Very nice garden, friendly staff, museum of antique cars, shopping mall just round the corner. Ice cream and Chinese food in the mall are good. Laundry service just round the corner of the mall. Walking to the town is about 10-15 minutes. Taxi 40 pesos.

We've been guest of hacienda Sanchez many times over the last 15 years. Who is nice to see the improvement of animals statues added to a garden made it feel more like a true hacienda. However the food on Sunday evening in the restaurant was not edible. The staff did kindly cancel the order. Also they have implemented strange charges you now pay 30 pesos for a small container of ice where you can get a 7 lb bag of ice for less than that a block away at a major grocery store. Also the room was not as clean as in the past it was one of the cabanas not the hotel rooms so I'm hoping as I alerted management these things will be addressed. I hope to return to the hotel in the future

While this property has a certain charm to it from the outside, don't let this fool you. This place has decayed in the last few years since our last stay. We had stayed here twice before and decided to come back. Big mistake! Some parts/areas look like they could use some painting.
To start off, there was no hot water. When I complained to the front staff they promised they would turn the "boilers" on. Apparently this either took way to long to heat the water or was never done, since all three of us traveling had to take cold showers.
Second, the shower ceiling was falling apart and filled with mildew. I stayed in room 212. The A/C unit also struggled to cool the room off, even at the lowest setting available.
Third, the bed sheets and towels were hard and coarse. The bed sheets were also so thin and worn out that you could see the mattress right through them. The room also had a musty smell of old.
On a positive note, they do have solar panels and the restaurant had Ok food (not great, just Ok). By 7 PM, they had none of the dishes featuring chicken. The portions were of a decent size and they were flavorful.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. There are other hotels next to the Cathedral/central square which are 10 times better and cost only about $10 more per night. Skip this place and for about $10 more, indulge in a much better place around the Cathedral.

The grounds were very nice with a large garden area and swimming pool. Parking was very good for a typical Mexico hotel. We were able to park our large van with no problem. The restaurant had a very good breakfast and the service was good.

Me and my family loved the place, old hacienda style.
The closeness to cenotes makes things easy and the car collection is a plus.
May need some upgrades, other than that...exelente@@

Unfortunately was a short stay but they made us equally welcomed and gave us a good service. I’d stay there again. :)

The entire place was very quaint, and home like. The rooms were nice, and it is right by the downtown of Valladolid, and a walk in the town was amazing...very clean and almost a bit taken back in time...also close to the Cenote Zaca....AMAZING!!

It is a very good cost benefit hotel. Nice swimming pool and a nice room. Things in the hotel were a little old but we really enjoyed staying there. Bathroom needs a little maintenance and a better curtains in the windows to make the room darker would really improve this place. It is on the end of the city but we had a car.

This place is super clean but it's very basic for the price. We found the beds and pillows to be lumpy. The internet is really frustrating - barely works. That said, the staff was friendly. The location is just outside of city center and there are outside spaces to relax.

The grounds were very well kept and pleasant. It was very relaxing. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were totally fine. Just like a hotel room. The location was very convenient, both for finding it off of the highway and also for a short trip to down town. The restaurant was a very bad choice for breakfast. Very very slow with small portions.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did leave my clothes on the floor and the next morning when I picked them up hundreds of large ants were under them. That is part of being in a tropical region, so it didn't bother me. I did check the room for bugs before I went to sleep and there were not any, so they probably came in through the door or a window sill.

A sort of touristy hacienda experience. Seems like the main/largest hotel in town. Not bad. A five minute taxi ride to the bus station. Not sure walking would be a great idea (probably ok, but not sure about the neighborhood and also some stray dogs on the way). The hotel staff were nice and the room was fine. There were some bugs and mosquitos in the room but not many and they seemed to come in through open windows, although there was a small opening under the door. Good A/C. Not a luxury place, and about what we expected. We didn't have time to check our the restaurants or the old car museum, but we saw the old cars when our taxi driver took the long way out. I'd probably stay here again.

The hotel has great grounds and a nice pool for hot days..15 minute walk to town builds your appetite for great food in this charming town.

The price was right, but you get what you pay for. Room was large enough but furnishings were basic. A/C worked fine, as did the shower. Only real complaint is that after arriving at 6 pm, we had to wait nearly an hour until the room was ready.
