Super staff. Very clean, well updated room. Everything you needed. The property is an old motor court motel that's been brought up to date. This property was an excellent value.

The host was so friendly and helpful. Check in and out was very fast. I felt safe leaving my car. They let me leave my bag at the front desk on the last day of the conference. The room is very nice, with fridge and microwave. There is a nice courtyard. No elevators, but that was fine for me.

This is a renovated older facility. They did an excellent job of refurbishing the rooms. Clean, modern and comfortable. Our room had a sitting area with a small TV and there was a larger TV in the main bed area. The manager (perhaps also owner?) was super nice and always had a friendly greeting for us. It’s not a luxurious place but it is quite comfortable. It is a three story place with no elevator so keep that in mind.

Nick greeted us when we arrived and we knew we were in for a great stay. His hospitality and friendliness was unlike anything we could have expected. Our room was exactly what we needed and the king size bed was firm but comfortable. We took advantage of the location and walked downtown easily from our room as well as going to Academic Coffee in the morning which was nearly nextdoor to the hotel.

Visiting San Jose for a concert at the Civic and this hotel met all of our needs. We were greeted by their friendly host. Our room was clean and comfortable. Loved it was so close had several fun hangouts after the show! After checking out, our host called us to say we left a sweater in the room for which we were very grateful!

It was nice and clean, took my own pillow only because I have neck issues. Large suite and great location. Everything was very walkable and it has many variations of entertainment and discovering San Jose’s charm. I will be back!

We only stayed for one night but it was such a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were provided with great suggestions for dinner before our event and were even given a heads up about the parking. We really enjoyed our stay here and plan on staying here again.

The service staff was phenomenal. From the moment we arrived they were very welcoming and accommodating. We were there for a half marathon and they were able to help us out with flexible check in and out times surrounding our event. Parking is tight but they helped us find a great space when we thought we were out of luck with our SUV. We visited during peak heat and the AC struggled to keep up, but was sufficient for a comfortable nights rest. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely little hotel. The proprietor was extremely helpful and kind. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located in downtown San Jose, yet my room was quiet. I felt safe walking around the area after dark.

The place was great! Every time I’ve heard a hotel have the word inn in the name I’ve always been a little hesitant but it was a great experience, the room was great and so was the staff. We were greeted multiple times throughout the stay (but not in an overly excessive way). We will definitely be staying here again in the future

I had a great stay here while in town for a conference in downtown San Jose. Family-owned business. Great staff. Clean, pleasant, spacious room. Short walk to the convention center. Free onsite parking. Quality coffee shop around the corner.

Stayed for a concert at the SAP and was really happy with our stay, especially how clean our room was. Everything looks freshly painted and furnished so I wouldn’t be surprised if it has recently been remodeled. I’m allergic to lots of things so the cleanliness is the first thing I noticed. Our Uber ride was only a few minutes to the venue which was nice because we like being away from the heavier traffic but still close enough to have a quick drive. It is close enough to restaurants to just walk around and explore San Pedro Square. Check in was easy and the desk attendant was friendly and helpful. The free and convenient parking was great since many hotels charge an added fee now and it was a bonus to book this one. I’d definitely stay again. Only thing that would make it better would be if there was a pool, but since we knew we wouldn’t be using it anyway this stay, it was the perfect place.

I highly recommend this place. The room and bathroom are very spacious. Everything smells nice and clean (linens, towels, bed). Free parking is a plus. No free breakfast but there are a lot of nearby coffee shops and restaurant. The owner is very hands on and accomodating.

Guy here runs this hotel like a camp. You’re constantly watched and there’s cameras everywhere I’m pretty sure to make sure everyone “plays nice”. If you enjoy being stalked, not being able to bring visitors to your room, or not making any noise after 9 book this place asap. Also, try not to go breaking any rules or he will yell at you like your dad when you do something wrong. Owner can take a few classes in how to be professional to people and not threatening to kick them out either. Skip this place and pay the extra 20-30 a night elsewhere.

The manager who checked me in was very pleasant. I think he wort straight through for the two day that I stayed there. It was a short walk to the convention center, but I passed some shutter businesses on the way. However, I would still stay there again based on the hotel quality and price.

Small hotel with owner on site. Very friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and clean, has mini fridge and microwave. Plenty of counter space by the sink. Parking space is a little tight but manageable and plenty. Area is quiet and safe. Towels are pretty thin and pillows rather flat. If they could replace them, it'd be perfect.

Once again our stay was wonderful. The property is own by a family that is hands on and take pride in their business. The property is clean and the rooms are clean, spacious, and offers a quiet night sleep. We visit San Jose every year and always stay at the Convention Inn and Suites. We will be back next year.

The owner was super nice and helpful with providing information about places to do or eat in the area. The room was spacious and provided more than we expected too! Our 4-day stay was surprisingly quiet and peaceful even with all the events that was happening down the street. Overall, loved the stay and have no complaints! Would stay again for sure!
