its name is 'Hotel Jutlandia.' I have no idea why it is listed as Outlet Hotel but when you arrive at the address you will find Hotel Jutlandia and that is the right place. Also, the pictures on Expedia must be very old or the rooms are in an area of the hotel I never saw because my room was very modern and furnished with very high standards. Everything appeared new, except for the carpet that had a couple spots here and there but nothing to be bothered about. The wi-fi worked well in the room and the hotel staff were all very friendly. My room at Hotel Jutlandia was absolutely fantastic. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower/bath tub combination fantastic with piping hot water, and the location of the hotel is perfect. You can walk to the pedestrian street that is full of restaurants and shopping, as well as the train/bus station in a few minutes. Even though it is across from the ferry terminal and on a busy street, my room was very quiet.I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would return should I find myself in this area of Denmark again.

The rooms are presumably the older or un-renovated part of a 3 or 4 star hotel & has the comfort & facilities to match.Reception was fantastic & check in went very smoothly.Internet was great & room comfort was everything one would expect in a star rated hotel.-flat screen TV (with English channels), fridge, coffee & tea, toiletries etc etcWell located near the port & a few minutes walk from the train station.Only negative for me is there was breakfast was not included & it is very expensive as an add on. Internal insulation is quite poor & some other guests were very noisy on part of the first night .One of the most comfortable hotels in this price range that I have stayed in Europe & highly & enthusiastically recommended.
