In Saint George's Cathedral Pilgrim Guest House, the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to offer assistance. Loui, is a talented man and surprised me with beautiful bed decorations.
Masses are held at the Cathedral every day, except for Saturday. Attending mass was possible for me and it was a delight to reconnect with the lovely priests who introduced me to their Bishop, Hosam Naoum. Outside, there is a beautiful garden with tables where we can sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Despite having a small selection of food, the buffet is still delicious. The location is exceptional and easily accessible to numerous historical and biblical landmarks. These were all within walking distance of one another.

Very comfortable place to stay, it includes breakfast and free parking and a great sense of history. Would recommend staying if you don’t like missing some of the luxuries (it is a basic hotel).

I was so happy it was clean! Especially having come from a hotel that was dirty. After several days I asked for the floor to be cleaned since we tracked in debris. it was taken care of that day. It was a wonderful stay. The gardens are beautiful and smelled lovely. We sat in back courtyard under shade and gazed upon the rose garden. The inside sitting area was relaxing, and breakfast despite some repetition was very good and plentiful. Our room was cool and refreshing after a day in sun.

Very cool place, great quality. A bit noisy in the morning when staff start preparing breakfast; it's not a very well insulated place.

Very very pleasant stay, above our expectations.
The only complaint is the current from the shower head that felt somewhat like needles

I've visited a lot of placs around the world, and my experience with hotels in Israel has been constantly underwhelming to outright dissappointing--other reviews about Israel hotels I've visited don't exist because I could not find enough nice things to say about the places. So, I went to St George's holding my breath. It exeeded my expectations! My thinking was if you are in the Holy Land, stay somewhere that compliments that experience. This place is right on target - good price, nice accommodations and charm, close to the Old City, and a friendly staff. I highly recommend St George's Cathedral and Guesthouse.

We stayed for 14 nights and we give the highest grading for the building, its character and the service given to us. Our room was large and excellent although we had problems with the plumbing in our bathroom which the staff tried hard to resolve. The building is fuil of character and the staff helpful and the food good.

Great historic location very close walking distance to a lot of attractions. Helpful, quiet staff. Pillows much too firm and large. No frills location but comfortable and clean and felt very safe.

The whole notion of the property was so unusual, stopping in the grounds of a cathedral. Its location to the Old City was excellent. Only negatives were that for two days, very early, some building work took place which disturbed my sleep. The area near my room was dusty form the above work. The kitchen shut a little early at 7.00/7.30 pm.

There are no elevators so be prepared to lug your suitcases up steps. I got lucky checking in and the man washing the dishes offered to help me out. The one waiter was not polite to me because I was not part of a group I suppose. However, the man at the front desk was kind. The shower in the room I was placed in flooded the entire bathroom almost out into the bedroom every night. I regularly had to get extra towels from the housekeeping cart every night to sop it up. The air conditioner was more like a fan and employees were smoking inside as I arrived. (i was under the impression this was nonsmoking... O mentioned something to the staff and was laughed off) I finally decided to suck it up and I took the financial loss to leave 3 days early and finish out my trip at the Notre Dame hotel.
