Very dated. Property not well maintained. Longgg walk to the beach with a sketchy bridge that was half in the water.

Had a great time

The host was a real sweet person and she tended to our requests in a timely fashion. The unit had a musty smell and the furniture was outdated. The couch had a cover of sorts over it which I had to tuck in periodically to cover it. Bed was adequate. Living room had no rug so it was a bit chilly to have stocking feet on the floor. The sauna worked and I did enjoy that feature - reach out to the host for instructions. It would be helpful to have instructions on the sauna so no one accidentally turns it off while you are waiting an hour for it to heat up. All in all it was as expected although I’d pay a little more next time to stay somewhere nicer.

The condo was a good size unit, but had a musty smell that we have experienced at other older seaside rentals. The bedroom was worse. The old coffee maker broke on day one. The dish drain rack was rusty. Asked for extra towels and they also smelled bad. The host was very polite and apologized, but that does not make up for the subpar room..

I confirmed the booking days prior over phone call email and text for the 31st. My book day was check in the 31st check out the 1st I drove all the way out there and arrived to check in to be told there was no condo available for my family and I. After confirming multiple times it was set up. Super extremely angry. Took my family 2 hours to find another place to stay over a hour away. This resort is horrible and u WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY. Horrible customer service and they made no effort to fix the problem. I’ll never recommend them to anybody.

Quiet. Adventure across bridge on beach path might not be for everyone. Gym had no working equipment. However, we went for quiet. It was peaceful. Love the Pacific Ocean

These are the nicest people. The bridge is sketchy, but it works. The units are decent. Smells of history. 9/10

Booked for 10th and got to the property after calling to confirm id be there and then messaging them too to let them know i was on the way, she turned us away and said our booking wasnt for the 10th that it was for the 11th. I had 3 kids and no cell service, had to drive all the way to a different beach to find a room at 7pm

Amazing location and super nice owner. We got extra help during our stay from her and were so grateful. The building is in need of some renovation though absolutely cosy and livable.

The property is older and not well maintained. The unit we stayed in has stains on the ceiling, the floor left our bare feet dirty and the furniture was stained and worn out. It’s so far away from everything that it was a 20 min drive to get food and groceries. The staff was friendly, but not a place I’d go back to.

The owner was as sweet as can be. Its apparent that she needs help maintaining the property. I wish her well, truly.
The property could use some maintenence on the grounds as far as landscape and the dangerous foot bridge that leads to the beach. Do not bring your wagon across that thing and use caution.
The beds were decent as was the couch. There was a musty smell going on in the main living space which must be from the couch?
It was just okay.

It was quite shabby for the price. Our room smelled like wet towels and the kitchen sink faucet was so wobbly it would lean way to one side. The bridge to the ocean leaves much to be desired in terms of safety. No one had their dogs on a leash.
On the bright side, the proprietors were very nice upon check in. We made the best of our stay, and I am not overly picky, but there was a lot to overlook for spending nearly $1000 on a family weekend away.

We felt so taken care of when we checked in. They even gave us some chocolate once they found out we were there for my birthday. Darling resort, we’re so happy!

This is the quintessential Washington coastal experience. It’s the perfect blend of nice and kitsch. It is not a Ramada Inn. If that is what you want you should go to Omaha. If you want to walk to the beach and knock yourself out in the rain digging your limit of clams and trudging back for beer and the freshest possible fried clams, then this it.

Make sure to see the condo BEFORE paying for it .
there was mold behind the beds, fridges, and tables , sand everywhere, animal hair in the sheets, the sinks were disgusting, the bedding was STAINED and gross, they say its iron in the water but honestly its still unappealing and looks disgusting, when its fully booked THERE IS HARDLY ANY PARKING, one of the people that live there smoke weed and its smells bad constantly. They also will not refund anything even after saying they will.
I don't recommend staying here, its unprofessional and just DIRTY.

We could imagine what this property must be like in the summer, full of kids and families. A great place to stay by the coast. We didn't take the trek down to the water and wish we'd gotten firewood for the stove in early March.

I have to say the owner was very welcoming and kind. I feel the condo is stuck in the 1970s. The bedding seemed outdated and so was the couch and overall decor. I’m sorry to say but it was hard to see pass it. That made it seem just old, stuffy and not relaxing. I hope they can fix some of the cosmetic stuff it would do the place good and give it magic if it had fresh paint, simple decor and updated furniture/decor.

The owner and staff were very nice and friendly. Accomodations were clean and neat. Had everything we needed, except no hot tub or pool.

Plenty of space, with comfortable bed and lots of furniture to sit on. Included fridge and stove were very handy. Bathroom was adequate, but needs updating. Parking very convenient and private trail down to the beach a great bonus!

Great solitude with pool, hot tub and dry sauna on premise.

The condo did not look like the pictures ay all. They were small but comfortable. The condo has seen better days. The appliances are old and not in good repair. The floor is tile, with no area rugs so it felt a bit stark. One morning there was no water, but that seemed to get fixed quickly. The water is from a well and smells of iron. I would recommend bringing drinking water. There are no shear curtains so it's either wide open or completely dark. So very little ambiance.
We didn't use the pool or hot tub but they were not crowded. This area was also not like the pictures. There is a roof or enclosure of some type. It all seemed a little shabby.
The property itself was kind of depressing. A run down children's play area that frankly looked like a hazard. The grass was dead and scratchy and of course the sand burrs. Wires strung across the property on makeshift boards for power and cable. Seemed a bit dangerous and unsightly. It's about a 1/4 mile walk to the beach. Not bad but not close either.
We left a day early, but not solely because the property was sad.

Very close to ocean and walk was ok bridge worn

Seemed fine at first. Then, very little comunication with office. Each time office person was away at meetings. Property had large yards. Ground cover was a thorny weed that pricked my dogs paws. I had to carry her.
Also the thorns attached to the bottom of my shoes.

The condo that I stayed in was right near the beach entrance. The setting was peaceful and the condo was perfect for me. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside is that it's a little expensive in summer months.

We had to turn around and drive all the way home with two tired kids. They booked our room out from under us. Terrible experience.

Good and bad. At checkin, no one was in the office, but contacted by phone. I had booked 2 queens, got one king. Couldn't reach anyone the first night to change. They did get us to the correct room next night. Rooms are eclectic, so different towel sets, sheets, kitchen sets, which were all fine. Some tea in first room, none in second (we don't drink coffee, and had forgotten tea at home). No ice on property. No book saying what was available on property either. So the beds were comfy, lots of morning light in the room (I do prefer blackout curtains), kitchens were decent, small coffee cups. I'm not sure if I would stay here again, for the price it wasn't great, but it was comfy.

The pictures lied, this place is a trailer park they called an condo. We got in around 10pm, it was pitch black and very creepy. I was walked to my room and an random man walked up to me ask for my door and if I was supposed to there. He opened the door, turn a light and just left He left I felt every disturb that he knew my room code and just popped out of no where. My room doors didn’t lock, I put chair and table against the door and slept with lights on. This place is old and just creepy. If everything around wasn’t sold out I would have left in an heartbeat. Be worn, I wish I paid attention to the other bad reviews.

Upon arrival they said they had no record of my reservation, even tho I prepaid the one night fee. And months Prior to arriving I called the property and was told I actually had to reserve an additional night because "Expedia didn't follow the holiday requirements" per the front desk. So the trip I originally expected to pay 560 for turned into a 1300 stay. And who knows if they will try to cgarge ne anything more. Even tho I left the room a day early and cleaner than I found it.
The room was full of cobwebs, toilet that scooted around the base, outdated everything and property managers that don't mind over charging. The bed was full of springs. Ended up sleeping on a loveseat to st least watch the 32" TV provided.
The guy in front of me had the same experience with the over charging of a prebooked room.
I feel scammed and neither Expedia or the property seem to care to remedy the outrageousproblem. Be wise to just pay for the cancelation option that is now required.

Pros- very clean, friendly, spacious, equipped kitchen, very quiet, dogs welcomed.
Cons-property looks nothing like the website. We attempted to walk to the “close” beach through tall unkempt foliage distant
path and came upon a wooden raggedy looking bridge. Nope. No thanks. Website significantly embellished and overrated. Will not be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Beachwood. The management/owner was very welcoming, the condo was very comfortable, the beach was beautiful! We wish we had found them sooner, and would love to come back for a longer stay!

The owners/managers were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I already booked a second stay there for July.

The pictures lie! The pool was absolutely filthy, hot tub had chucks of chemicals stuck to sides and way too hot, sauna didn’t work & no one was available in office. Went to office several times for help but no one available. The pictures make it look like a nice resort but it’s pretty ran down & looks nothing like pictures. Rooms were ok but not a lot of sitting options to see small tv. Beds were ok but not the most comfortable for someone w back pain. Disappointed overall especially thinking it was like pictures!

Beachwood Condos & Resort is a short walk to the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They are a short drive from Oceanshores.

It was bad! My daughter found a joint in the closet. Bugs and cob webs because nobody ever properly cleans the place. Water wasn't drinkable. Power kept going out. Just an overall horrible experience. Supposed to be carpeted because i have a 7 month old child, but they put me in the dog room that smelled like dog with a tilee floor so we had to hold the child the majority of time to prevent him from injuring himself.
