A boutique hotel down a cobblestone alley. Charming, tidy, clean and comfortable with friendly service.

Well located in the old city near the plaza, it still give serenity. The Staffs and the owners are all nice and friendly. The best part is its view from the top terrace. You can see the whole ruins and mountains in the morning. Highly recommend

Great views!

The room is has shown in the pictures and it has a great bed with multiple layers of warm blankets. The view is majestic from the upper terrace and the overall hotel is authentic to the city. We had a super late check-in and the man welcoming us during the night was super friendly. The hotel is charming with all the vegetation and enclosed garden. For that price point it’s definitely a wonderful hotel but don’t expect a contemporary setup it is has shown in there pictures. Would go back without any doubts.

Hotel Intitambo offers a truly memorable experience with its stunning mountain views that are nothing short of breathtaking. The hotel's authentic ambiance, combined with its cleanliness and comfort, makes for a welcoming and cozy stay.
Upon arrival, we were feeling unwell due to the altitude, but the staff went above and beyond to make us feel better. They provided special tea and food that helped immensely, and even allowed us to check in early, which was a great relief. This level of care and attention to guests' needs is what makes Hotel Intitambo stand out.
The location is another fantastic aspect of this hotel. It's just a few minutes' walk to the main square, where you can find a variety of restaurants and activities to enjoy. The convenience of being so close to the heart of town while still enjoying a peaceful, scenic setting adds great value to the stay.
Overall, Hotel Intitambo provides a perfect blend of comfort, authenticity, and exceptional service. Whether you're looking to relax and take in the unbelievable mountain views or explore the local area, this hotel is an excellent choice.

Lovely quiet location just a few minutes from the main square. Helpful staff, great views from the rooftop terrace.

Excellent service and having filtered water available at all times was a bonus! Breakfast was delicious and location close to the square was perfect.

It’s a best place to stay in Ollantaytambo with the ruins viewable from the roof top and our room window. It’s not steep as we thought walking up from main plaza. We enjoyed walking around, to the ruins / restaurants. Felt very safe among the locals. The owner and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. They organized the transportation to pick us up from Cusco airport and toured the Sacred Valley. They provided free luggage storage when we went to visit Machu Picchu. It’s about 15 minutes walk to Peru rail station. Only wish the bathroom was a little bigger but we managed it. Strong recommend.

Very helpful staff, Marcela tries her best to make your stay worry-free. She was very good at arranging our tour and transportation especially when we were late coming back from Machu Picchu; she had someone pick us up at the train station. The hotel also packed breakfast for us when we left very early for our tour.

This hotel is a gem, located a couple of blocks from Plaza de Armas, within the quaint network of cobblestone streets with irrigation canals. We walked everywhere, including to the Ollantaytambo ruins.
Our room was clean and spacious. It's not a huge modern hotel, so keep that in mind. The common areas are beautiful. We had our coffee in a charming courtyard full of flowering plants and a huge tomato tree. The terrace has breathtaking views of the surrounding ruins and mountains and is a perfect place for sky-gazing if the weather permits. We enjoyed the breakfast, with fresh local fruit and breads.
But the best part of our stay was the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. They really did treat us like family, gave us advice on local places to visit/eat at, and even gave us all hugs when we were leaving. We left our luggage there after check-out, and when we went back to pick-up, Marcella at the front desk saw how tired we were (after our Machu Picchu hike) and immediately offered us some coffee and refreshments.
We had a great stay, and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

The staff at Hotel Intitambo were really outstanding and very friendly. When was the last time staff hugged you as you were departing? Everyone was so eager to help and always had smiles on their faces.

Great place! The open ceiling is a great place to see the mountain. Host is very friendly and helpful. Help us plan the trip and book the taxi for us. Had a great time there!

Great location a few blocks from the main square, beautiful views of the mountains from my terrace bedroom and Christina at the front desk is a jewel.

This hotel is a little gem. My advice is to arrive at night and walk out onto the balcony in the morning to see a 360 degree view of crazy tall mountains. Unbelievable. Pictures cannot communicate the depth of the view that you will have. The staff tries so very hard to please. You will see the effect they go to when you have your first breakfast. See the layout of fresh fruit and watch the chef fresh pressing all of the juice and you will understand how hard they try. I would advise you to feel safe as you walk the 7 blocks from plaza de armas. You are beginning to mix with the local population. If that scares you, this is probably not the hotel for you. The streets are very narrow in these Peruvian cities...it feels different than you may be used to. But again, we felt totally safe. It is just narrow and darker and takes an adjustment. Having stayed in Cusco, ollantaytambo is a nice shift...much quieter and slower paced with, as I mentioned above, just breathtaking views that you don't get in Cusco. Personally, aguas clients is sketchy. And so this is actually my favorite place to relax in peru

This is a very cute; extremely comfortable Inn in the small town of Ollantaytambo. The views were magnificent and the rooms were extremely comfortable. Our trip could have ended here and we would have been happy. The best thing about this place is the staff. They could not have been nicer and more accommodating. I highly recommend this place!

The hotel is a smaller, family run, hotel adjacent to the Archaeological Park in Ollantaytambo, Peru. The personel are very professional and run a tidy operation. The manager greeted us in an authentically friendly manner and even allowed us to store our suitcases the day before we actually checked in since we had a trip to Machu Picchu. Breakfast was good with a variety of options.

Simply put a beautiful hotel. The room was spacious, sparkling clean and super comfortable. Free wifi and hot shower were great. The views from the upstairs patio were stunning. Breakfast was delicious with so much choice. Most of all, the service was outstanding, the staff was willing to go above and beyond - they arranged for my taxi, stored my bag, helped with directions/recommendations etc. I had a very memorable stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights and the location is great! Silvia at the front desk was AMAZING as well as the sweet couple that owns the place. They were very helpful in arranging tour and taxis for us at a better price than on the street. The view from the third floor was the best. Favorite city we stayed in during our trip.

Our stay in Ollantaytambo could not have been better. You can't beat the view from the Intitambo Hotel terrace! What a gem, large clean room and bathroom, very helpful staff, organised taxi/trip at reasonable price, excellent breakfast. Muchas gracias for everything!

The top floor view was beautiful. Great breakfast. Got very loud in neighborhood. No heating in room.

The hotel was great for our needs and clean. Only issue was that they charged us an extra $10 for a child when the booking was already for the three of us (2 adults and one 7 year old). Be prepared for the extra charges regardless of whether you tell them a kid is coming.

They were super attentive to our needs.
Our room had a gorgeous view. The top terrace is lovely with a 360 degree view of the town and the ruins.
They held our luggage for us and arranged a taxi ride. We were touched by how helpful they were.
One thing to note is that they strongly prefer cash for all transactions but they do not have change for you so you'd better carry lots of coins with you (like when you buy water from them and such)
Overall highly recommend!

The Terrace rooms are spectacular. The views of the two mountains are just wonderful make time to sit on the terrace at all hours of the day we had 302 room and our friend had 3O3 room. They had great water pressure we did not leave the water running to get hot water. Comfortable beds clean rooms. How we got to the hotel is somewhat scary however the Service and staff Were so helpful and kind. The Area is perfectly safe we walked around at night. I would stay here again in a heartbeat but Hotel is absolutely beautiful flowers everywhere.
